- Two weeks ago @JLINHH and I made our way to Vietnam for the first time in over 3 years to explore with the Sony Xperia 1 IV. It was my first time creating on a Sony phone and I was really excited to try out 4K 120 because I have never seen that feature on a smartphone before. The 85-125mm seamless zoom lens gave me the opportunity to film really tight to capture detailed shots.

Fire footage Andy! 🔥 Nice to have 4K 120 on all the lenses now. I was hoping we would get back 1080P 960 fps in better quality and longer record time but hopefully in a future Xperia device.

Damn! I’ve been deep in the iPhone eco system since forever… I started with the first iPhone and remember arguing with friends who owned Blackberry phones and laughed at my iPhone. All this to say that this is the first time I am considering switching to a Sony Xperia. This looks amazing. Love your work brother. 👊😎
don't , if you expect to shoot on auto mode. this phone uses or feels like they're using, 0 computational photography AI whatever. I wish it was cheaper though but i hope they get so good that it puts computational photography to shame. maybe xperia 1 viii or something but by then, the mainstream camera phones would be somewhere else too
Thanks for the info! Did you have any problems with recording audio on external mic while filming? I'm using a rode video micro+sc7 cable and my audio levels are way low than I would like to have at the maximum volume input settings (they are 2 times lower than on internal mic).

What do you think about the ''Venice CS'' preset on the cinema pro app? I noticed that you didnt use any preset on your video. So do you think its always better to record videos without any presets? Or sometimes profiles like Venice CS would work? Thank you in advance.

Def gotta be Vietnam. Even though I wasn’t born there it’s the motherland and I learned so much about myself and my family after traveling there for my first time
Wow nice shots you have there. Though smartphone cameras have come along way, unless they begin to feature larger sensors I don't think it is worth it to spend so much time editing clips taken from those tiny sensors. Unless sponsored of cause.
