    13:10 In The Netherlands we use the cobble stones to slow down car traffic and make it a safer place for walking and cycling. The stones give audible feedback to the driver about his speed. Astfalt is so quiet that car drivers don't really get a feel for their speed.

    • @WillieFungo
      @WillieFungo  ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Rwanda is definitely taking a lot of inspiration from European cities like Amsterdam for walkable cyclist-friendly urban planning.

    What is a British climate?

      Oceanic CFB, which is very rare outside of Britain and Northwest Europe.

    How can this be Africa's coldest city, when they have snow in Lesotho?

    • @WillieFungo

      In this context, a "British Climate" is a climate similar to the one found in Britain. This particular city is is one of the few places outside Britain and Northern France with the Oceanic Cfb climate classification, known for mild temperatures, high humidity, and lots of rain. I didn't say "Britain's Climate" , which would mean the climate only found in Britain.

    • @WillieFungo

      But even if I did say "Britain's Climate" the point would still be the same. You have to read between the lines instead of taking things too literally.

      The rental prices are too high for the consumer. The part that confuses me is how the building owners make money and why they keep building more.
