Dunno about you. Kumagawa is just too edgy and nihillistic, Takatou nonchalant and straight forward approach is a breath of fresh air. That being said, I wouldn't disagree that Takatou personality is plain in comparison to most shonen story out there but the world building in this story is top tier and don't leave things vague.

MC can kill the villain if he got found and even immune to their mind control. But MC didn't know who or where that guy is, why the villain keep using innocent bystander against him. The point of story is to find that guy, but that was a struggle that MC face. This story has no conflict that his power can't fix with single thought.
