The fact that many people see him do this shit.... And yet the ones that are in power's first thought is "he's to powerful, we should get rid of him" How have you not learned the lesson yet!!!!
I think they don't know much about "Instant Death", Sion is aware of its existence but not it's limitations, so she underestimated Takatou due to her hubris.
Also her arrogancy wasn't unfounded, because technically Battle Song System (sages' source of power) has a resistance against Instant Death *MAGIC* but not Yogiri's Instant Death.
There are two reasons why: 1 - People assume his ability works based on him using his voice command and even the smarter folks think that it works based on his eyesight, so they think to themselves "if i can move faster than he can speak, or prevent him from speaking, or stay out of his eyesight i should be fine". It took like six episodes for people to realize that it is both a verbal command AND emotion based. 2 - The crucial part of why people keep trying, is that they also mistake his power for "death magic" which people in that world have measures of dealing with, such as regeneration, magical immunity, immortality, necromancy and more, but Takatou's power is basically the concept of un-existence... unfortunately for them since he calls it "instant death", it causes people to assume they can handle it and they get arrogant around him. With unexistence magic or "instant death" magic as he calls it, when he tells someone to "die" or they generate killing intent towards him, his power activates and ERASES their soul - that means it doesn't go to Heaven, Hell, or the Afterlife, it just stops existing entirely, thus making it impossible to revive the person
Long-story short, it's because they severely underestimate his ability. This is just the whole 'you can't truly understand until you experience it' scenario, but on a scale of an entirely different dimension. The sages, gods/goddesses and other almighty beings figured out a ton of ways to extend their lifespan, or cheat what they knew as 'death', that they considered themselves immortal. So like Sion early on, they just thought 'Yeah this might be tricky, but it's not like it's impossible to beat. Everyone who died was just careless or stupid.' It's only AFTER they start to try things out, fail and get irreparable damage done that Sion realizes that saying 'she 'f'-ed it up for their universe SO badly' is putting it VERY lightly (the others don't even get a chance to realize how dumb they were because they already died by that point). That one sage (Aoi) was the only one that technically got away unscathed because she used her powers to see every possible future involving him, and her power basically told her every time 'Do ANYTHING with this one, and you reach the WORST END possible.'
They are lucky *Mr. Absolute End* choose the quick and painless option most of the time. Imagine if he picked them to "die very painfully" on every occasion.

The fact that he is able to kill anyone who has killing intent towards him is explained by his very nature. He is the End of all things who happened to have taken human form and gain a personnality, he is nothing except the very "concept' of End. If anything else is trying to kill him, it means it is acting against the universal Law of him being the End. Basically, anyone trying to kill him ( which would mean to end him ) is in fact trying to usurp Takatou's role, which can not be and could never be, for nothing except himself can be The End. The fact that he can kill even by reflex (by accident) is the sign that Takatou, by simply existing, contradict every possibility of anyone or anything else outlasting him. He can only kill. He can't really restore anything (at least, not as far as it's known in the series). 'Alpha-Omega' doesn't refer to 'life and death'. It's referring to 'beginning and end', as in 'it existed when things started, and it'll remain until the very end'. In this case, I think it's referring more to how death existed from the beginning of everything, and it'll exist until literally everything else ends.
In other words, he's a Walking Calamity, Abomination and a Man-made Disaster. Depends, his ability activated and kills people before they use their instakill abilities on him, on top of that if she steals his abilities with the "intent" of killing him she will die from having the intent to kill him, if she found a way to get his ability even then she would originally have to be his species, which is basically an eldric being outside of bounds of the universe in order to kill him, if she somehow does manage to match that she and him won't be able to do anything to eachother because at this point not only is he the end but she is the end, and because they both are the same thing at this very moment on would assume nothing would happen.

He can kill the suppose unkillable, meaning thete no counters. So that means you can predict how it gonna go. Be right about 99% of the time. Really. The show is being carry by the side characters.
I mean, that's kind of the entire point of the series - at least as a franchise, it kind of seems like the anime tries to play it straight for some bizarre reason. It kind of goes to show how basically every other isekai MC's OP powerset is functionally no different from, and not really any more interesting than, this. Yeah, the lack of meaningful moral conflict from him makes it boring, but like half of the other stories to get adapted from that 'Let's Publish Novels!' site or whatever are characterized that way too and have exactly as many moral problems using their ability to instantly turn anything into a nuclear blast and raise the dead like Tatsuya, or whatever the hell Anos VoldiGOAT is.

In other words, a reality where Takatou is dead while other things continue to be (even things like gravity or fate), is impossible.
There is no pj based on a Christian god because he could easily kill him because he exists above the end but no mangaka dares to capture him with all his power, not even Jesus, besides these stories seem more like parodies to put an op pj because yes I doubt that al Christian god would like something like that 😷
Yogiri is imagination character by his Author he's not real person.
@@jerson.romantico.1521 Yogiri is imagination character by his Author he's not real person. All fiction are imagined by people just like Angels is non existence to real people.
Quacker oats with nothing mixed in has more flavor than this MC
what if there is another "alpha and omega" from another entire different dimension that the power of this MC doesn't applied to them?
Thats basically an unstoppable force, meeting an unstoppable force, nothing would happen.
I talked about how he can kill anyone or anything that has a concept of death. But I was actually unsure if it applies to everything. I forgot dude has seals. If he has seals, that means all he has done was just the first seal.. Damn. He has 5 right? I wonder what's the last seal. I mean, in the first seal he can already kill universe eaters.
賢者シオン(CV:ネプギア)
So this dude some kind o deus ex maquina with arms and legs or the concept of death make it human 🤔
Yes
anime?
Man i can't believe I'm seeing Rean did Alisa so bad (voice actor references)
:o
Still believe they should've been together
一発アウト!。
really want this to come to crunchyroll
Meh I prefer the manga where there's no special noise/effect and you just see the person drop dead
So, he can only kill? He can resurrect or restore anything? He has the word Alpha in his name too
Nope. He's literally the End of all things in human form. 😈
Doesn't Takatou have any regrets, pity, remorse or even sadness of intentionally or accidentally erasing an enemy out of existence that tries to kill him? Imagine, if he instantly erase the Universe, the Multiverse and everything around him, they'll be nothing left for him but eternal loneliness. Also, who's gonna undone/reverse the damage that Takatou have done?
@@mystyle_jm8997 That's what will happen to him. He is not human. He can kill time, space, and death itself. He is the last existence. He is the Omega. The End of All.
The only question is, why Yogiri takes form of a Human and lives on Earth, and what's his true purpose of his existence?
Takatou can Solo anyone you name 📛 them there Dead my New favorite Anime Truly spectacular.
I’m not sure about that victor/Andy from undead unluck can beat him low/mid diff
@-_-Haise-_- yogiri can kill concepts as well. He can kill his curse, or the concept of his "undeath". It's even said that those whom death does not apply, yogiri can still kill.
Azathoth can
@@triviamasterkona1003 true, except he negates the rule of death, which in their universe is a rule that predates the beginning, being one of the 10 original rules. This means his source could be said to exist before the beginning (alpha) and after the end (Omega) making it outside of Takatou's jurisdiction of power.
If they exist outside his finite fate's power, they are safe.
@@nickschumacher4309 Yogiri's true form will ignore all of that. None can escape from the end.
Lol

Just when I thought the whole "the main character is OP" couldn't be any more boring, this show came along and showed "yes, it can get more boring".
not only is the plot boring and uninteresting thanks to yet another main character that is so OP he won't ever be at risk of losing or dying but this show also went the extra step by not even bothering to animate spectacular, interesting and entertaining fight scenes for us to watch.
Well done animators!
Seriously, who is this show made for? People who's favorite hobbies includes watching Paint dry and Grass grow?
The whole show is basically everyone trying to be creative and find the way to kill MC
Can he beat Altair from Re:Creators?
Depends, his ability activated and kills people before they use their instakill abilities on him, on top of that if she steals his abilities with the "intent" of killing him she will die from having the intent to kill him, if she found a way to get his ability even then she would originally have to be his species, which is basically an eldric being outside of bounds of the universe in order to kill him, if she somehow does manage to match that she and him won't be able to do anything to eachother because at this point not only is he the end but she is the end, and because they both are the same thing at this very moment on would assume nothing would happen.
@@Nezha_Main Altair can:
Make an exact replica of an enemy.
Trap an enemy in a different dimension.
Move to the real world and kill the author.
These are just three out of more than 60 equally OP holoscopicon abilities.
@@Michael-uw6vi i have searched the interwebs and have found several idiots arguing over this with several characters including altair and what I found is none of the arguments have ended and it's all inconclusive 😶, in other words I would just wait and find out.
Anime name please
My Instant Death Ability Is Overpowered
This is absolute boring. It's like i make a minecraft speedrun with commands and godmode.
i dont remember the manga having these scenes
I can’t say anything about the manga, but I remember them all being in the light novel at least.
Yea they all happen in the light novels.
Does he need to say die to kill?
nope, he can also kill while he's sleeping (unconscious)
@@aiya5777 Doesn't make any logical sense. I love op characters, but they have to at least make a lick of sense for me to be invested. How can someone make the conscious decision of ending someone's life while unconscious?
@@ImaginaryWatcher nothing is absolute, all existence will come to an end
yogiri is not op per se, he's simply "the end"🤷
yogiri already ended many gods and many worlds in the story, and he did it effortlessly
@@ImaginaryWatcher out of many gods and many worlds
yogiri only spared the god where he's in, he only ended it's "self" thus left the god in a comatose state. he did it to prevent the world from collapsing on itself, if the world collapsed ofc his girlfriend would also get afflicted by it
so yogiri decided to kinda spared that one god lol
still sucks tho, getting your sense of self ended like that🗿
@@aiya5777 That doesn't answer my question but okay. I mean, that concept sounds cool on paper, but unless he can somehow force an end unto everything, overwriting their nature, it means he can do nothing to someone who is "endless" or "Eternal". You can't bring forth an end to something that simply doesn't have an end.
He has too much power.
He needs to be nerfed somehow in the next installment
He can't be nerfed bro
The story is interesting in the light novel even with his absolutely all mighty ability
That's the sole point the author created him. The most op character in the history of anime verse. It's basically the indirect challenge for the other authors to create someone stronger then Yogiri.
It simply adapts to Lucifer or Archangel Michael from the Bible, both immortal, even above death, even in DC comics, they respect their powers, both would easily destroy this protagonist. 😷
Officialy he is only character who can kill everyone including Goku, luffy, naruto, saitama etc.😆😆😆
Bet he can’t kill a mech
He sure can. His power is more akin to "ending" rather than "killing" things.
To him living means being able to move. So, yeah he can end all things which can move. Like the puppets controlled by yuuki henchmen
he did kill the momentum and ice so why not
He can kill anything songs that exist within the alpha Omega (the beginning and the end)
As that's just about everything, including the laws of physics, and yes mechs.
Theoretically the only things he can't kill is anything that exists outside the boundaries of the beginning and end, such as truly infinite beings, or beings that can go beyond even Infinity.
@@nickschumacher4309
Maybe something which has not an end yet. Not just in concept but also in reality. Like SCP, which have endless author.
like why even watch this dude
This seems like a boring anime if they make him that OP
This anime got boring very fast cause of that ability. It was just, so boring.
He had no qualms with people dying. So no moral deleima.
He eins as soon someone want to kill him. So no trouble.
He can kill the suppose unkillable, meaning thete no counters. So that means you can predict how it gonna go. Be right about 99% of the time.
Really. The show is being carry by the side characters.
the author informed the readers at the end of light novel vol 1
let's drop all the Acts and Admit that the mc will win the fight anyway🤷
So lame
too many overpowered mc in there recent anime. . it's getting boring
Overpowered? I think that isnt quite putting this into context. He's not overpowered. He's basically warping all of reality and even non existence as he pleases.
this is a boring anime ive watched many with overpowered characters ( slime one for example ) but those arent boring this MC is boring and with this one i got bored after watching just 2 episodes
What a boring anime
I can’t count this guy in any fights because if that’s the case he’s gonna win every fucking fight I would love to watch this show, but can you even call it a show this guy says die and everybody dies I mean, that kind of makes it boring don’t you think?
This is the final form of lazy boring isekai bullshit.
