No need for me to skip to sunrise, as this reminds me of international travel over the Atlantic! I love savoring it all...even the hours I'm usually snoozing! Feeling snug & cosy with the jet's engines humming! This is my absolute FAVORITE experience, of all!
Thank you, this is my third Transatlantic full flight video on here - I have already uploaded London Heathrow - New York JFK and Dublin-Philadelphia too, and in 2017 I will be filming Frankfurt-San Francisco and back to London Heathrow :)
Absolutely AWESOME flight, and landing had nary a bump! You'd laugh if you could see me sitting as I do aboard a plane with my nose almost pressed against computer monitor, lest I miss anything! Beautiful Ireland! A slightly different patchwork-quilt from that of England. Was supposed to go there next February, but didn't save $$ to go, so NYC will be my consolation-prize! As long as I can FLY, my addiction will be satisfied! Marvelous work! Thanks, as always for taking me along with you! Blessings and stay safe!
Thank you so much for your lovely comments! Nice to hear from you, I hope you are well. Ireland is indeed very beautiful on a sunny day. It's a shame you couldn't go, but hope you enjoy New York :) You're very welcome as a passenger any time :)
Great hearing from you! Instead of New York, I've decided to opt for Dublin instead! For what my New York hotel-room will cost for a week, I can fly to Dublin, from Albuquerque, NM! Lol!! Wishing you safe travels and continued happiness, friend! Keep these marvelous FULL FLIGHT videos coming! God bless you!
This is great footage!! The Boeing 757 was a wonderful airplane and very well designed. It might've been slightly been overpowered, but it was a pilot's favorite on those "short" cycling take offs with minimal runway needed. The high performance capabilities the 757 had, made it a favorite among a lot of airlines. It had a really great wing and fuselage assembly that made this airplane an iconic marvel. Those engines were amazing as well. I love this video as it shows the "smoothness" of the overnight flight, all the way to Ireland. The airplane must've been flying very smoothly. What a wonderful sunrise this was!! It looked absolutely stunning, and also a great approach into Dublin and landing. Thank You✈️✈️✈️✈️
Love your videos. Loved seeing the flight fly into the sunrise, I always seem to have a transatlantic crossing with the sunset. Liked the change. Also I will be watching your PHL/LAS flight tomorrow.
Thank you! Every Transatlantic eastbound I've done has been departing at night with sunrise either a few hours before landing, or even landing before sunrise on some of them. I usually sleep on the flight and wake up once it's already light, so was nice to see the full sunrise on this flight :) I'm doing SFO-LHR next year at midsummer which will get dark for around an hour mid-flight so hopefully daylight departure and daylight landing :)
Never tire of watching this splendid video! I love the flight-crew's attitude, and the landing, in Dublin, wouldn't have spilt a drop of water had I a glass of it, on my head! First-class, all the way! Just a great flight! What I was trying to determine is whether the plane flew over Howth, as it made its final-approach: That beautiful spit of land jutting-out, that looked like beaded velvet. Gotta go to Ireland!
These were my favourite planes to fly in across the Atlantic with American. Used to do the Chicago to Manchester flight often in them! Good memories :)
I was amazed with the sunrise. Normally I sleep throughout eastbound transatlantic flights but with it being so short I was awake and enjoyed watching it :)
The famous aviator, Mssr Charles Lindbergh who flew the Spirit of St. Louis Ford trimotor aircraft in 1927 to Paris Le Bourget, which was the same airport where I flew on a World Airways Boeing 747 via London Gatwick in 1974 to JFK. Mssr Lindbergh also was fond of the Irish landscape and worked with Pan Ams Latin American routes in the 1970s. Godspeed
At 4:45:50, you will see a little blue flame start popping in on the right side of your screen, but you need to be completely in the dark to see it. It's the very beginning of twilight.
I remember watching AA 757s from PHL to DUB and back all the time before Covid, so sad how they were retired along with their A330s, 767s, E-190s, and CRJ200s!
Absolutely watch it slept with it playing and woke up to see a beautiful final and I have to tell u that it's my peace to listen to a full flight at night while I'm sleeping lol surround sound is magic lol
I took that same flight two months and nine days later, although since it was during the busier tourist season, they used an A330 instead of the Boeing 757 (for, I guess, the reasons you explained above).
My question is this, when flying from the USA to Dublin, do the pilots land west to east or east to west ?? The reason I was asking because I saw a body of water right before landing in Dublin. Maybe that was the English Channell or the Atlantic Ocean ??
Depends on the winds at the time. Aircraft generally land with a headwind to make it easier to land. If the airspeed is 150 knots, with a headwind of 14 knots, then the aircraft is only going 135 relative to the ground. Coming to a stop from 135 mph is easier than from 150.
As you were boarding the plane, there flight attendant standing in the aisle putting a bag in the overhead bin. I believe it was Sheila Dail who was one of the flight attendants on US Airways 1549.
As you enter the cabin she is in the aisle to right. She momentarily sits down in an aisle seat to do something. It's on of those serendipitous moments in life.
What an absolute treat! Videos like this help me to address my fear of flying and think about getting back on a plane again. My first transatlantic flight was back in the early 1990s to Shannon, aboard Aer Lingus. I'd love to go back. How did you get the ATC for the flight? Thank you for this!
Thank you for your lovely comment! Glad my videos are helping you, it means a lot to me to hear how they help people like yourself! The ATC for this one was from the archive archives at LiveATC.net :)
Loving this video. Just got started, so I'm sure it's going to be a good flight. You must have had the camera covered up a bit while boarding the aircraft, so I hope the sound improves shortly. Right now, it's realy,... Oh wow! There it is. Fantastic. I love the sound of the 757-200, but it is so cramped for such a long flight. Well, that sounds like AA. I'm surprised you didn't take Air Lingus. Maybe they were more expensive? Anyway, great sound now.
Hi Heather, good to hear from you :) Yep the camera I used for boarding was a cheap action cam I picked up. The video quality is reasonable but the sound is awful, so my apologies for that. I've gone back to using my iPhone now for cabin shots/airport shots. Yep it is very cramped. We were originally booked on an A330 but AA changed the flight to a 757. I chose AA as it meant we could get more flights in (we were headed to/from Vegas).
Can I ask you, What is your job? Im assuming you taking so many flights to diff countries is job related? I do not understand why only outside view for a entire video?
I'm an IT consultant, but solely desk based. All the flying I do is for filming for the TH-cam channel. I usually take one trip a month for filming purposes, very rarely spending more than a few hours at the other end.
Do you ever feel like after all that, you need a break from so much flying? I think I would get so jet lagged and go insane just dealing with the airlines so much.
To be honest the flying is the part where I can sit and relax for a bit. It's the time in between that's crazy - at the moment I'm spending most evenings editing or planning my next flights. It can be tiring but ultimately enjoyable, I get a lot of enjoyment from seeing the end result, and always trying to improve for the next one :)
Nope like I said I only fly for the TH-cam channel so I have to pay for them myself. I try to find cheap deals where/when I can, and of course save money where possible if I can use air miles towards the fare.
I will be doing this flight in October and im worried about the in flight entertainment or even how cramped it can be, do you know when they will get rid of the 757? Yann
They are using the A330-200 on this flight now, and a quick look in October shows it as operated by an A330 so hopefully you will have a lot more room and better IFE than we did :)
+inflight Video its really strange looking I don't mind the picture quality as most the time it's sound effects at night I use the video for although I do like the view sometimes but can't be helped I enjoyed my flight and will be doing so again tonight, as always I appreciate the work that goes into these videos so thank you for taking the time to supply them
How do you edit in the Live ATC feed? i love your video and i love to fly. i try to get two longhauls in a year. This past April i flew SFO to Israel via CDG and in November im flying to BKK from San Jose via LAX and Beijing.
Finding the right feeds is the hard part, then it's a case of trimming out the other traffic and overlaying it in Premiere when I do my editing. It's a long process but worth it, especially when you get turns and engine noise synced to the ATC instructions :)
Thank you so much for this video. Must be the first full non edited trans Atlantic flight on TH-cam with ATC!! I will be flying Icelandair to London from Washington Dulles in November with a stop iin Iceland. Shame you really couldn't see anything after take off. Looks like it rained in Philadelphia was hoping to see NYC.
Thank you, this is my third Transatlantic full flight video on here - I have already uploaded London Heathrow - New York JFK and Dublin-Philadelphia too, and in 2017 I will be filming Frankfurt-San Francisco and back to London Heathrow :). I was frustrated that all we saw of NYC was the glow of the clouds :(. Enjoy your flight with Icelandair!
United offer their 'Channel 9' on some flights that I'm hoping to sample next year on a couple of 747 flights with them. If I'm flying within Europe I sometimes take my scanner and listen in but it takes a lot of advance planning to get all the ATC frequencies researched and programmed in, and even then you can miss handoffs if you're not listening closely.
Thank you! The flight path is from Flightradar24.com, I use a tool I wrote called FR24KML (marshgiddings.com/fr24kml) to export the path to a GPX file and then just overlay it onto a map on my website. The ATC is from the LiveATC archives and synced after the flight :)
Wonderful flight, I did not watch the entire thing, but a good hour of it. So how many batteries do you use on a flight like this ? That 757 will be coming to an end soon, so nice to get a flight on it.
Thank you! I just connect to my USB battery pack that's good for 36 hours :) Yep nice to get on one while they're still around, but not the best aircraft for Transatlantic flying :)
Yep that's the one! It does feel a little cramped, I think the worst part is how busy the cabin gets with just the one aisle, it's like riding a bus for 8 hours :D
HOla, Que camara usas para grabar? la pegas en la ventana? Necesitas autorización de la aerolinea no? Excelente video, para el que necesita perder el miedo a volar.
Hi I love the video,I was just curious if the airline's workers such as the cabin crew ever have a problem with the GoPro on the window? Thank you for the video 👍
Hi there, I use 128GB cards for all of my full flight videos. This one was only around 55GB as it was a relatively short flight. The outbound flight was 9h36m which used about 90GB on the card. Thanks very much for your sub!
Yep, even on my longest flights (LHR-JFK, PHL-DUB) around 4% watch the entire video throughout, which works out to around 11,000 views on LHR-JFK, around 2,600 views on PHL-DUB. Not all of those will be in one go though, a lot of people watch them in chunks over a few evenings :)
OK 2 questions: 1. Sorry for not finding the exact moment - but did the flight attendant whistle at someone when serving breakfast?! That was a bit bizarre.. 2. The PA for landing is really weird, too - there doesn't seem to be a sound before the flight attendant starts talking, and it's done about 10 minutes before landing - pretty late, no? And, as usual - thanks for uploading and editing this video! :)
Yep just dinner and a coffee before landing, and to be honest I would have rather not had the dinner so I could have slept! It's a pretty short flight PHL-DUB, just 5.5 hours.
Love these videos but when your trying to sleep Using these videos the live atc can really get annoying but other than that great video and amazing sunrise
Thank you :) I include the entire flight so people can choose to listen to it for relaxation/sleep purposes, but of course put a link in to skip to the sunrise :)
Just noticed at about 9 minutes the people in front look like they have a big leg space lucky them, I find the ground footage extremely interesting there so much going on we don't think about
Yep a lot more space up front :) Interesting to see some of the things they load in the belly sometimes too, I remember one flight out of Heathrow two armored vans turned up and some guys were loading huge metal cases into the hold, amazing to think what's beneath your feet :D
Amazing how nobody had cameras with OIS to remove camera shake back in 2016. Recent videos are from cameras with OIS and there is zero camera shake while you are walking or placing the camera.
I was looking at using them for my SFO flight but with the situation over there at the moment I'm probably going to wait until it all settles down a bit before heading through IST :)
transatlantic flight in a narrow body is really pushing it! i often fly tel aviv to europe in a narrow body - that' 4 hours and even that is a bit much!!!
ehi..greeting from italy ;) i love your video, i have 2 questions 1 what camera do you use? 2 why every video i heard the talking of pilots? are not service communications i guess
No need for me to skip to sunrise, as this reminds me of international travel over the Atlantic! I love savoring it all...even the hours I'm usually snoozing! Feeling snug & cosy with the jet's engines humming! This is my absolute FAVORITE experience, of all!
Paula Duvall Absolutely I Agree
ENDLESS ENDEAVOURES v jjjjju

Thanks Paula glad you enjoy the video :)
It really is euphoric, besides the uncomfortable seat.
Paula Duvall that’s my favourite type music too
that transition from night to sunrised is just stunning

Yeaaaa.....the SUNRISE is stunning to say the least !!
The only way to get attractiveness best way for-😋😋😋😑😇😂😋😑5😁😇
Absolutely GLORIOUS! Always a pleasure to "travel", with you, Inflight!
Excellent video, as always! Thanks for sharing! Liked!
Thank you! Glad yo enjoyed the video!
This has to be the first non edited Trans Atlantic flight on TH-cam thank you so much
Thank you, this is my third Transatlantic full flight video on here - I have already uploaded London Heathrow - New York JFK and Dublin-Philadelphia too, and in 2017 I will be filming Frankfurt-San Francisco and back to London Heathrow :)
Great video. Flying one of these from Dublin to Charlotte and back at the end of September
Thank you! Hope you enjoy the flight. They are not great to fly on transatlantic, but hopefully yours is in better condition than ours was :)
This TH-cam channel has one of the best full flight videos out there
Beautiful sunrise! I can watch this all day! Thanks for sharing ☺
Thank you for watching! I really enjoyed the sunrise, they never fail to amaze over the Atlantic :)

Thank you for showing this full flight video from the Us I wish I could travel the world like you do

These were my favourite planes to fly in across the Atlantic with American. Used to do the Chicago to Manchester flight often in them! Good memories :)
most beautiful and perfect video in youtube full flights video.....
Thank you, it was a beautiful sunrise :)
I will love to see more inflight videos
Thank You. Been 8 years since I've been in Dublin. It was still the old section. Now I know my way LOL. I'm also now going to save for next trip
Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the flight!
inflight Video I did
I sleep to this video at night. Thank you for sharing. 🛫🌌🎧
I'm glad you like it.
What a stunning sunrise. Great video.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed :)
Hi Noel, I know this video is 5 years old but thanks for posting this awesome flight video. I am from the greater Philly Area. Thank you again.
This is my favorite snooze video. Almost 7hrs of good sleep. The engines are like "Rocka By Baby " sounding 😴
5 hour mark. that sunrise is amazing!
I was amazed with the sunrise. Normally I sleep throughout eastbound transatlantic flights but with it being so short I was awake and enjoyed watching it :)
definitely looks worth staying awake for.

Delta and United still use them. Flew one last weekend
Very cool, love the sunrise!
Thank you :) Transatlantic sunrises are always beautiful :)
Absolutely watch it slept with it playing and woke up to see a beautiful final and I have to tell u that it's my peace to listen to a full flight at night while I'm sleeping lol
surround sound is magic lol
Thank you so much for your comment, glad you enjoyed the flight! Hope you woke up jet lag free ;)
I do the exact same thing it’s just amazing it’s like ur on the plane ✈️
I took that same flight two months and nine days later, although since it was during the busier tourist season, they used an A330 instead of the Boeing 757 (for, I guess, the reasons you explained above).

Great video. It's amazing to see the sunrise. I will look forwards to many more of your videos as always.
Thank you as always :) Transatlantic sunrises never fail to disappoint :). Next full flight in 2 weeks :)
What is your next flight and what will the duration be?
Next video is a Cessna Citation private jet full flight, just 90 minutes long but hopefully you'll enjoy it :)
I enjoy all of your videos so I'll enjoy this one and many more to come in the near future.
Check out my website inflightvideo.tv/videos, I have a list of all the upcoming videos :)
thanks- your the best!
Love the full flights! Thank you for sharing and taking the time to upload them!
Thank you! Glad you enjoy them :)
Really awesome video mate! Liked!
Thank you as always, glad you enjoyed it :)

Time for my nightly flight
As always much appreciated the time and effort in your videos 😊
Thanks Stephanie :)
That's tonight's viewing sorted yay so happy there's a new video, happy travels Xx
Haha enjoy the flight, thank you as always for watching :)
+inflight Video just settled to watch my nights viewing I really appreciate the time and effort you put into these
Awesome, I did the same with this video a couple of nights ago :) Thank you for the comment, Hope you enjoy it!
I’ll be on this exact flight this Sunday 😁
the sunrise was so cool!!!
It's always great seeing sunrises from the sky, especially when you've started the flight in darkness :)
As you were boarding the plane, there flight attendant standing in the aisle putting a bag in the overhead bin. I believe it was Sheila Dail who was one of the flight attendants on US Airways 1549.
Wow thats cool, I hadn't realized, I will go and have a look :)
As you enter the cabin she is in the aisle to right. She momentarily sits down in an aisle seat to do something. It's on of those serendipitous moments in life.
Nice vid bro. The airport looks very beautiful to.
Thank you! DUB is a beautiful airport in the new Terminal 2, Terminal 1 is a bit shabby these days though.
Proud to be Irish, just after landing at Orlando on Virgin Atlantic 787-9 Dreamliner
Awesome, how was the 787?
What an absolute treat! Videos like this help me to address my fear of flying and think about getting back on a plane again. My first transatlantic flight was back in the early 1990s to Shannon, aboard Aer Lingus. I'd love to go back. How did you get the ATC for the flight? Thank you for this!

I like the the cockpit and tower chatter, going to fast forward to sunrise.... I like the option to do that when I need to..
Loving this video. Just got started, so I'm sure it's going to be a good flight. You must have had the camera covered up a bit while boarding the aircraft, so I hope the sound improves shortly. Nope like I said I only fly for the TH-cam channel so I have to pay for them myself. I try to find cheap deals where/when I can, and of course save money where possible if I can use air miles towards the fare.
Why American Airlines do not have big planes like the Boeing 747 or Airbus A380?
I will be doing this flight in October and im worried about the in flight entertainment or even how cramped it can be, do you know when they will get rid of the 757? Yann
They are using the A330-200 on this flight now, and a quick look in October shows it as operated by an A330 so hopefully you will have a lot more room and better IFE than we did :)
Oh sweet, thanks for that info!
Brilliant! Thank you
Glad you liked it!
This video is sooo awsome!!
Thank you :)
Another quality video that I've come to expect from this channel. Love the sound of the old 757 engines, still have plenty of power left in them.
Thank you so much! I hope I continue to live up to expectations ;)
What was that blue flame thing that was under the wings during flight? Engine?
I believe it's the winglet which was lit throughout the flight.
Thank you
Really enjoyed it can I ask what the light was I was seeing in the dark it looked like a candle flickering
Thanks! I think it's the lighting on the winglet, combined with the video quality at night not being fantastic making it look like it's flickering!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video with the ATC. Thanks for your nice comment :)
Cheers!!
6.5 hrs of recording? how much space does that eat up on your memory card?
This one is a baby compared to some of my other 9 hour long haul videos :) Around 60GB for this flight.
How are you able to listen to the ATC while in flight?
Hi, the ATC is added in after the flight from the LiveATC archives.
Ah okay. I was hoping to find a way to listen to mid flight.
United offer their 'Channel 9' on some flights that I'm hoping to sample next year on a couple of 747 flights with them. If I'm flying within Europe I sometimes take my scanner and listen in but it takes a lot of advance planning to get all the ATC frequencies researched and programmed in, and even then you can miss handoffs if you're not listening closely.
what a smooth landing
It was very smooth, and nice to see the tire smoke on touchdown.
Great video thanks for sharing..
Thank you, thanks for watching!
how did you record the ATC audio?
Great video. How canyou get the flight path and the ATC audio?
Thank you! The flight path is from Flightradar24.com, I use a tool I wrote called FR24KML (marshgiddings.com/fr24kml) to export the path to a GPX file and then just overlay it onto a map on my website. The ATC is from the LiveATC archives and synced after the flight :)
Good JOB, Sir.
Oh that's awesome. Is that the Anker Astro battery ? Yeah its not too much fun flying 3 - 3 in economy on a 7 or 8 hour flight.
Yep that's the one! It does feel a little cramped, I think the worst part is how busy the cabin gets with just the one aisle, it's like riding a bus for 8 hours :D
theres a AA 757 flying to ams like a lot
HOla, Que camara usas para grabar? la pegas en la ventana? Necesitas autorización de la aerolinea no? Excelente video, para el que necesita perder el miedo a volar.
I`d love to know how you made this? what equipment/camera do you use and how do you record the atc? 😊
oh I'm sorry; I didn't read the description :D haha
Haha thank you, you've saved me typing it out :D
Hi I love the video,I was just curious if the airline's workers such as the cabin crew ever have a problem with the GoPro on the window? Thank you for the video 👍
Thank you! Just once I had a flight attendant say she thought I couldn't do it so she went to the captain who said it was fine 👍
I didn't hear "radar services terminated". Isn't that what happens when the plane leaves the coast?
I'm not entirely sure. I believe they contact Shanwick Oceanic once they leave Moncton Center, on HF.
thank you for sharing
Are you using 128 gigabytes to film in this video or you need bigger memory card to record it?
Hi there, I use 128GB cards for all of my full flight videos. This one was only around 55GB as it was a relatively short flight. The outbound flight was 9h36m which used about 90GB on the card. Thanks very much for your sub!
I always wonder, has anyone ever watched any of your entire videos from start to finish? Cause you can tell using the analytics feature on TH-cam.
Great video !
OK 2 questions:
How are you able to listen to live atc? I would like to listen too.
A no need flight from skip to open sunrise over the atlantic takes about humming that is about 35 minutes per day in terms of 3 minutes to snooze.
what was the crusing altitude?
Cruising altitude for this flight was FL350/FL360/FL370 on this flight :)
What configuration did you use on the camera ?
Hi, I use it in medium FOV, 1080p/60fps :)
How did you get your camera to constantly record 6 hours worth of footage??
Hi, I use a 128GB MicroSD with an external battery pack good for 36 hours of constant recording :)
@@noelphilips good
Was there only 1 meal during the whole flight?
Yep just dinner and a coffee before landing, and to be honest I would have rather not had the dinner so I could have slept! It's a pretty short flight PHL-DUB, just 5.5 hours.
Love these videos but when your trying to sleep Using these videos the live atc can really get annoying but other than that great video and amazing sunrise
it was kind of unhelpful not being able to see anything for 5 hours. but apart from that. Great video!
Thank you :) I include the entire flight so people can choose to listen to it for relaxation/sleep purposes, but of course put a link in to skip to the sunrise :)
great! love the 757!
Thanks! Me too, but perhaps not for a Transalantic again!
Inflight catching a flight like in 5 hrs to Miami in first class oh yeah great vids bud
Awesome! Hope you enjoyed your flight!
what a short flight for transatlantic! im going to Paris from Chile in a week and that'll be 14hours... I envy americans now hahaha
Yep our flight Philadelphia to Las Vegas was longer than the Transatlantic flight PHL-DUB :) Have a great flight :)
Oh cool over six hours of a flight video
this flight has no ife ? what did you do on this flight ?
Nope no IFE (although there were video screens in the cabin but you could only see them from certain seats). I slept some, and listened to some music.
Have you seen the Austin Bergstrom Airport yet?
No I've not been to AUS. Definitely on the list though :)
+inflight Video Austin great, I live there
Amazing how nobody had cameras with OIS to remove camera shake back in 2016. Recent videos are from cameras with OIS and there is zero camera shake while you are walking or placing the camera.
Any Turkish Airlines coming up in the future?
I was looking at using them for my SFO flight but with the situation over there at the moment I'm probably going to wait until it all settles down a bit before heading through IST :)
Ahhh ok! Better to be safe than sorry.
transatlantic flight in a narrow body is really pushing it! i often fly tel aviv to europe in a narrow body - that' 4 hours and even that is a bit much!!!
Yep it was a bit of a squeeze but the outbound was worse, at 9 hours including the tech delay at DUB.
Amazing thank you very much
Thank you, thanks for watching and commenting! Please check out my other videos and subscribe, I release a full flight every two weeks :)
Great sunrise...
How often do you fly?
It varies, I tend to do a filming trip once every 1-2 months with an average of 4 flights per trip :)
+inflight Video wow
excellent video wahoooo.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it :)
ehi..greeting from italy ;) i love your video, i have 2 questions
1 what camera do you use?
2 why every video i heard the talking of pilots? are not service communications i guess
He used the gopro hero 4 and he has the ATC in the backround
thanks :)
how loong was the flight
Flight time takeoff to touchdown was just 5h41m, less time than my flights Philly to Vegas or JFK-LAX!
