It's great to see this. I'd bet most of us watching your videos are fishing these types of waters and everyone wants to talk about giant reservoirs.. Thanks Mike.

Can you do a river video next? Fishing multi-species such as pike, bass, pickerel, trout etc.

Bro my son and I got into the chain pickerel a couple weeks ago up in this creek , that feeds our local lake , and we must’ve caught 30 of them in a couple hours. It was some of the best funnest fishing I’ve ever had. 3 inch white curly tail grub with a under spin. I guess they were up in the creek trying to do their spawning thing maybe , Central Arkansas here

@@aaron5632018 yeah man, theyre a great time as long as you don't mind some slime on your hands hahaha. Try a black and blue chatterbait in lowlight low pressure situations and a white or light colored in lighter conditions. Sometimes throw one with a small paddletail trailer and it kills the largemouth, pike, and pickerel in the river by me.

At least 20% of us watching pro bass fishermen are bank anglers, at least some pros appreciate it. Thanks Mike. 🗽

Best video I watched this year. Think a large population of fishmen target small ponds and lakes, and this video helps a lot. Cannot love it more!

This is incredibly helpful! As a new angler without tech, this gives me a better chance and a solid start to the local numerous army corps reservoirs most of which are over fished. I never know which bank to cast from or where to place the bank poles.

Love the simplicity Mike. Easy to remember. Good stuff. For us here in Canada, finding clumps of shallow structure along those channels during staging post-spawn is the juice. Thank goodness for waypoints. 😄

Love fishing a wacky rig deep. Just letting it drop down 15, 20 feet. And nailing a monster on ultra lite!! Of course I'm not tournament fishing. That would be crazy. But it sure is fun!!!

Such good info here, thanks Ike!! My main pond doesn’t have feeder creeks, I’m guessing it’s mostly runoff or a spring in the pond somewhere. Not too sure. Still useful info to break it down

Great informative video Ike! Here in South Florida we don’t have the regular four seasons. Instead we have the pre-spawn phase Nov-Jan, the spawn phase that over laps from Dec-Mar, and the post spawn fish from Feb-Apr and then summer from May-Oct 😉

What about small natural lakes and ponds? Like we have in Florida? Many are now feed by storm drains, but that'd only really a difference maker when the rain is steady in summer. Are these a different category?
