Yeah. You have to remember that every single person in that room are along the most gifted singers on the planet. But this song didn’t fit everyone’s style; so it required a few takes to fit in. But man when everyone got their parts right; this was probably the greatest collaboration ever. Unlike the Hell firestorm that came 25 years later with We are the world part 2.

I think in the final version of the music video the Cyndi Lauper portion part is probably the most powerful part of the whole song. She gets all fired up and lets it loose starts like jumping up and down it’s awesome.

Fabulous. Love the way Michael Jackson made such an effort to get dressed up for the performance. I think in the final version of the music video the Cyndi Lauper portion part is probably the most powerful part of the whole song. She gets all fired up and lets it loose starts like jumping up and down it’s awesome.
