SLE is an autoimmune disorder involving multiple organs of the body. It can cause fetal complications like fetal growth restriction, preterm labor, sudden intrauterine death and still birth. The maternal complications include increased risk of pre -eclampsia and thrombosis along with increased risk of maternal death. The management involves multidisciplinary team of doctors. The drugs of choice include Corticosteroids, NSAIDS, Hydroxychloroquine etc.
