your videos are oddly comforting and i have no idea why. but thank you
My partner and i are currently planning a trip to Japan for next year around October time, thankyou for sharing your adventures as its incredibly useful.
The cities in Japan are among the most beautiful in the world. I’ve drawn a wealth of design inspiration from Japanese houses and buildings.
Enjoyed your beautiful journey to Mt. Fuji, Japan. Fun train ride, Panoramic Ropeway to awesome viewage of Mt. Fuji, and cool looking Airbnb. Thanks for sharing this vlog, Zane and Peace!
Japan is absolutely breathtaking...they just need to be careful, a place can slowly lose its charm with overtourism
Japan's walkway for blind people is the best in the world! It's invincible! You can keep an eye on them while visiting Japanese cities.
Your video just made my day! I'm going to Japan in 3 weeks, getting ideas from your Japan videos (including your previous ones). Have fun!
The thing with mount fuji trips is that pre-booking transport/hotels/day-tour can get you screwed over if the weather ends up being shit and there's zero visibility of the mountain. But if one leaves it to the last minute(aka checking weather reports 1-2 weeks in advance) either stuff are fully booked or you'll end up paying absurd prices. A lot of luck factor is involved unfortunately.
Japan is so beautiful 😍😮
what a fun experience
ngl, looking at how touristy the small town around Mt Fuji has become I can see why many locals want to stop the over-tourism. living like that every day flooded with tourists in every supermarket and wandering aimlessly to take selfies, who wouldnt get annoyed? also its less fun when you have 30min-1 hour wait for a small cable car ride, just to see a mountain view? If this is the case we will slip all the tourist traps and just find a nice onsen with a view.
Thanks for sharing your Japan travel. I went to Japan for the 1st time last month, for 2 weeks and solo. I initially stayed in Tokyo (Roppongi), then rode a Shinkansen to Kyoto (Shichigo) for a few days, and down to Osaka (Dotonburi) for a handful of days, and back to Tokyo (Shinjuku). I did and saw many varied things, but I still needed more time to do everything on my itinerary. Yeah, I miss being there and hope to go back again someday.
There were some pretty cool looking campgrounds around that lake when we visited Mount Fuji this summer
It's also an option to get the shinkansen to Mishima from Tokyo then a bus to Kawaguchiko. Great vlog Zane.
Enjoying your video ❤😊
love your vids keep it up
oki doki zane...thanks for showing Mt Fuji in Japan.
Thats it brother, great video! Explore Japan, a lot places to see! Im going next year and try to take all your advices.:)
I can't believe you've met Bambi in pH and now your a couple 😮😂❤
Howdy ZANE!!!! Have Fun Exploring MT Fuji …. Don’t Forget to get Some Fuji Apple 🍎 😂Stay Safe and God bless 🙏🙏🙏
I’ve literally done the same thing in September as well
Cheese and rice cake go well together!
Over tourism. That’s why I now avoid the popular Tourist seasons to go. I’ll be there just after Christmas Day and into the new year.
I heard japan was an empty zombie wasteland deserted and closed for the first two weeks of january so prepare - its peak "no-tourists" season for a reason
@@anon-tlv3399 untrue. The only things that might be closed are museums. I have friends that live there and that’s what they say. The only reason there is tourist seasons in Japan is due to the climate and weather condition of the related seasons. I should know I have been travelling there for 16 years….
@@j1y0ni the first week after christmas a lot will be closed. everyone returns to work a week after.
私も行きたいです!!
Next time wake up early and go see chuerito pagoda!!!
We rented bikes and bikes around all of lake kawaguchi. Highly recommend since it was our favorite memory from our Japan trip. We spent 2 nights in this same area.
My father is from Otsuki, Yamanashi, exactly the same station you got off in this video. Although I never lived there (my father left the area when he was a boy with grandfather), we still go there once in a while like every 10 years, to visit our ancestral graves, and thank the local temple and caretaker who takes care of it etc. Anyway I was surprised by the sheer number of foreign people in this video. Does not seem like Japan lol, but it is good for the local economy I guess.
Im not even sure for the long run that its good for the local economy as it looks lucrative so more businesses rely on tourism and if it drops like in covid or yen too strong it will cause a massive chain reaction of closures.
Ooh my favourite Mos Burger but when in Mt Fuji, one must go to enjoy the Onsen there.
I think finding a secluded onsen and taking a car to it would be so much more enjoyable than the tourist-traps with long queus. thats what we plan to do instead
@@anon-tlv3399 yes I agree and the sandwiched cable car is a no to me. Most hotels on Mt Fuji have onsen.
@@chalayan hotel onsens are ok but also can be crowded if its not a private room bath. I think taking a car to more secluded onsens is better - much less tourists and more authentic atmosphere
@@anon-tlv3399 my family and I went from Tokyo and took a day trip to kyoto and hired a car to take us to a onsen place like in a village and it was nice and quiet.
@@chalayan agree its the best experience. even hiring a taxi is worth it.
후지산 가보고싶어요 😊
Limousine bus is easier. Direct route to Mt. Fuji. Cost is around 2000 Yen.
I also dont understand why he only stayed overnight and not the full day afterwards with taking the world heritage fuji bus they could do much more
美味しそうですね🍣
If you go to Fujiyoshida or Kawaguchiko in Yamanashi, you must eat the famous Fujisan dango, Yamanashi's famous Hoto udon, and Shine Muscat. Oishi Park is also recommended.
There must be hundreds of Mt Fuji photo opportunities, from Lake Kawaguchi for instance, I don't understand why people flood to that Lawsons. I'm guessing it's the quirkiness of it.
The Naruto Ekon❤
Cool
THE NARUTO THEMED TRAINNNNNN
What happened on the gondola
I'm 70 days out from my trip to Japan so I might still have time for the excursion line, what's the name of it?
I really like Zane and the addition of Bambi is fantastic, however sometimes his lack of preparation kind of irks me. That being said I kind of enjoy watching his videos maybe because he doesn’t prepare as much so it’s more natural and free flowing. So many issues he’s encountered over the years could have easily been avoided had he done some research..or just watch someone else’s videos. Nevertheless I’ll keep watching!
I tried some mochi from Asian supermarket in Europe, Japanese Mochi is the best, super soft and smooth texture
thats because in the supermarket its not fresh mochi its processed or the ice-cream types which is not even close to the real mochi. The japanese daifuku are very delicate and are done by hand not processed in packets. The worst of the produced "mochi" are the thai ones which are like chewing gum.
How crowded is it for mid-October?
october fall season and sakura april season are 300% more crowded than any other months. january - everything is closed. february - good choice but can be cold. march-april all hell breaks. june-july - summer was very hot probably in 2025 all japanese will try escape the summer so tokyo-osaka will be very empty and sweaty. sep can be typhoons. oct - all hell breaks for fall. dec - decline of autumn and much colder, christmassy.
Up and about 🧳✈️
The excessively weaker yen is causing over-tourism there... Every time you convert JPY to USD I get shocked.. The yen was much stronger than the dollar when I was there.
what is the name of the payment method you use on your phone? Is it available for android as well?
It's Suica. It works on all iPhones, but only on Androids purchased in Japan because the Android manufacturers don't want to pay the licensing fee. If you use Android, you have to get a physical Suica card instead.
I use Suica on my Android phone, AQUOS wish. Suica Card is not necessary.
you guys look like pewdiepie and marzia
click bait.... thumbnail isn't even the location you went too.
I think Japan is just an overrated destination.
over tourism
Typical Zabe video, 3 minutes in and he has a close up of him stuffing food into his mouth. Who on earth wants to see that!
Haha so many people saying Chinese in the cable car.
and the japanese are not so happy with the influx of chinese tourists and they also buy up whole hotels in these areas.. from what I was told, they are not happy with chinese owning hotels in the lakes.
