    Your video was extremely helpful in really being able to see and how to disconnect the 3 parts underneath the seat. I'm sure we would have broken something if it wasn't for your video. Many thanks!

    Your videos are the best!!! I love the dog & want U to make a video on how to dance. I saw U 2 dance out an other video and think U dance better then a dance teacher. I just learned how to make my van seat a swivel seat,Thanks!!! I love how U explain better then a mechanic. My van started with rust because I did not paint the inside with that black undercoating stuff. Then I painted the wood. Then I put the wood on the doors. But U did it so much better on your van. Thanks for teaching us all how to do it correctly. Please continue to make videos!!!

    There is enough space under the seat for a 'safe', or whatever storage. The wood is beautiful, a helpful hint would be to put ink on a cotton ball or a patch over the potential holes where you will be inserting bolts to fasten the wood panel. The colored patch or cotton ball would mark the back side of the panels on where to drill from the back to the front eliminating guessing. I realize in all things it's one step at a time, but you are making progress in building what you want and how you want it..good things are worth the wait. Thanks for sharing.

      @@sheri4673 Our Promaster had a basic non powered passenger seat and it worked just fine. You could always call the vendor and ensure what you are ordering will fit your year, make, model.
      Ours worked great and it was actually pretty easy and I have very little electrical knowledge. I did my best to show exactly what I did without trying to make it look easier Than it was. I hope your install goes well. Let us know!

    While your in build mode have you considered installiing a hidden engine kill switch to prevent the theft of your new van. They are very cheap and not hard to install! Just a suggestion for a little piece of mind when your away from your van.

      @@CareyOnVagabond No i have not personally! There is a car electronics place where we live that said they would do it for $150. I am getting it done next week to our zion. Usually its just a manual toggle switch that interupts the fuel pump relay. It's much cheaper than an alarm and and less hassel. We thought we would get it done before we overland through mexico this winter.

      @@CareyOnVagabond No need for one due to a code chip imbedded in your RPM ignition key. You can even trip it by removing and and reinserting too fast. You'll see a red "key" tell-tale on the instrument cluster showing an attempted security breech. Clears itself on next on/off cycle because it has read the unique code. That was my first lesson in Italian wizardry!

    • @CareyOnVagabond
      @CareyOnVagabond  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mostly price. Big difference. And I actually like how this one works better. If I was taller I’d probably reconsider as it raises the seat about 1.5 inches. However they also make a shorter seat base you can install and I think you are still below OEM price.
