The Sega Saturn SAROO is basically a FPGA hardware emulation everdrive/flash cart that's open-source a cart project that got it’s start several years ago before going dormant, then being revitalized and ultimately coming to market about a year ago through numerous Chinese vendors on AliExpress and eBay.
I got mine from AliExpress

I can't get this to work - I manage to ABC+Start and get back to the cd player menu, but pressing Start afterwards (or any other combination of button presses) will do nothing. Does anybody else have this issue, and if so, did you find a solution? Running 0.6 firmware on model 1 Japanese Saturn with 1.00 bios. Thanks!
I'm running this through 0.6 firmware and on a model 1 Japanese saturn. You have to do it a few times. On some games this doesn't work. I mainly press the reset button on my console. 0.6 is less prone to SD card corruption.
Out of interest are you using an upscale or is it direct out of the Saturn to your tv?
I'm running this Saturn through my CRT TV

@@medalleg4058 I'm pretty sure the pre-built SD card have shin shinobi den. This is my own built one, and I did include it. Great side-scrolling beat'em'up ☺️. Thanks for watching 👍
