thank you for pumping out content all year reliably Andrew. your short gameplay videos are always fun to watch and my girlfriend has perfected quoting "game review" time by now. happy holidays and keep up the good work!
This game has Yarok in so my hopes are pretty low. Let's hope it's not yet another "value commander is unassuming in the early turns and then becomes insurmountable in the late game"
Fun game to watch! Thanks for the content.. He's a pirate btw Yar!ok, I can't let you go another game calling him Yurik @4:53 it was hurting my fanboy soul lol.. Cheers!
How was the Metalwork Colossus cast for free? It cares about the mv of non creature artifacts, all the lands have 0 mv so they don’t reduce the cost. The relevant ones were the Lattice and the living weapon which only totaled 7. Did I miss something? In the end it didn’t matter, but it was risky to Bosch Trevor’s face with a Chandra at 6 loyalty and a board wipe on the stack to clear away all the pressure. That looked like a fun game overall.
I think you narrated it correctly, but the player played it wrong. He was casting it for free rather than the 5 it should have cost. I’m not sure if the outcome was affected at all, but it’s a lesson for the Bosch player.
For me, Frank reading solemn sad boy was the weirdest part! Thanks Andrew for having a great TH-cam channel! I would like to buy some GoblinGang merch, plans for that in 2021?
How does that Extus deck work with 30 land, and only normal ramp? EDIT: Heavy MDFC Land leverage.... probaly more than i'd be comfortable with - parhaps 2 bouncelands would be better too, so you can reclaim the spells you need too?
Great stuff always enjoy watching the Jersey Boys play magic. Would you be able put out a video with two to three games in one session? Would to see a few games get played with the sane decks. Please bring back Max's Marchesa black rose back 😁
Blood avatar is cool but Decks built around Extus himself are stronger though. On that last turn he made infinite treasures with dockside, so he could have finished the game by sacrificing Extus and then casting the sorcery for infinite blood avatars tokens.
@@clrl936 yeah that's the thing that bothers me somewhat. People usually pick one side to build around and forget they can still use the other one. My Extus deck uses creature side for survivability and value in the early game and sorcery side as a finisher after I attain infinite mana. The commander is at its strongest when you fully utilize both sides
am i the onlyone who thinks that the combo with extus does not work likle in the vid since it is a cast trigger, so you should first pick a target with extus triiger than sac a creature to the spell
Makes me happy to see someone else focusing on that side. Blood Avatar is nice as a finisher, especially once you have Fury Storm in hand, but Extus just feels like the better half of the card to me. Lots of fun loops you can do with Dockside and other cheap value creatures. Get to run an aristocrats deck without relying on a heavy volume of tokens for your sac fodder.
The yarok player was kinda bad, he kept casting yarok for no reason, even after he untapped with it, he played no etb creatures, he didn't even attack with him to gain life, and he tutored a rift to just never cast it :P
Kind of a weird Zurgo deck. Why even have him as a commander if you're not gonna attack with him. Maybe a cheaper Mardu commander that doesn't need to attack would make more sense, like Mathas, Fiend Seeker.

Happy Holidays!
4 hyper aggressive commanders and a 14 minute video? This one's gonna be spicy!
Interaction ( :
Solid game! I'm surprised that T6 Cyclonic Rift never hit the table. Definitely could have changed the game!
I love watching the Jersey boys the most. Always keen on building Trevor’s decks, love Harry’s combo decks and Matt’s Bosh is amazing!
Trevor is the GOAT
Cool game. Loved seeing Extus as a reanimator kind of thingy and I'm really curious about what Bosh can do in games.
Frank never got a chance to Bojuka Bog Matt's graveyard.
A tragedy I'm sure
This game has Yarok in so my hopes are pretty low. Let's hope it's not yet another "value commander is unassuming in the early turns and then becomes insurmountable in the late game"
Well it cost 9 by the end of the game
people actually played removal this game
Playing the two mountains before the tapped land on turn 3. Ouch
Reminds me of feather land sequence misplays by Tomer
Simple, I see mardu I like and watch. Especially if it’s the almighty world slayer himself. Zurgo
Sees Zurgo in the title, "this must be a Trevor game"
Oh joy an interactive game ( :

Got the same tokens from a kickstarter as Harry does. Love them.
Man almost hit the fabled Lattice Dockside. Nice

Free may have been an oversimplification on my part. It cost much less. Sorry for the confusion!

Looks a lot like my Extus deck! Worthy cause is one of my favorite cards in the deck. I just wish dockside was cheaper so I can put it in my deck.
Every time I see Zurgo, Elesh Norn or Freyalise, I know it: Jersey Boys game. :)
Ah, Harry is a man of culture... that Phage is spicy
Does Harry have a list for that Extus deck somewhere? I have that deck in Arena brawl and want to convert to paper.
It should be in the video description!
For me, Frank reading solemn sad boy was the weirdest part! Thanks Andrew for having a great TH-cam channel! I would like to buy some GoblinGang merch, plans for that in 2021?
Why did Trevor draw when he went first? Before he puts his land down, he has eight cards in his hand. Am I missing something?
you alway draw on your first turn in commander
@@ludwigfleischhacker3673 Oh ok. Still new at Commander. Thanks.
@@southernxsouth4729 Only if it's a group. One on one the first person doesn't draw.
I don't understand the combo, someone explain me?

lmao, love the Yarok decklist
Why cudnt bosh sacrifice another artifact at the end so the dockside doesn't get net positive mana?
I guess it didn't really matter since net positive mana wasn't needed to win if he just loops it continuously
Yo mcflow
He could have been hoping to draw a land before playing the tap land.. Saving it for a draw later on.
considering the combo does not work, nice game but watching the extus cast trigger resolving after the whit spell hurts
LETS GOO MORE ZURGO GAMES!
Great stuff always enjoy watching the Jersey Boys play magic. Would you be able put out a video with two to three games in one session? Would to see a few games get played with the sane decks. Please bring back Max's Marchesa black rose back 😁
Got excited when I saw Someone playing extus, but he NEVER used the blood avatar side…..😰

Frank, we want the Yarok list.
Papa Frank has blessed us: tappedout.net/mtg-decks/dr-double-etb/

or is the sac an add cost?
it is. my bad
Wait... Someone actually played the Extus side of Awaken the Blood Avatar...

Let's go bosh
Couldn't Yarok have blocked the germ with swords and lived? Everything was colorless due to the lattice.
The yarok player was kinda bad, he kept casting yarok for no reason, even after he untapped with it, he played no etb creatures, he didn't even attack with him to gain life, and he tutored a rift to just never cast it :P
Frank here, thanks man.
looks like Harry got.... shaved
i like the music, but could you sometimes try a new one? It almost always the same 3 songs.
Yep! I'm in the process of finding more open source music.

its time to finally ban dockside extortionist
Was a good game until the last turn. But tutoring for a combo win is so boring.
You're pronouncing Extus wrong. It's Ex tus not Ex a dis.
Good to know! Thank you.
@@MTGMuddstah probably could have been a little nicer with how I said that so I'm sorry. Love your videos man!
I hate to be that guy (even tho It probably doesn't change the outcome of the game) zhalfrin void comes in Tapped. Future reference
Why does it come in tapped?
please read the card again
Don't think it's a dual coloured temple and I don't see any Thalia style hatebears out there.
I don't care if I am alone in saying it but jersey boys games aren't enjoyable to watch
Frank here, no one asked.
...but you cared enough to comment
