Why do so many football fans think this helps Liverpool or puts Chelsea at a disadvantage? Do they really think clubs would allow this or managers would agree to it if it could jeopardise their chances? There is no top flight professional football club that doesn't already know every single thing discussed here. Any tactical backroom staff at any top flight club who play against Chelsea that doesn't already know these things should be out of a job. This is basic stuff for anyone doing a report on upcoming opposition. So many fans just don't know anything beyond the surface of the game.

This man has been given a squad of random players and young players who can’t stay consistent. No manager would be doing a better job. Put some respect on Poch his Tottenham team was smoking teams for years and never got given large transfer budgets like the teams around them at that time. He turned half of Southampton squad into England internationals. Chelsea fans need to get used to that fact your crap now 😂😂

The players don't fear/respect him. They are just happy to be in London. He is not putting enough fear into the players. A manager's job is to use what he's given to get results. He lost something after the Spurs job and never got it back at PSG. It seemed like he took that job at the wrong time. Kinda like going for a 6 after breaking up with an 8-10.

Palmer's freedom has worked out wonderfully. Middle of the league table and losing a final against kids. Maybe he should try a new strategy that works as one that brings success should be the objective, not pleasing the media who over hype how good Palmer is. Palmer is so way over rated. He’s the media pet at the moment but as a Chelsea fan I can only say, yep, he’s good but not exceptional. Today he was nowhere and did nothing, in fact he gave the ball away more times than I can remember. Maybe he’s isolated in that wing position and might be more suited in the number 10 spot, but today he was very ineffective apart from one through pass to Gallagher which to be honest any good pro would make.
