I really love this shampoo for my starter locs. The nozzle is so convenient and the formula easily moves all over my scalp. I keep my house air conditioned, so the shampoo is even colder thanks to the aloe in it. I love it so much because it cleans my locs, even though I band them together when I wash them. It doesn’t strip my hair or scalp but it leaves a really clean feeling.
I've been using this since I started my locs in April 2020. I love it. I don't find that it's too drying, but I don't wash my hair weekly anymore either. I notice that my hair is shiny after I use it.
I have been using this for about 4 months on my starter locs(interlocks). It cleans great but I noticed over time my scalp was a little dry. I'm new to all this.
I think since it's a clarifying shampoo, it may be why you are experiencing dryness. So far, I have only used this twice and I haven't experienced scalp dryness yet. I have been using Carol's Daughter Goddess Strength 7 Oil Blend Hair & Scalp Oil as well. It helps me a lot. I also plan to alternate this shampoo with my usual shampoos which are not clarifying.
This is an awesome suggestion. I've been washing my locs that way for 5 yrs & it even saves on water since you can start at the sink. Then you can spend adequate time in the shower for a thorough rinse
hey Keisha! do you always shampoo the full length of your hair when you wash? are there times when you mostly focus on just shampooing the scalp? & also about what size in inches are your parts? I've been thinking about starting locs with braids and found your channel, I really like the size of your locs! I want them to be small but not teeny tiny.
Hi! Thank you!! I try my best to wash the lengths, but I do tend to focus on the scalp. I tried to make my parts about 1/4 inch I believe, but some are bigger in the back and some are smaller than that in the front.
You will waste your money if you are doing it this, next time please properly wet your hair and let it drip down your scalp to add more coverage 😉. I am not trying to be mean when I say this so please don't take it the wrong way ,thank you.
Thanks! In the video I mentioned that I needed to wet my hair more and that was the problem. But to be honest, I've been using the rose version of this shampoo for 2 yrs now and no matter how soaked my hair is, it still takes up to 2-3 tries before I can get even a little foam....🤷🏾♀️ Still love the shampoo though

Yes I love the nozzle! SO helpful! And I agree, it does a great job cleaning without stripping. It's definitely one of my new favs.

I really like it as well! I wish I had known about it sooner!
I love this line

Wow I think I will use this. Thank you 😊
Have you ever tried putting your shampoo in a spray bottle? Add a little water so that it will apray.
I haven't tried that but I may give it a try. Thank you!

This is dope! Keep going!
Thanks Ray!! 😁
I did try the shampoo because of you. What are your thought on the conditioner?
I actually don't use conditioner on my locs, but it seems interesting. I've been really enjoying the rosewater version of this shampoo though
