    When I owned my natural hair salon in 2006... that Nappy Loc tool was my best friend. I had them in every size. Thank you for a great video!

    I feel like this is still a four point rotation except two of those rotations go in the same direct, thus making those two rotations essentially one. Very interesting 🤯 Beautiful braidlocs 💖

      Enter at 9 exit at 3, enter at 6 exit at 12, enter at 9 exit at 3, and enter at 12 exit at 6 for loosely curled hair pattern #3pointrotation according to Kreyola's Journey blog.

    I’m preparing myself for starting my own locs by starting with a single loc in the back. I will likely start with twists but interlock for maintenance.
    However in the back my hair will likely have to be braids cause of the likelihood of them getting loose.
    Anyways, I’m saying that to say that this was SUPER helpful in my understanding of how to interlock my little loc in the back AND I’ll for sure be using it in the future once I start on the rest of my head 💛

      Thank you! I have before, but I think it was from my own error. I have so many locs, so of course I may make a mistake. Sometimes it happens, but not often.

      @@kraxykam7242 It's an easy fix, but hard to explain in text. But I found plenty of TH-cam videos that showed me how to fix them. It's very simple

    Very nice video. Since the start...how often do you retighten your locs? Every 8 weeks from the start? Does that change overtime, or is every 8 weeks about average for retightening?

    I used that tool when I had to do my own retie during the salon closings, after receiving virtual instructions from my consultant.

    How do you keep your hair hydrated after washing? How do you know which size tool to use on your locs?

      Hi! I just use plain water mostly to keep my hair hydrated. I try to spray it daily. Occasionally, I'll use rosewater, but not often. I use the small nappy locs tool.

    Can you please make a video about your grid pattern. It is different than sisterlocs. How did you decide your grid? What is your grid pattern throughout your head? A tutorial on how we can get the same grid pattern. Why did you choose that pattern? Pros and cons about your grid pattern.

      Sure!! I've been wanting to do a video covering that, but I've been having a hard time trying to figure out the best way to cover the topic. I will say, I tried to follow the sisterlock grid. I goggled photos and used that as my guide. My "grid" however isn't perfect, but I'm completely fine with that. Hoping to get a video up soon though!

      You could comb them out, but it would take a long time. Most people cut theirs

      Because I'm lazy and take a lot of breaks, I devote a day or 2 to doing it. If I sat down and didn't stop, it usually takes me maybe 7-8 hours. I'm getting faster, but I'm still slow lol. It's best to just break it up by days. After a while, my neck gets tired. lol

      Yes! It's so much easier in the shower and t-shirts are way better than linty towels.

      I usually take my time and take alot of breaks(eat, clean, go somewhere if needed, etc.). I try to split it over 2 days depending on what time I start.

      Hi!! I think I only mentioned it quickly. I like using the 3 pt over 4 because it gives a fluffier looking loc while 4 gives a tighter look to your locs. I never considered doing 2 point, but I assume it would also make the locs even more fluffy than 3 or 4. Hope that helps!

      I try to make sure it's clean, but I guess I never paid attention to whether it was "squeaky clean". In the past, I focused more on the scalp . Now, I'm trying to focus on the length a little more because I hadn't before.

      People telling me to smile is actually one of my pet peeves. I know you probably meant well, but your comment missed the mark and doesn't feel like a compliment at all. I'm both pretty when smiling or when not smiling.
      I created this video to show others how I interlock my hair. I made sure to focus on making an informative video. Not to be "pretty". I hope you were able to find this video helpful. 👍🏾
