Easily the most indolic jasmine I've come across! Love the stuff though, used to loathe it but it's one that you come round too esp as you get into perfume more n more. It's so Flippin dirty for the first hour until the indols burn off lol. Great vid tom!
The only Lush I own is Vanillary, and I think that one is a jasmine bomb as well, just more foody :) I think it's hard to smell them properly in-store what with all the lushyness surrounding you. Always good to see you and also Happy Belated Birthday!
Lust is my favourite perfume. I really used to like Be Never too busy to be beautiful but they went out of business:(( Totally agree that if you don't like Jasmine, don't go near this perfume. It has depth as you say. I can't smell the Vanilla, which is good because I don't really like it. Totally agree, put it on for an hour before leaving the house, or people will pass out
I really miss BNever, such a beautiful shop...although it was really pricey but..the smell of that shop was incredible. 1000 kisses deep was my fave fragrance by them which luckily lush still sell online.

Well, my bottle finally arrived. I like it. It is rather unique in my collection. I perceive a strong indolic jasmine throughout. I also perceive a lot of smokiness, and in the deep dry down, I detect a caramel note. Anyone else perceive caramel in this fragrance? Could it be an illusion created by the ylang-ylang? I do not detect ylang-ylang per se, though, and I do not detect either rose or sandalwood. This is jasmine, smoke, and caramel on my skin.

Yes it's glass underneath. It wouldve been better if they used black glass or just plain clear glass (Black blocks sunlight which can break down fragrance molecules. But I hate that it flakes off!)
Yes its kinda of annoying. It's better to have opaque bottles but I think glass ones looks so much prettier hehe. Luckily I don't get much direct sunlight in my room. Hmm..now I'm wondering if I should try and scratch off the paint haha. :)
My good man, i finally had time and stop at Lush , and oh my stars !!!! i tried Lust, you were 100% right, jasmine overload lol in your face the mother of all jasmine . Very powerful , in time the scent became more subtle but....working in an Alzheimer's unit i couldn't possibly wear it at work and i work a lot...unfortunately lol But i discover Lancome Tresor nuit i think it is called...wow...i'm in love with it, i do wear the original Tresor but this new one ? a dream, one day maybe you can do a review on it, i'm sure i'll have it in my collection by then :) i'm working on it :)

No perfume can accurately capture the smell of real flowers. Imho. I adore flowers and always surround myself with all kinds of flowers inside and all over my property and no I don’t think this smells like jasmine. Well not on my skin at least. I get a strong dirty citrusy scent. I just had a friend give me her old Lust bottle she bought 5 yrs ago in the old bottle with the original formulation and wow it is a lot different than the one they currently sell. The older one is much better. More complex, not as insulting to the nose, but still very strong. I’m gonna give the new one away and keep the old one. Give it more time, see if I can grow to love it.
Elisabeth well there are different kinds ofJasmine，this one smells like those oriental ones especially like Jasmine Tea.We do eat and taste it some times

Indole overload, lol. I get the 'vampire' vibe in it. Although the indolic opening is too strong for me, I have to say it's quite brilliant and a unique biting jasmine. For the moment I can deal with the indoles in A La Nuit, hopefully in the future I can deal with Lust too. :D

KingPharroh Hmmm quite different. Where the Jasmine in Samsara smells more refined and crisp, this one is rougher. This is basically a soliflore I would say so, this is more of an in your face Jasmine, really full bodied and bold. The jasmine in Samsara meshes in with the sandalwood so..it's a more "beautiful" Jasmine. This is a beast!
I hope you vlog when your in New Zealand. If you go to Rotorua with all its thermal activity and smells like rotten eggs to everyone I can't wait to see your amazing nose react bahaha

I smelled this in store a couple of months ago for the first time... I thought it smelled like a woman's hole...aroused. Then I let my boyfriend smell it (without saying the name of it or what my nose scented), he said it smelled like an a-hole. Couldn't stop laughing, had to get out of the store because I more or less peed my pants from laughing :D

ouch110 Yes it was expensive, but the fab jewel encrusted eyeshadows and as you say the smell. I could have lived happily lived there!

I would say yes!! But put the solid on first?? hmm. I've never thought of layering a solid with a liquid. Interesting. :)

Lust is perfect per layering! I layer it with Fracas or Alien or Gucci Bloom or Classique .... Always an amazing mix
