The funny thing about being a fan at the time of big bang is that we got content, but phones weren't making great videos or pretty much not allowed. So there wouldn't be many pictures or fancams.
Also for international fans it was hard getting merchandise or cds. TH-cam was the only source of getting music, or ripping cds on the internet. Big bang was one of the first kpop groups to be sold on US iTunes which was HUGE.
As someone from that time, it was a great time being a kpop fan. (Look into the history of lightsticks, cause gdragon came up with the crown and it was able to be sold)
1000% this. i remember all of that. i was bummed i didn;t get any footage of the 2015 made tour because it wasn't allowed

I saw the other day that GD had a 24 song set list for his solo Act III: MOTTE World Tour. Seems incredible that he could do that in one night, let alone for 36 shows!

You should check out their 0 to 10 concert series. It's their 10th year anniversary concert. Japan or Seoul tour it doesn't matter. It's got some of the best Kpop live performances I've ever seen, hands down. Simply flawless. Not many concerts I watch on TH-cam can send chills to me.. Imagine witnessing it live.. DAMN

So so glad you checked out Big Bang. Taeyangs Kpop group. Each one of the members is so talented and individual. Thats why they do not have synchronized dancing. They can do it and have done so in their really early days, but even when synchronized, they still keep their individual flavour and influence thats why they are called the Kings of Kpop and each are Superstars............ And their vocals, wow, NO one is better than them when they are in the groove. They won Best Vocal Group Performance at MAMA 2022 for a 3 minute song that they never sang live or promoted in any way................ it still remained in the top 10 of best Kpop songs for 2022 after a hiatus of 5 years...... That is how big and respected they are in the Kpop Industry.
