If you look carefully at the boy he has eyebags at the beginning of the mv 8:01 and in majority of the mv one of his eyes remain hidden which is used to show his insecurities, the masked man is supposedly the "best" version of himself he has both of his eyes open, is all suited up looking professional and loved by everyone but he remains behind the mask apart from the masked self he has two other selves and they all are in conflict. At 8:25 you can see three hands showing the conflict is about who gets to be the primary self and the others are all regarded as secondary. In the end 10:43 it is shown how they come to an agreement and how the boy refuse to put on the mask at 11:04 following that 11:09 we see how he has learned to be happy with himself without the masks based on his expression and the masked self expression also you can notice that both his eyes are open at this point. As you like it was my gateway to E ve and it is also one of my favourite songs ever. That guitar riff at the end gets even better after understanding the story of the song mixed with the superb visuals. Hey, you should check out yorushika. they are a really good group(?), it consists of the singer suis and composer n-buna. their earlier albums like ‘elma’ and ‘why i gave up on music’ has a similar style but still very good. in my opinion some of the most fun guitar riffs that are super catchy and then they have album ‘plagiarism’ which is completely different style to their other songs. like a lot of the songs were very bassy and had a darker tone like ‘prostitution’ and ‘thought crime’. the singer and eve actually had a couple of colabs for two songs ‘uchuno kisetsu’ and ‘heikousen’
The fact you compared the muscial arrangement of Eve to Dance Gavin Dance has me so happy. The two are fra and beyond some of my favourite artists, with Eve and Tilian having such unique vocal sound and the music and instrumentation being so constant and rapid throughout their songs. The main character of the MV is a main-side character in the manga. As far as I read it has a really interesting concept, and you might want to read it! I wish I can tell you the title, but it's been years since I read it and I forgot :"(. I found the title of the manga from the comments under the MV though, so you might find it if you scroll down and read the comments!

YES!!!!!!!! You did EVE! I am so on the same page. Eve & Kenshi were unexpected finds, but I devour their music. They just fill different vibes for me, so they're on equal like-ability. I would recommend Anoko Secret. It comes up a lot on yt music when I'm at the gym & is a good bop for jogging. The PV is pretty cute too!

I’d recommend checking LEO, Kokoro Yohou, and Yamiyo out, they are my favourites out of all their songs so far. I came across this video a couple of times on my recs and never got to watch it until now. Completely agree with what u said btw Eve is truly such an amazing artist I haven't seen it recommended in the comments much but u should definitely listen to some of his older songs like wakusei loop, sister, and demon dance tokyo. I think they're just equally as good as his more popular and recent songs, though I would like to bring up about how different he sounds from his older songs to his more recent ones. The way he sings in older songs feels more raspy and "aggressive" like in a way(?) I'm not too sure on how to describe it but you'll see what I mean if u try to compare his voice then vs his voice now. In more recent songs, his singing sounds more well-rounded and refined in my opinion Overall Eve is really a wonderful artist and I'm glad u got to react to his songs. Looking forward to more potential reaction videos in the future
I love when people react to Eve! My favorite songs are: How to eat life, don‘t repeat the boredom and Tokyo Ghetto. And I highly recommend the movie „Adam by Eve“ on Netflix. Eve himself directed that movie and its an amazing watch!
Sheesh, Eve is such a talented artist and I'm super glad you sorta found them through JJK's opening because that was some great exposure for them to reach an even wider audience! I was SO excited when I tried out the anime and immediately was like "oh wait, that sounds A LOT like Eve..." My highest recommendation I can give for any of their music is Tokyo Ghetto! It's the one song of theirs I find myself constantly going back to far more often than most anything else, absolutely stellar in my eyes.

You should do We're Still Underground if only for the visuals, but also Yuseiboushi (living idly and dying as if dreaming) or Yoruwakonoka. Last Dance and Tokyo Ghetto are also really great. If you want something a little different, Shinkai and Aisai are both some softer songs by him that are fantastic and I can't recommend enough.
For E ve, Last Dance has to be my favorite! Beyond that, Miyashita Yuu would be a really unique artist to check out. Their range is crazy, id describe them as Mafumafu on steroids.
Although Vocaloid fandom is indeed going 'calmer', Vocaloid definitely is one of the backbone for JPOP songs. Like this Dramaturgy has the Hatsune Miku version. A lot of big Vocaloid Producer and Utaite ended up with bigger gigs especially in Japan. I would love for you to react to some other VocaloP in your future videos if you're down for it! :D
The song that introduced me to Eve years ago was Tokyo Ghetto, and it holds a real special place in my heart. It has a lot of influence on the How To Eat Life song as well, so I highly recommend watching it too at some point.

I love your reactions to Japanese music! Idk how you feel about the more indie rock stuff but just in case I'd like to recommend Saucy dog. They have some really nice songs like itsuka, yui, cinderella boy and yasashisa ni afureta sekaide!
If you haven't heard of them yet, I think that you might also enjoy Ling Tosite Sigure and/or TK from Ling Tosite Sigure (his solo work which includes the iconic Unravel from Tokyo Ghoul). It's all amazing, creative and atmospheric! I think a few of their songs were also used in the opening and ending for the anime Psychopass!
An artist that I recently found and absolutely love is Syudou, if you haven't, you should absolutely try some of his songs. I personally recommend Gambling, In the back room, Handle with care and Antithesis you, they're amazing, hope you listen to them in the future.
You really should listen to Outsider, Last Dance, Nonsense Literature. They're all in the same universe as Dramaturgy (all of these have an underlying story that are actually really deep and fun to understand). Something like We're Still Underground and Raison D'etre are also absolutely awesome. Though if there were two I'd like for you to listen to, it'd be Last Dance and Tokyo Ghetto. I really love the energy you bring with your reactions!! I’ve been following E ve for a long time and it’s fantastic they’re getting more well known. I’d recommend checking LEO, Kokoro Yohou, and Yamiyo out, they are my favourites out of all their songs so far.
Another artist I’d love to see you react to is Miyashita Yuu, he’s an utaite that I’ve also been a long-time fan of, he puts in an immense amount of hard work to his covers. Recommendations would be Wozwald, Unknown Mother Goose, Non-Breath Oblige, Kilmer, Kirin ga Shinu Made (and so much more!)

I came across this video a couple of times on my recs and never got to watch it until now. Completely agree with what u said btw Eve is truly such an amazing artist
I haven't seen it recommended in the comments much but u should definitely listen to some of his older songs like wakusei loop, sister, and demon dance tokyo. I think they're just equally as good as his more popular and recent songs, though I would like to bring up about how different he sounds from his older songs to his more recent ones. The way he sings in older songs feels more raspy and "aggressive" like in a way(?) I'm not too sure on how to describe it but you'll see what I mean if u try to compare his voice then vs his voice now. In more recent songs, his singing sounds more well-rounded and refined in my opinion
Overall Eve is really a wonderful artist and I'm glad u got to react to his songs. Looking forward to more potential reaction videos in the future

Sheesh, Eve is such a talented artist and I'm super glad you sorta found them through JJK's opening because that was some great exposure for them to reach an even wider audience!
I was SO excited when I tried out the anime and immediately was like "oh wait, that sounds A LOT like Eve..."
My highest recommendation I can give for any of their music is Tokyo Ghetto! It's the one song of theirs I find myself constantly going back to far more often than most anything else, absolutely stellar in my eyes.

You should do We're Still Underground if only for the visuals, but also Yuseiboushi (living idly and dying as if dreaming) or Yoruwakonoka. Last Dance and Tokyo Ghetto are also really great.
If you want something a little different, Shinkai and Aisai are both some softer songs by him that are fantastic and I can't recommend enough.

Although Vocaloid fandom is indeed going 'calmer', Vocaloid definitely is one of the backbone for JPOP songs. Like this Dramaturgy has the Hatsune Miku version. A lot of big Vocaloid Producer and Utaite ended up with bigger gigs especially in Japan. I would love for you to react to some other VocaloP in your future videos if you're down for it! :D
The song that introduced me to Eve years ago was Tokyo Ghetto, and it holds a real special place in my heart. It has a lot of influence on the How To Eat Life song as well, so I highly recommend watching it too at some point.

I love your reactions to Japanese music! Idk how you feel about the more indie rock stuff but just in case I'd like to recommend Saucy dog. They have some really nice songs like itsuka, yui, cinderella boy and yasashisa ni afureta sekaide!
If you haven't heard of them yet, I think that you might also enjoy Ling Tosite Sigure and/or TK from Ling Tosite Sigure (his solo work which includes the iconic Unravel from Tokyo Ghoul). It's all amazing, creative and atmospheric! I think a few of their songs were also used in the opening and ending for the anime Psychopass!
Highly underrated but I super recommend you check out "Leo" by him, it's one of my favourites
An artist that I recently found and absolutely love is Syudou, if you haven't, you should absolutely try some of his songs. I personally recommend Gambling, In the back room, Handle with care and Antithesis you, they're amazing, hope you listen to them in the future.

You really should listen to Outsider, Last Dance, Nonsense Literature. They're all in the same universe as Dramaturgy (all of these have an underlying story that are actually really deep and fun to understand). Something like We're Still Underground and Raison D'etre are also absolutely awesome.
Though if there were two I'd like for you to listen to, it'd be Last Dance and Tokyo Ghetto. Tokyo Ghetto is my absolute favorite
