I went online to www.texas.gov/dlrenewal and paid $22.98 from my card for I thought my driver license but turned out to not be. I don't know who got my monies, but it was not renewed after waiting over a month. I will go locally in person and not be fleeced again by this agency representing themselves. Thank you!

I simply want to replace a lost license. I have all the information except the audit number. Why is this required when I have ALL the other information including my correct D.L. number. Other than the driver's license, where would I find the required audit information?
Why is it when I send it to me email? The pdf is password protected! I was never given one! It is not mentioned at all in the video! How can I print out my temporary DL while waiting weeks for mine?

You know I was just sitting here thinking about it why can't we do all of this online. Fix you think of the tax dollars that you could save don't have to rent all of these buildings don't have to buy all of this electronic equipment and computers just do it online. Course probably all that would happen is then the government would have to figure out what what are we going to do with all of his tax money. We can't tell him we're spending it on this and that and the other thing. I got it do more road construction inconvenience the general population a little more

I did the same thing! I called and requested my money back. I got an email stating that my refund had been issued.
Probably just an admin error. That is a gov't site, no one was trying to pull one over on you.
