- In this video I drive my 1990 S10 with a twin turbo LS stroker 408 to the drag strip and try to dial it in to a 8.50 in preparation for sick summer drag and drive!

damn thats one clean unit man. It obviously looks quick but not that quick at 1st glance. That truck will get down.
Killer HOTROD! She’s a runner for sure.
Most def a good weight reduction on the shoes fornthe truck. Good walk thru on the truck... great content..keep em comin 💰💨💨
Amazing times…. that thing is flying.
love the paint
Thank you! It's not perfect anymore but it still shines!
Glad this showed up for me. Ive wondered whos truck it eas since the Christmas tree race. Very cool twin turbo setup. Theres not many of them out there that aren't all hacked up. Congrats on the pass, look forward to seeing you on sick summer coverage.
Thanks man!!
Why did you not try to go faster on your second pass by adding more power versus staying with the same tune-up you did 1st round that you already knew how fast It was?
I know you let out a little early, you still knew what u had and could have gone ahead and adjusted like you would have 3 rounds, but accomplished a 3rd round run on the second round. Just wondering, seemed like a missed opportunity. A course we do not know all the circumstances. So I am going on what is known from watching which is not too much with what all is at play when racing
Very clean ride congrats!!
Thanks man!
Dude that’s a killer build👍🏻

Southwick FTW

🔥🔥🔥🔥
What radiator and fan setup are you running? Manual gearbox for steering?
I couldn't even tell you want radiator it is or what it came out of. It's just a universal radiator I found and made work. And yes on manual steering box
@@DirtyDurbsRacingawesome thanks, did you just diy a steering shaft to eliminate the rag joint
How much boost ?
Roughly 20psi
What’s the length on that rear end?
The width is factory width
@@DirtyDurbsRacing got ya. Ty!
Do you know the weight of your s10?
It's roughly 3200lb with me in it I think. I haven't had it on scales since I've made some changes
@DirtyDurbsRacing could you do a walk around video on the s10 some time? I also have 90 and am looking for ideas
It's beautiful but why use skinny front tyres on the streets?
160mph with tiny brakes and no grip?
Can't you just switch tyres / rims at the track?
You could probably have fun on some twisty sections...... maybe turn the boost down a little though!
This truck is not built to go on curvy roads. Although wide tires would help, it would slow it down tremendously. And my brakes working absolutely flawlessly, they are also designed to be lightweight.
What headers are you using? Stock steering or rack and pinion? My drivers side header is interfering. in my build. Thanks!
I use the UP-AND-FORWARD headers, I had to move my steering over 3/4 inch to clear
Monte carlo
😎🫡👍👍👍👍
Beautiful truck , fast , but very stupid having your helmet off and still on the track ,
Thanks! But also I don't think driving 50mph on a track it's stupid at all. In fact, I've often been 160+ on the streets with nothing on lol so doing that is the absolute least of my worries.
lol you ant got nothing on SRC lol
What makes you think that?
Whens the last time you saw them drive a s10 to the track and drive it home?
Need wheelie bars, don't wanna go breaking parts from doing too big of wheelies.
