Thank you. I need to install a back pressure sensor so I know when the 78/75 is out of its efficiency range. It has the 1.25 exhaust housing. I’ve only had it up to 20 psi. Have you maxed one out? I know this will vary based on the set up and how much back pressure is in the hot side. Love what you do, thank you for the kind words.
Dope ass build brotha 💪🏽 question I pretty much have the same setup but about to swap to a th400 from a t56. First time having an auto, I was wondering if all the pressure sensors are a must have I know I need a temp sensor for sure. Thanks brotha
@@BoWhiteRacing you’ve done one nice job with that truck. I have a 2010 with a big block in it it’s just an old hot rod just something to cruise around but you’ve done a really nice job with a truck.
Hello friend, I need your help, please, I am currently doing the same project, completely the same down to the same camshaft. I need help, could you tell me what headers to use for your project?
Here is the link to the one I got. It has a short neck not a long one. www.ebay.com/itm/284460838064?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Tk9jWpUFTIy&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=KIGSMUX4SoW&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Well I traded a turbo LS S10 for this truck and then sold the SBC and build it for around $10,000. Then I sold/traded this truck for a S10 I’m building now.
@BoWhiteRacing I just want a nice little street truck to play with. Don't really want to mess with a tune or all the wiring for a ls. I like to do a 400 sbc. 350 turbo. Good gear.
one of the cleanest build Ive ever seen. big inspiration
this is a really nice build! awesome job!

@@BoWhiteRacing the biggest 7875 i have done 930whp with and never again haha most are in the 800-880 range maxed (locked 80e)
@@SloppyMechanicswill the 7875 be fine at 12-15 pounds
You have made a bunch of changes, appreciate you going over the current setup!
Plan to make a lot more this winter. Thank you.
What a sweet build!! Thanks for sharing all the info on such a cool truck!
Great job with the build. Very tidy.
Great overview. Only thing I didn't hear was how much boost pressure to run the 5.80. Awesome clean simple setup to run that fast
It was 15 psi then I hit the scramble and it went to 18 psi in high gear.
Amazing build 😍
Bo,...... you running a manual steering box? Thank for the great video and break down of the truck.
Yea it was on the truck when I got it. I want to swap it for a steering rack.
Nice job bro
Thank you.
How is the wastegate with it mounted/welded to the housing any cons with that setup?
Only thing is is if you swap turbo you have to redo it and it’s hard to sell a turbo with a hole in it. But it works great.
I might’ve missed this part but what kind of brakes front and back?
Stock.
@@BoWhiteRacing That’s with rear drum brakes right? Any stopping issues?
@CherryBombZ28 yes rear drum breaks. And I didn’t have anything issues stopping.

Thank you. The sensors are nice to have but it’s not a must. I just like to have as much data as possible.
Do the crossover pipe at the converter, doit affects the trans temperature?
I didn’t have any issues with it.
How do u have ur catch can routed?
I have the passenger side going to the oil fill cap and the drive side goes to the old vent on the back of the valve cover.
Did you convert the truck to a manual steering box?
I didn’t. It had it went I got the truck I’m guessing it came stock that way but someone else could of swapped it before I got it.
That is one nice piece !! You have great job on the S-10

@@kevinlarrick3285 thank you. I’m trying to make it go 5.5 in the 1/8
What did it take to mount that driveshaft and rear 8.8 diff?
This is a 8.5” so just a stock ujoint.
Are they the stock lifters & oil pump ??
Yes.
Can I sent my S10 and let you build it?
Did you gap the rings on the pistons??
No. This block had a lot of rust in the cylinders so I just cleaned that up and sent it.
Simple .fast .and not breaking the bank .badass truck man you know how much it weights?
Right at 3000 lbs

The driver side is a eBay LS swap header and I made the turbo log.
what water pump are you using?
Stock truck water pump.
@@BoWhiteRacing did you modify it my pump comes from the top
I watched the video again you shortened the tube right

@@BoWhiteRacing cool. I'm trying to decide the way I want to go. Sbc or ls.
@@hotrod76. both work just depends on what you want. To be honest if I was going to do nitrous is do SBC.
