      omg that sounds very tough i’m sorry!! i would definitely have the study guide made on the day you get your lecture and do a lot of of highlighting/prioritizing, then when you get home read through the study guide and through your book at the same time to further help you understand it. quizlet may also be a faster option if you like that! good luck 🩷

    Btw I would like to ask about the use of iPad and computer. How would you use them during the lectures? For me, I only import the pdf into the goodnotes then jot notes there by using the iPad. But as the same time, I know that some peers like to use computer to jot down the notes as well. So I am curious about how you use both of them during the lectures🤣

    • @paolaminette
      @paolaminette  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      my first semester i used the ipad, i started with writing on it but then decided my hand hurt too much doing that for 3 hrs 😭 so then i used my ipad with a bluetooth keyboard from amazon but then it was just kind of hard to keep up and keep things organized the way i wanted so then i had the opportunity on my 3rd semester to get my first computer ! and it was a huge change! i was able to keep stuff super organized and write quick enough to pay more attention in lectures :) i think all 3 of these work it’s just whichever works best for you !! 💗good luck

    • @paolaminette
      @paolaminette  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      in lecture, i either have my study guide already 80% done most times so i just add notes to it, those notes are what the professor is adding or if they say it’s important or that it’s going to be on the test! if i don’t have the study guide done before lecture then i quickly copy and paste the powerpoint outline onto a word doc and try to organize my study guide during the lecture (this is a bit harder cause you’re paying a little less attention to the lecture and more to what you’re writing)

    Please Nurse is better or anesthesia technicia?

    • @paolaminette
      @paolaminette  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      i don’t know anything about anesthesia techs lol but it seems a little slow paced and boring for me since all you do is sit there and watch/monitor anesthesia - if that’s your vibe go for it! there’s also CRNA school which can be completed after nursing school :)

    For every one watching this lol. Do not study like her. I am in nursing school as well. This type of studying is very time consuming and it’s useless. Use active recall, use a paper or a white board if u have one. But put down everything u kno on that sheet then go back to ur notes and try to go back to the paper or board and write what u remembered again. Don’t just mindless write shit down lol. Also don’t take notes during lecture. Just listen and write one word notes to remember important info

      i would recommend getting one if you don’t have that! but if you are not able to buy one you can use an ipad with a keyboard!

    How long does making a guide take for one lecture?
    Because i have a lot of topics to go through and my exams are in like three weeks, would it be effective to use this method?
    Thank you so much for the video !🩷

    • @paolaminette
      @paolaminette  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it doesn’t take long bc you just copy and paste the powerpoint and edit it, id say 15mina to 1hr depending on how you edit. and yes it is effective i also had exams 2-3 weeks apart

    Have you ever met an assistant anesthesiologist? Well, I'm an assistant anesthesiologist and I want to come to the United States, but there are not many TH-camrs who work in this field, so I know that you are a nurse and the assistant anesthesiologist is not your specialty, but I just like to try. Thank you see you later 👋

    How often do you read your notes/study guide?

    • @paolaminette
      @paolaminette  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      not as often as i should haha 🫣 but ideally you want to look at them at least 20 minutes every day after you’re done with them!
