- In this mini vlog I take you through a day in my life as a nursing student! This day included a get some of my morning routine, an 11:30am to 5pm lab, going to the gym, and setting up my study schedule for the next day. It’s been a while since my last nursing video, but I have been recording for you guys, finding the time to edit is just a little obstacle of mine but I really hope you like this video it is VERY realistic (cue the embarrassment lol). I've gotten accepted to multiple schools for nursing, and I work as a CNA, but i still don't know if it's the right major for me. Any advice?
@@ChillPlays Congratulations!!! 💗 I would start by deciphering wether you like being a CNA or not. If you don’t, why? If it’s anything related to being in the hospital / taking care of people, then nursing may not be for you. Usually people that are CNA’s go on to nursing school because they like their jobs / want to elevate their position. I’d recommend doing some research on nursing and watching YT videos!
Girl! I’m so thankful I found your channel! I was literally so self conscious and doubting myself because I’m about to start nursing school but I’m also terrified of needles pocking MY veins lol I was thinking about quitting before I even started, cause I was honestly afraid of failure or embarrassing myself, but knowing I’m not the only one makes me feel so much better, thank you!❣️
don’t quit!! you have to be very open to learning and accepting that everything is new for you. it’s ok to make mistakes and it’s better to make them in nursing school than when you’re a nurse! always try your best in everything 💘

Hey friend, nice video, I used to get embarrassed all the time in Nursing school between foleys being a male on a female dummy, learning from it what matters. In terms of IV you want to try and have it at a lower angle or you’ll go through the vein (ER experience speaking) but practice makes perfect and you got this! Stay focus on your studies, almost at the finish line!
Yess making the mistake definitely helped me learn for next time and it was soooo much better haha. So scared to try it on real veins tho 🫣
@@paolaminette word I still be scared! Especially on nursing home pts who have horrible skinny rolling veins and have pain with just the tourniquet on. Sometimes you gotta just ask the doctors or PA for an ultrasound guided one.
@@mohammedashlam8395 Pro tip coming from an ER nurse, elderly pts often have really weak veins. Using a tourniquet on older pts where you can see and feel veins clearly increases the likelihood of the vein blowing. Sometimes just going in without a tourniquet works best!

I used some Uworld, some Remar, and read a lil saunders. I did 3 nurse achieve exams and my result came back failed

hiii, i’m planning on doing a video with that info next month! my high school GPA was 4.11 weighted, for my science pre requisites (the ones they really care about) i had 5 A’s and 2 high B’s, on my TEAS i got a 78 the first time and an 86.70 when i took it again a month later. i would really recommend the SSC concurrent program with ucf, it’s not easy but it has been a great program overall.

No way- I got my blood drawn with my mom like sometime last year and I couldn't stop laughing while the nurse did it, same for when it happened as a kid, Ironic they gave me the wrong shot, but I couldn't stop laughing,

Hi, l love your video thanks for sharing. Uhm it's been my dream to be a nurse too but I'm studying public health in school currently and l haven't seen a nursing course on my degree planner yet, hopefully l get to do that before l graduate. So l have a question; how to you balance being a TH-camr and being a nursing student? cos it can get overwhelming sometimes...l get headaches every semester cos of my course lol...but it's been interesting so far.

Hello I am Hoping to Join Nursing school Again In August I tried before And Gave up because I wasn't sure if I could do it but Now I am defiantly believing That I really can.Are you a Full time or part time student and How long are your classes usually.And Is there a time Limit on your Program at your desired school.Loved The video very helpful forgot how many hours do you study per class or credit.
hi my program is 6 semesters long with the last semester being fully online. i am a full time student and we usually have 1-2 lecture days that are about 3 hours long, and another day of lab that can be 2-5 hours long, and another day of clinical that can be 10-14 hours at the hospital. they have part time options at my school, which would give you more time to complete the degree! best of luck to you, you got this! 💗💗💗
