Go after the manufacturers of cleaning wipes that call their products flushable, and sue if they refuse to retract that claim from their packaging and advertising.

I’m amazed that they don’t have restaurants required to have an oil bin and removal? In my town restaurants are required to use special oil dumpster. In some towns restaurants have special septic tanks to collect the fats and have to have it pumped out occasionally. I also don’t understand. Why they don’t have dumpsters in the street so people have somewhere to throw their garbage. If they know they have that much damage regularly why not have the restaurants that are putting out those containers charged a deposit (that can be collected by the town) and can have their deposit returned when they bring back the container. That would be cheaper than paying 50 people overtime for 5 hrs every week. If they started writing people up for littering and requiring that they do a weekend clean up, after a while people will stop littering.
When our town required every residence to have at least once a month pick up for garbage disposal, then it started looking better. There were also teachers that expressed the importance of not littering and after 30-40 years you can tell it’s made a difference.
These guys are doing a job that would show up if it hadn´t been done. Score for them 💯.

Wow. Unbelievable!😱 I think areas need more garbage cans and recycling bins for people to use. Please consider donation for useable items and asking for help from your friends and family or hiring a crew to help you clean your house.

Sometimes the wrong kinds of people are given flats and houses. If they haven't proved that they can actually look after a home of their own, then maybe they should be living in a residential care home, as the cleaners clean and tidy your bedroom for you, so you wouldn't really have to lift a finger, and it would be far less of a burden for landlords, and the council's.
