I don't know why this documentary hasn't received more likes. These people are our true American heroes.
I almost wish our politicians were required at least one week of boot camp.
My US History teacher is teaching us about slavery and abolitionism. I am in the 11th grade. btw my history teacher is white, from Oklahoma, conservative and was a Marine before he was a teacher. He tells us this is not BLACK HISTORY but US History. and it belongs to all us not just blacks.

+Krystal Raynes Anyone who leaves such a snide remark just reveals that the film piece meant more than you want to let on.If you are a liberal and have bought into the" whites are bad, blacks are good,end of subject" belief, then a film such as this splits open wide your liberal indoctrination and history shifting,and that bothers you because you now will be thinking,"Hmm,what else have I been lied to about?"and then you have to really do some studying and searching.Do it,it's very good for the brain!

Yes! I was pleasantly surprised by the actors. I also liked how they didn't muddle it with too many "interviews". A lot of the commentary from historians is really original and has their opinion thrown in with the facts.

But he initiated more fear from masters, they because so fearful of an uprising and they mistreated blacks even worse. I agree with his idealism but extremism only fueled the flame of slavery. This deep rooted fear of black people uprising still lives on today and keeps racism going. We should stop looking at John Brown and Nat Turner as the good guys and realize hated can not defeats evil.

Its 2023, 65 year old white lady, never were we taught any of this stuff in school, apparently we were only taught what they wanted us to know, kind of like today news only reports what they want us to know even if it's not true. I wish the truth about slavery had been taught to everyone, we didnt know about even blacks owned slaves, and the pro slavery bafoons were evil and the regular citizens arent the ones to blame, just like today it was the corrupt politicians, the filthy corrupt rich folks even back then. This country is just as terrible now as it was back then, the leaders want to control all of us, we need to try and unite we need each other and all races to fight these demons in DC. 😢😢😢😢

The documentary creators forget to include the increased role that women had on the movement. Sadly, erasure of women is happening more and more
Abolitionists came in all forms, from radical resistance to passive aggressive resistance both extremes
How about acting out the history of the Moors?
Unfortunately the white washing of history won't allow that. We can't even get history of black American abolitionists. Garrison and Brown were great men but how many learn about Deslpondes or Louverture? Even DuBois is left out of our history books. American history is Eurocentric and crafted to give impression that everything historical was white.
No Treason: Constitution of No Authority is the biggest red pill you can take. Spooner belongs right next to Brown, Douglas, Garrison ect
