If I could have a drink with anyone dead or alive it would be this man.
I don’t remember him from school. Ready to read about him in “Stamped from the beginning”.
Book : Voices of Protest, page 113
Williams Lloyd Garrison is the Chris Hedges of these contemporary times.
Bravery and fortitude to oppose an "Unjust America" !!
He reminds me of logic
I used this on my computer slides at school y’all

bruh sry nobody replied for a year, you can prolly just find the parts on youtube on pbs or just look it up and find a re-upload somewhere.
PBS: Please raise your standards for Closed-Captioning. I've looked at several videos from "The Abolitionists," & all Closed-Captioning needs work. Not everyone can listen to your videos. Very disappointing.
pbs didnt make the captions it is generated by the thing hearing the caption and translating the captions
IDK 80 thousand viewers and 24 comments
cool video
A rarity in white American men of the 19th century who supported the rights of both black Americans and women.
Read the Book - Voices of Protest, page 113💙
That black dude look like bill Cosby
T
LOL the actors didnt give a squat about Garrison, they're just there to act
and he is a white wealthy man
was he wealthy? He was a faithful Christian soul and disciple who lived an honest and prayerful life of devotion and sacrifice. He did not live in the vulgarity of excessive wealth and indulgence but in prayerful middle class honesty and dignity and at times, even Christ-like poverty
What you're saying is racist. To act like him being white makes what he did not count or something is so hypocritical. (That's how you're coming across, you may not belive that though)
so?
and??? he still did great things
Juan trevino shut up you far left stupid.
