In case of it not working, please check the following things:
- Is your Yuzu up to date? (it can even say upto date, without it being. needs to be atleast version 1560 or higher)
- Is your Smash up to date? (13.0.2)
- does smash run without Arc?
- Does it work after clearing your yuzu folder?
- Is your SDMC in the Smash Properties activated?

I am new yuzu users, my yuzu is up to date, smash to, it run without arc, but after clear cache the game doesn't want to launch anymore
@@ighnir_ okay I'm gonna summarize a list for you:
check it smash ultimate is on the version 13.0.1 if not, update it and retry
if yes, what Version is your Yuzu? you can see under the help section, if it is above 1560 it should work (I recommend not using the beta client)
if that is also working, then go into the yuzu folder, drag out the keys folder to a safe place, and delete the rest in the yuzu folder, so it can regenerate, drag the keys folder back in and redo the tutorial.

everything done correctly, i installed the Instant Attacks mod but it wasn't a folder in ultimate\mods
it was directly in atmosphere but it was working
The thing is i'm on 13.0.1, yuzu 1685 and Ascension doesn't work... the mods folder is in ultimate\mods and the plugins are in load\.........\smashlinehook.nro and nrohook, both latest version
They are also both in the SDMC one since idk where to put them

im stuck with the arcropolis. its not showing up in the ultimate folder. my yuzu is 1566, the arc folder is checked on my smash game, and its launching normally.
Edit: i know whats the reason. Make sure you have EVERYTHING up to date, meaning not only YUZU but the game as well! If the game doesnt have the latest update, then arcropolis wont show up.

Do you think this tutorial will work on steam deck (linux).? Yuzu recently added support for mods (skins) throught skyline and acropolis for linux.
I can't tell for sure, but worst case you will need to reinstall yuzu afterwards, so it's worth a try
having troubles launching mods with the newest arcopolis version. as far as i know the mod i have installed is compatable with current versions as followed in the tutorial. yuzu and arcopolis are all up to date. all files are properly managed in smdc and the legacy file. no idea what is happening, any tips on this issue?
Not all mods that will work with the switch, will work on yuzu, it can simply be a incompatibility, trying an older acropolis version can also help if the mod didn't get a update for a while

Hey I am running into some issue, I set up the mod folders correctly, but when i try boot the game with acropolis it gets stuck on the launching screen. It is however still creating the arcropolis and mods folders inside “ultimate” however, my yuzu and game are up to date (1583 and 13.0.1 respectively
okay first of all, that is a common bug, so don't worry, it most of the time happens when people tried stuff like ultimatemodmanager before.
get into your Yuzu folder. and drag out the keys folder to a safe place so you can reuse it, afterwards, delete the rest that is inside the yuzu folder, to make a clean install, run the normal setup stuff and follow the tutorial again, this time it should work, if not! hit me up on discord: timerin

there are Videos out there explaining on how to do it with Software, I Personaly had no need for it yet, so I can't explain it in detail . but basically the folder and file names go from 0 to 7, which in game are the slots 1 to 8, the counting just starts of from 0 instead of 1

After doing all this, everything works perfectly besides a little bug, the sword effect of Mythra disappeared with Arc activated in yuzu (hence the mods on) but once I deactive it, everything is back to normal (without mods). Would you have an idea how to fix this bug? I also tried to reinstall arc with an older version but still having this problem. Thanks!
as i can't seem to recreate the problem, i sadly cannot tell you how to fix it.
maybe try to clear your shaders in yuzu, so they need to regenerate

I could pinpoint the problem. I did clear my shaders in yuzu and it didn't solved the problem.
Though, I deleted a skin that I installed for Aegis and it was the cause of it. Since the skin is basically changing the whole character to replace with another set of character, it broke the shaders of the sword of Mythra since the sword is not the same for that skin.

for some reason, it said that Arcropolis cannot currently run on a Smash version other than 13.0.2 I'm on 13.01 but I don't have a Nintendo switch and ur pinned comment said the up to date is 13.0.1.

My yuzu is up to date, I have latest smash update, and arc is checked in properties, yet for some reason, the folder won't show up. I have restarted and ran a few times, still nothing

Nice tutorial, but i have a problem.. I installed Arcropolis and skyline.. I even can see Arcropolis now on the properties of the game. I can launch it, but I am missing the arcropolis folder that should generate automatically.. Whats the issue?
I just recommend you checking out the recommend guide, if it doesn't work either, just leave a comment there too and we can trouble shoot together
@@Timerin I checked the sdmc folder, inside atmosphere, then game folder of smash bros.. there is a html, opened it, and i saw the message that i need the newest version of smash bros to work with arc :) I am at 13.0.0 now and need 13.0.1

I'm not sure why but when I put in the smashline hook into the plugins the game gets stuck on the launching screen? Any idea what it could be or I should do?

Okay so now I'm lost. I'm at 4:29, my game is stuck on launch. But the arcropolis folder has been made. I checked becuase I had some mods from the yuzu mod downloader. So I figured maybe those mods for smash were messing with the process. So I deleted my work thus far, mods included and started over. But once again I'm stuck at the same spot. I have the needed folder but the game is still stuck on launching. Could the mod downloader have messed with things?
it defintly can, i recommend clearing out the appdata yuzu folder, and letting the files in it generate again, you will need to backup your keys if you don't want to go through too much trouble but shouldn't be hard.
afterwards redo this tutorial and it should work

oh i see, in your %appdata% folder, inside of the yuzu folder, there is a folder called keys, just copy it before deleting all of the yuzu folder, and then just open yuzu, and drag in the keys folder and it should do the job@@Poppilion
acropolis doesn't show up, checked all of the steps in pinned (do not know how to clear yuzu folder tho)

the ARcropolis folder doesn't want to be made. I am on the latest verison of Yuzu, Smash is up to date, it runs fine without arc and SDMC is activated. Clearing the yuzu cache doesn't fix it.
is your Smash 13.0.2 or 13.0.1?

if you right click smash brosh in yuzu, and go to properties, there should be a list, is the arc folder you created checked there?

In "Add-ons" column you have "Arc", "DLC", "Update" and "SDMC" but on my game I don't have "SDMC" I don't know why (I followed each steps"), is it important or just a detail? 7:54
as you followed the alternative guide you used the arc method, the recommended method uses SDMC, as I recorded and used both, both get shown, so don't worry too much about it
and that's also why the [D] was infront of it, it stands for deactivated
@@Timerin ok ty because I had an issue about skins, I downloaded a mod skin (Jin Kazama) on gamebanana and followed the steps you showed in the vid but my skin can't load in game. I'll try method 1.

that is because you need to use the HDR multiplayer fix, it is also in the yuzu guide I used and have linked below

hey when i go into a yuzu public lobby then start the game it crashes. i am updated on all things.
you are not supposed to be able to go into a public lobby modded, there are 2 ways of playing online with others, first is mentioned in the gamebanana guide, the other one is the one I mentioned in the end with parsec

I'm trying to download the Training Mod but I'm unsure what to do. I got Arcopolis and everything working but have no idea where to extract the .zip.
instead of just extracting it, open it to find out what kind of data structure it is, if there are dependencies included, then it is one where you need to seperate dependencies and mods.
if it has something like UI or similar in there as folders, then it already is the mods and need to be extracted into the mods folder
It just doesn't seem to work. The acropolis folder is made and the game boots as normal, just without mods. I've tried 50 different methods and no matter what I can't seem to make mods work on smash ultimate yuzu. I just want jojo characters in the game :(

is your Smash actually up to date? double check please. as I already had a case where he thought it was the newest, but it wasn't.

mods doesnt change mario skins but mario 64 skin works for some reason
make sure that the folder is correct and extracted, it should look something like this: yuzu > sdmc > ultimate > mods > NameOfMod > fighter > Mario > Model > body > and in there should be folders like: c01-c07 ! Also make sure none of the mods you use use the same slot as it can make it bug out
@@TimerinI've already double check the folder, when i installed the snow mario it just doesnt change the skin same goes to peach when i installed the tanooki skin that doesnt change either- idk whats happening to be honest
@@Snowy0z well not every mod will work, the best thing I can recommend is trying out an older version of acropolis

How does one Update smash ultimate on Yuzu?
depends on how you got those, but let's just say, sites provide update data, and you can install that update via file -> Install files to NAND and then search and select the update files
arc folder didnt appear in sdmc help
preferably try the recommended method instead, but also there are problems with the new update of smash currently, so I can't guarantee it working
Anyone know if my mods still need to be in either exefs or romfs folders to work? Used this method but no dice so far :/ wish smash was moddable the regular yuzu way my Mario kart and Mario party drag and drop mods work great once I did the romfs or exefs tricks

you won't be able to have an active toggle for each mod, but I recommend checking out my recommended version
Also any clue where this “web applet” in the debug menu of Yuzu is located? the directions on that game banana site say that’s like the last thing to do but I can’t find it :/ wondering if that’s affecting me not seeing the mods.
Also any clue how to add the boot straight to menu mod? It wasn’t working even after taking it out of the exefs folder :(

There is no crashes and no bugs but just my mods doesn't works.(My game is a NSP file maybe it doesn't works without a XCI, i don't know.)

Make sure you have the latest Smash bros ultimate update, it won't work if you don't

you should clear out your Yuzu app data folder (make sure to save your keys) as it in most cases is a hint of other files interacting in a bad way with acropolis (for example leftovers of ultimate mod manager)

the exact same way other mods work, make sure that if there are any shown dependencies to download them too, put them in your mods folder, making sure it is like the link moveset mod in this video. and you are done

yuzu does not have android support for acropolis (yet)
Im stuck in "launching" screen
take a look at your dependencies and mods. most of the time you won't get past the launching screen as not all mods will work on yuzu, but most do, drag them out and check one by one which one works and which one doesn't

hello? can you describe the issue you had? if it didn't work for you, it's probably just:
- your Smash not being up to date
- your Yuzu not being up to date (need to reinstall yuzu, the updater is bugged)
- bugged yuzu files, need of reinstall
This but for emudeck
emudeck uses ryujinx as an emulator, and from my knowledge, smash modding on ryujinx is easier and worked for longer, just search for a ryujinx tutorial or use the guide in the description and click on ryujinx
