  • I m super excited about the Korean V Line non surgical treatment options. Korean glass skin and facial slimming are popular in both Asia and North America. Korean facial slimming surgery and non surgical options. PDO Threads, fillers, neurotoxins and injections are reviewed in this video.
    www.RajaniMD.com- Dr Rajani at Portland Oregon Style Aesthetics discusses ways to narrow the look of the face. Kybella, v line fluid, dermal fillers and PDO Threads can all be used. Dr Rajani shows techniques here for non surgical koren slimming.
    NON Surgical facelifts, brow lifts and skin rejuvenation are driving aesthetic patients to practices. Nose surgeries and rhinoplasty is still popular both surgically and non surgically.
    Fillers and neuromodulators like botox, dysport and jeuveau are important in creating beauty and youth. They must be dosed and placed correctly and in combinations for a natural look. Many people in Oregon like botox and are now looking at dermal filler injections to create youth

      Update! After 1st Scarlet treatment yesterday, the numbing cream really helps. The pain level was 4 out of 10 for me. My areas of concerns were nasolabial folds, under eye hallows and needing skin tightening. Technician said she would do same amount of power on whole face but thanks to Dr Rajani I told her NO!
      I don’t want to shrink fat from under my eyes.
      It’s definitely something not all handlers know apparently. Careful out there.

    Also, differing beauty standards aside, I live among many Koreans, and quite a few of them have a great deal of zygomatic prominence, some out of proportion. So, after having encountered these people, I can understand why some of them go for that cheekbone reduction osteotomy.
    We westerners prefer a distinct cheekbone, but most of us don’t have it in excess to begin with.

    Dr Castor in Tampa, Sharon Giese and a few others do lipo of the jawline and jowl. It is definitely a plus for women in their 30s who are getting a fat pocket, it holds off a face lift for another 10 years. So many facelift doctors do not want to acknowledge that for a lot of people jowls are just fat and not yet a skin issue. The big concern is that some doctors who do the lipo do not stay below the ear and end up wiping out some of the mid-cheek which is not ideal. They claim it is necessary to blend it. Doctors are also doing Facetite now with lipo. The Facetite isn't what is really pleasing the patient, it is the simple lipo they are getting with the treatment.

    • @rajanimdskincare
      @rajanimdskincare  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Agreed. It is fat. In the right candidate it is great. However, for many loose skin remains. Facetite is great for mild laxity but often removing the skin is important.

    Thanks for this video. In my experience, I just want a conservative facial slimming. I've seen people who looked like having a witch chin because of the V shape. So I just had Ulthera, Botox of masseter and chin filler. I am scared of going blind due to fillers so I just agreed to a chin filler. I am happy with the result with Botox on masseter, Ulthera and chin filler.

      @@scienceisfun2000 I see. Thanks. I noticed you said how you dont want filler because it may cause blindness. Is that the same for botox, does botox cause blindness?

    • @scienceisfun2000
      @scienceisfun2000 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Angelica-vu3nk I am not a doctor but I don't think so. The Botox targets the nerve muscle while fillers occupies space which may block blood flow. if it does, I think the risk is not that high unlike in fillers there are cases in Korea of blindness due to fillers.
      The best is to to a doctor who is certified to do it.
      I have my Botox and HiFu to a good certified doctor while filler I have it done to Thailand's trainer of doctors in dermal fillers. I am happy with the result. I am based in Thailand.
      Though I can only have the courage for a chin filler because this will not cause blindness due to a different blood supply.
      Fillers are great. I am very happy with the result.

      Choose a doctor who is certified and discuss your concerns. One of my concern for fillers is the price so the doctor recommended a filler that will last long and adviced me on things to do and not to do to prolong fillers: use of sunblock, drink lots of water, exercise, etc...

    Is non surgical facelift a better option than a deep plane face lift for moderate lifting, your opinion is really valuable and appreciated.
    Thank you

      Both. Nothing replaces a facelift. Afterwards one can contour with fillers or plasmaSculpt. It isn t one or the other. They do 2 different things.

    Hi Doctor, so I'm trying to slim my face but my doctor says the reason my face appears to be so wide is because of my parotid glands. Because of that he says cheek filler and masseter botox will do very little if anything at all to slim my face. We also talked about buccal fat removal but he came to the conclusion that most of my facial cheek was on the inside so that too would do very little to slim my face. Would PDO or Nova threading possibly be that powerful something that could help me? Or maybe that korean v line surgery? (Not that I know anything about that surgery.) I would very VERY much like to hear your thoughts on my situation. Thanks.

      I had the barbed threads, and hell yes it hurts...and for weeks/months later sometimes the barb thread will move and you will get a sharp pain. I personally felt that it did not last that long (I had it done in Korea), and not worth the pain/time lasting.
