That’s a great test to check your turbo is oiling, nice work. -if your Yanmar starts to burn oil and smoke, add a restricted banjo bolt. The IHI RHB31 / VZ21 along w’ other smaller turbos don’t like really high oil pressure at the CHRA oil inlet. can’t wait to see more of your progress & nice work. I’m actually in the middle of building a turbo kit for my Kubota D722 now 🤙
Nice! I have done similar to my cingle cylinder diesel, but i have a separate oiling system, will tap into the motor some day but gearbox gave up. What size of engine are you using? I use the 4hp kipor diesel, I'm planning to put a bigger injector but haven't gotten to that part yet, check out the build I have on my channel 😉
mines a 10hp yanmar l100, and I was lucky with mine it had a oil spot on the side of the block already, I'm planning to put an old cub cadet trans in mine one day
Hope you have the proper restrictor in the oil inlet. And hope you build a proper air intake box between the turbo and the intake port. Google turboing a single cylinder to find out why it's mandatory
@joshysgarage8036 no, from the turbo to the engine not pre turbo. You have to build an intake box to dampen the pulses from the turbo as because it's a single the turbo pressure isn't consistent
@@hmccarty7189 i previously had this turbo on my gokart and it had oil leaks on the cold side, so I had the charge pipe off so I can see if it would leak.
for anybody who thinks its knocking in a bad way its not, its just how single cylinder diesel
Just subscribed, can’t wait to see this thing go fast or whatever your goal with it is lol💯🔥🔥
I'm planning to put an old cub transmission in er, and make it a plow tractor.

for the intake it's just the stock air box without the filter

Hey bud why is there no charge pipe??😅😂😅😂 whats the point?? Jus hanging it there is making double hp😅😅
this was a oil test the charge pipe was put on yesterday and it runs great
@@joshysgarage8036 oil test?? See if it would oil the turbo? Video??
