I don't think he is concluding that pizza is Indian but what he is saying is that had buffaloes not been introduced to Italy then maybe we wouldn't have a pizza today.
That guy makes catchy food video to make a political comment hence the weird comment about the dark skin of the Buffalo, as for connection between Pizza and Buffalo is pointless because the pizza as we know I think was invented in 17th century, and this buffalo at very least introduced 1000 years prior, it's unreasonable to correlate two events that's happened centuries apart.

The popularity of Pizza caught up after Margherita version/recipe and before that it was not as popular as it became after Margherita recipe And the creator is talking about POPULARITY not the origin but he isnt conveying it that clearly for the rest of us.
