Shiva and Shakti represent the observer and the observed respectively. When manifest, they appear together tied in yugpat relationship of mutual interdependence. They also act as dharma-dharmi, where dharma is a property held by a dharmi. There must be an observer if something is there to observe, and vice versa. If there is nothing to observe, the observer will also not arise.

I agree, Moghe'ji. Even though we regained 'svatantrata' in 1947, we as a nation have yet to realise 'svaadheenata'. Till long minds of most continued to be owned by the English, and of late, they appear to be owned by Americans. Childishly enamoured by glamour.... What we need is to wake up from the gullibility for the glamorous peripherals of our Aunts and realise the core realisations of Life which our Mother has a huge treasure of. The core.... Hello Ma’am. My mother sent me this video which educated her ; my gratitude. Beginning from 3:14, unfortunately it is false. Our conscious observation does not bring the particle into existence. An inanimate observer will also collapse the wave function. This is called as an Observer bias where a simple act of measurement alters the system being measured. A measurement can never be truly passive: the instrument measuring the phenomenon disturbs the phenomenon itself, like when we measure tire pressure we end up losing a bit of air. So, it’s not that we observe the wave into a particle, it’s just that we haven’t created a perfect measurement system that wouldn’t disturb the system itself, a disturbance caused by both conscious and Inanimate object. Having said that, interpreting the interference results as us bringing things to existence is reaching. PS: it was discovered that the universe is not LOCALLY real. It’s a big difference. Quoting: “Local” means that objects can be influenced only by their surroundings and that any influence cannot travel faster than light.
Was going to reply, but you said it first. If collapse occurred in our consciousness, two observers would see different events. Collapse due to consciousness is outdated and not really mainstream science anymore. As this responder said, non-locality and non-realness are not the same.

Like when we dream all the living entities in that dream has existence only till the lifespan of the dream and like other objects in the dream they are also not real and their existence is vanished as we woke up from the dream. Similarly how in this unreal world we are real when just like other objects in this world we are also a result of Super consciousness's dream or super consciousness's consciousness?

But I thought the prevailing view was that observer wasn’t necessary for locating exact position of particles - only a measurement was necessary- which didn’t always require an observer.
Well, what if - theoretically, you designed a machine to auto measure the object, and another 2nd machine to auto record the first machine’s measurement, then later looked at the 2nd machine’s recording, then position was confirmed without observer.

Nice video mam. I am a Doctor and the nature of Consciousness and the Universe always fascinated me. The universe exists in consciousness only. I understand and feel the Universe, because what I sense by my sense organs are appreciated in the consciousness. If you search consciousness in the brain , you will not find it. It is beyond the brain and nerve cells. When I see a flower it's redness is seen by me , only because the concept of redness is there in my mind( beyond the brain cells).If I am colour blind to red, I cannot see red. If all the people in this Earth are colour blind, there is no red Colour at all for us to discuss. And after all, what is a colour ? It is a particular frequency vibration interacting with the cones of Retina, producing a small current, which on reaching the cortical neurones, the colour is perceived. Who perceives it ? How perceived? Why perceived ?. No clear answer. It is perceived in consciousness. Because the concept of that colour is already there in mind, irrespective of the presence or absence of that colour/ frequency in the outside world. If the concept is already not there in the consciousness, you will not perceive it. This is true for all other sensations like touch,smell or taste. In short , Universe exists in consciousness only. May be your consciousness perceive it when it is triggered by the external stimulus. But I think the inner concept of consciousness is more important. If you say that there in only inner consciousness, then outside world is an illusion. What is consciousness ? Science does not have an answer. Because consciousness is subjective feeling.Science can deal with objective, measurable things only. But because Consciousness is not objective , Science should not say that there is no Consciousness. Probably in future Science will find a way to dissect it. Thanks again for your effort and time.

I'm Ajith Kumar, a former software developer. I liked your take on consciousness, with the example of sensing or seeing an object. In his book 'What Religion Is' Swami Vivekananda also used this case of how extra-body (and hence not inherited from parents) elements/ instincts are getting involved in the process of seeing. The impressions/ consciousness that we carried from our past births and stored in our consciousness part of the Soul (the captive Brahman). The great JK also used the same to explain Maya. He argued since the things we see is based only on the image (an unreal thing) reflected in our retina, how can we believe that what we saw was nothing but real. This is same with all we perceive through our sense organs. They are limited by their 'bandwidths'. The world we see is hence maya, or not real, he asserted. Regards
As far as my knowledge is concerned the claustrum in brain is responsible for our connection with the consciousnesss. A scientist at RIKEN institute, Japan has proved it. From my personal experience I can say that through pineal gland the seeing of truth or experiencing the consciousness ‘as it is’ happens. It happens on its own and we can only create situation in which it happens. This experience reactivates the sleeping claustrum in brain.
The medical & vedantic definitions of consciousness are different. the medical definition (carrying coal to NC !) means, a person is conscious if he responds to an external stimulus. But if a particle does not exist until you observe it, what are you observing? How can you observe something which doesn’t exist? You can’t observe probabilities . You can visualize possibilities (and every human would visualize different possibilities) but you can’t see probabilities or possibilities, or can you?

It is a great pictorial explanation illustrating the paradox of advita principle of Adi Sankaracharya and quantum physics. Any one reads Adi Sankaracharya philosophy and bhashyam or his commentaries you can draw a clear line between sath (only one Brahman existence) and all other observed experienced is unreal (midhya). Thanks to our Guru Swami Paramathmananda who has driven the concept in us in every class saying that conscious is not the part, product, and property of the body. To understand this we must discover the difference between subject and object or observer and observed. When you yourself are both how can we claim the experience of Brahman. So the solution is "thad twam Asi" as given in vedas. Take an example of a sentence in many texts and poetry forms by bhaktas: మా అమ్మ వ్రాసింది ఎంతో మంది భక్తులు చెప్పినది ఇదే "ఆత్మలో నిను నిల్పి నీలోనే లీనమై" అంటే आत्मलो निनु निल्पि निलोने लीनमै - Where is the subject & object, and who is kartha, karma performer? All in one that is SELF - I am atma Brahma - All Upanishads converge into this, like all rivers losses their name, place of birth, travel and end up in one Ocean. జీవాత్మ పరమాత్మలో ఐక్యము అగుట. This happens when the pure mind of jeeva athma (a particle as per quantum physics terminology) gets resolved into Brahman or paramathma ( which is full of all particles which travelled in infinite time and infinite space) which is infinite, pure, no gunas/attributes - Sath, chith and Ananda. All the great saints reached the state and transact in this world to explain that Brahman. आत्मन्येव आत्मना तुष्टह : - BhgavadGita 2nd chapter - 55 sloka - Description of merging of jeevathma with Paramathma by yoga sadhana - That person Brahman is also known as Sthitapragna. They proved that, with respect to experiments on quantum entangled particles, quantum mechanics was either right, or gave a better description of the results than relativity. Therefor the Einstein Podolsky Rosen Paradox was not a paradox at all, and the interaction between entangled particles is instantaneous.

Namaste! Well done. The video is comprehensible for many and offers clear principles for going deeper for those experiencing what is indicated as the non-dualistic perspective within Vedantic teachings, Advaita Vedanta. As you know, Vedanta includes qualified non-dualistic and dualistic viewpoints, too. People have different approaches, and this suggests gaining some understanding as to the appearance of contradictions between the different schools of thought. This calls for an insight into Vedantic monism much more developed than emphasizing "the universe is not real." I think it is more helpful to emphasize the efficacy of practice and study of our "reality" such that the "actuality" that is fundamental to the illusion is clarified. Among us are some who have, through some action of this universe, been granted total clarity. The most established in "actuality" we have recognized as world teachers. Most of us have made some progress in emulating them if we are attracted to this nice video. But, the intricacies of Vedantic thought in its full scope do and must take into account that it is possible the worship of a "real" stone goddess has already proved perfectly suitable to completely clarify "actuality" for a few people. Quantum theory shows us the limits of our very effective scientific investigation in dispelling the physicalist ontological paradigm. Now, some physicists are exploring panpsychism in its various assertions of the ubiquitous nature of consciousness. Consciousness Studies have become a thing along with the idea there is a "hard problem of consciousness." As a student of Vedanta for over 50 years, I am excited to see the philosophical and cosmological systems extant for some 5,000 years coming into the modern scientific milieu. It has motivated me a lot to learn from these developments and find many congruencies and new insights. To be brief, I have found, for example, the Pauli-Jung Conjecture regarding quantum theory, its Priority Monism with the conjecture about basic psychophysically neutral reality with its derivative mental and physical aspects. Astonishingly incredible and you explained an excruciatingly complex topic in the most simplest way possible but it leaves with this question: If the world is not real and is only a result of Super consciousness's consciousness or dream then that means even the consciousness within that dream(we human beings and other living entities) are also not real because our existence is also only subject to the existence of Brahm's dream. Like when we dream all the living entities in that dream has existence only till the lifespan of the dream and like other objects in the dream they are also not real and their existence is vanished as we woke up from the dream. Similarly how in this unreal world we are real when just like other objects in this world we are also a result of Super consciousness's dream or super consciousness's consciousness?
This confusion is because the presentation jumps from "you" the observer to Brahma the Witness, as if both are the same. This is not the real teaching. The universal Entity that creates experiencing minds is not itself an experiencing mind.
Einstein laid the foundations of Quantum Mechanics. When he explained the photoelectric effect, for which he received the Nobel Prize, he proved that light comes in packets of energy which he called Quanta. The name “Quantum Mechanics” comes from here. What bothered Einstein was the probabilistic nature of Quantum Mechanics, something he found difficult to reconcile with. But being a true scientist, he respected the mathematical calculations of his peers, accepted the evidence provided and awaited a different, more acceptable explanation. The Nobel Prize in Physics for 2022 was awarded to the scientists Zellinger, Aspect and Clauser for their work in establishing that entangled particles violate Bell’s inequality, which in turn pioneers a lot of work in Quantum Information Science. It does not claim that all reality is an illusion or anything similar. Quantum Mechanics is a rather difficult subject that requires a very high level of mathematical as well as experimental expertise and it is very easy to jump to wrong conclusions with inadequate knowledge.
This reminds me of Janakaraja’s dream anecdote. When I have a dream while asleep, it looked so real. And when I wake up, we discover that the dream is unreal! Janakaraja’s argument is that which is real world? I really liked the presenter’s presentation besides the content. Kudos.

Namaste Mam! I bumped into your channel just recently and found it to be along the same path that myself has been treading all along to reach enlightenment. I really appreciate your contents. Having said that, I must say that all of us seekers of the truth are continuously performing our dose of Karma yoga and Bhakti yoga every second of our life, yet the paths of Jnana yoga as practised by King Janaka and as described by the Lord himself is the hardest of them all! Yet, I'm glad that some of us still try to inquire along this path, as I believe it complements the other two at our early stage of soul evolution, though the Lord does explain that all 3 paths are complete in themselves. Thank you for making this knowledge accessible to a bigger audience. Now something on the physics aspect of your video which with great humility, I wanted to add. When you are referring to the Quantum entanglement's TEMPORAL collapse of the wavefunction, the Delayed Choice Quantum Eraser Experiment has already been performed to explain this aspect of things, so that would reinforce the viewers belief there. It proves that not only entangled particles "communicate" instantaneously over vast distances defying the notion of speed of light (SPATIAL collapse) but also through time i.e. a measurement performed NOW on the state of an entangled particle immediately affect the state of its entangled twin copy in the PAST. I do not think the experiment is too complex for us layman to be able to understand its underlying principles. It will clear a lot of doubt about the "Reality" explained in the video and the one consciousness pervading the universe which is glaring in our face!
I am impressed by this presentation. It spurs me to go deeper into this subject. I make three observations: 1. Prof D. Hoffman has been working for years on a theory of consciousness that results into quantum mechanics predictions. I don’t think he has succeeded yet ; 2. Quantum mechanics does allow practical predictions that are brought to use (lasers, quantum computing). Vedanta is not a theory in the same sense; 3. Whatever Vedanta is, it must obey the physical principle of conservation of energy. Quantum theory does obey it if the multiple worlds interpretation is accepted.

Does this imply that some other consciousness (person) is seeing me / dreaming me / bringing me into existence right now? Also, does this mean that for all the trillions (?) of particles that make up ‘me’, each of them is entangled with another particle located at some other point and time in the universe, and if so, each of ‘my’ particles is ‘communicating’ (exchanging information) with each of those they are entangled with?
Quite enlightening explanation. I myself discovered a phenomenon that thought is real and permanent whereas an action associated with it is temporary. I also firmly believe that thought travels faster than the speed of light and can reach extreme corners of universe. It is the thought that triggers evolution. My wife and mother ask me why the life on this world is so tough. My explanation is that we are going through a long journey of evolution and it's a long way to perfection or some kind of moksha. This is just my way of explaining as understanding life is an amazingly difficult.
Okay, a dream example explains it well. However the question arises that, during a dream one does not realise it, but only after waking up one knows it was a dream and he was the observer & creator of his dream. Similarly, if this world is Maya and what we are going through is a big dream which actually exists only in one's consciousness, then how and when does one wake up to realise that it is all Maya around me. 2nd point, after one is out of his dream and wakes up, then he actually wakes up to a reality of the awakened state in which the realization of the dream happens. Similarly when one realizes that this world is Maya, then what is the real world he wakes up to?
Excellent questions. I will try my best to answer it. First we should understand that dream example is an analogy and it has its limitations. Let us take your first question. Waking from the dream is not an option in this reality. The goal.of Advaitha is to make you understand you are in a dream while you are still in it. Let us say you are having a having a nightmare. You are miserable and afraid. If someone where to come to you and explain that this is only a dream and you have created this entire nightmare. This limited person who is afraid and miserable is not the real you. The real you is sleeping comfortably in a cozy bed. If you can internalize this, you will no longer be afraid of the things in your dream. This is liberation. There is a state called lucid dream when you aware that you are dreaming even while you are dreaming. In the context of the world we are in, waking up is like being in a lucid dream. You have not actually woken up. You are fully aware that this is a dream. Your second question is from the point of view of brahman. When the universe exists it is like the consciousness has gone into a state of lucid dream. When he wakes up, the universe is gone and the only thing that exists is consciousness. This is depicted by sleeping Vishnu dreaming up the whole universe. This sleep is called yoga nidra which is similar to a lucid dream
The answer to both questions is Self-realization (no-mind or manonasha). Ramana Maharshi has described mano-nasha.🙏🏼 No-mind=no world because mind projects the world.
How and when does one realise that it is all Maya around him? It may take several births, depending upon what has been ordained for the soul. But it has to be a personal experience. That personal, inner experience will aise from meditation. Just erase, unlearn everything you know and meditate to know the truth. The truth will express itself to you. When you wake up from a dream, you wake up to the reality of the world and universe. When enlightment happens, you wake up to the reality of consciousness, which is the only reality.

I have always felt that the universe exists because the observer exists. The observer exists because his or her consciousness exists
Shiva and Shakti represent the observer and the observed respectively. When manifest, they appear together tied in yugpat relationship of mutual interdependence. They also act as dharma-dharmi, where dharma is a property held by a dharmi. There must be an observer if something is there to observe, and vice versa. If there is nothing to observe, the observer will also not arise.

Hello Ma’am. My mother sent me this video which educated her ; my gratitude. Beginning from 3:14, unfortunately it is false. Our conscious observation does not bring the particle into existence. An inanimate observer will also collapse the wave function. This is called as an Observer bias where a simple act of measurement alters the system being measured. A measurement can never be truly passive: the instrument measuring the phenomenon disturbs the phenomenon itself, like when we measure tire pressure we end up losing a bit of air. So, it’s not that we observe the wave into a particle, it’s just that we haven’t created a perfect measurement system that wouldn’t disturb the system itself, a disturbance caused by both conscious and Inanimate object. Having said that, interpreting the interference results as us bringing things to existence is reaching.
PS: it was discovered that the universe is not LOCALLY real. It’s a big difference. Quoting: “Local” means that objects can be influenced only by their surroundings and that any influence cannot travel faster than light.

If the world is not real and is only a result of Super consciousness's consciousness or dream then that means even the consciousness within that dream(we human beings and other living entities) are also not real because our existence is also only subject to the existence of Brahm's dream. Like when we dream all the living entities in that dream has existence only till the lifespan of the dream and like other objects in the dream they are also not real and their existence is vanished as we woke up from the dream. Similarly how in this unreal world we are real when just like other objects in this world we are also a result of Super consciousness's dream or super consciousness's consciousness?

I am a Doctor and the nature of Consciousness and the Universe always fascinated me. The universe exists in consciousness only.
I understand and feel the Universe, because what I sense by my sense organs are appreciated in the consciousness. If you search consciousness in the brain , you will not find it. It is beyond the brain and nerve cells.
When I see a flower it's redness is seen by me , only because the concept of redness is there in my mind( beyond the brain cells).If I am colour blind to red, I cannot see red. If all the people in this Earth are colour blind, there is no red Colour at all for us to discuss. And after all, what is a colour ? It is a particular frequency vibration interacting with the cones of Retina, producing a small current, which on reaching the cortical neurones, the colour is perceived. Who perceives it ? How perceived? Why perceived ?. No clear answer. It is perceived in consciousness. Because the concept of that colour is already there in mind, irrespective of the presence or absence of that colour/ frequency in the outside world. If the concept is already not there in the consciousness, you will not perceive it.
This is true for all other sensations like touch,smell or taste. In short , Universe exists in consciousness only. May be your consciousness perceive it when it is triggered by the external stimulus. But I think the inner concept of consciousness is more important. If you say that there in only inner consciousness, then outside world is an illusion.
What is consciousness ? Science does not have an answer. Because consciousness is subjective feeling.Science can deal with objective, measurable things only.
But because Consciousness is not objective , Science should not say that there is no Consciousness.
Probably in future Science will find a way to dissect it.

I liked your take on consciousness, with the example of sensing or seeing an object. In his book 'What Religion Is' Swami Vivekananda also used this case of how extra-body (and hence not inherited from parents) elements/ instincts are getting involved in the process of seeing. The impressions/ consciousness that we carried from our past births and stored in our consciousness part of the Soul (the captive Brahman). The great JK also used the same to explain Maya. He argued since the things we see is based only on the image (an unreal thing) reflected in our retina, how can we believe that what we saw was nothing but real. This is same with all we perceive through our sense organs. They are limited by their 'bandwidths'. The world we see is hence maya, or not real, he asserted.

As far as my knowledge is concerned the claustrum in brain is responsible for our connection with the consciousnesss. A scientist at RIKEN institute, Japan has proved it. From my personal experience I can say that through pineal gland the seeing of truth or experiencing the consciousness ‘as it is’ happens. It happens on its own and we can only create situation in which it happens. This experience reactivates the sleeping claustrum in brain.
The medical & vedantic definitions of consciousness are different. the medical definition (carrying coal to NC !) means, a person is conscious if he responds to an external stimulus. It is a great pictorial explanation illustrating the paradox of advita principle of Adi Sankaracharya and quantum physics. Any one reads Adi Sankaracharya philosophy and bhashyam or his commentaries you can draw a clear line between sath (only one Brahman existence) and all other observed experienced is unreal (midhya). Thanks to our Guru Swami Paramathmananda who has driven the concept in us in every class saying that conscious is not the part, product, and property of the body. To understand this we must discover the difference between subject and object or observer and observed. When you yourself are both how can we claim the experience of Brahman. So the solution is "thad twam Asi" as given in vedas.
Take an example of a sentence in many texts and poetry forms by bhaktas:
మా అమ్మ వ్రాసింది ఎంతో మంది భక్తులు చెప్పినది ఇదే "ఆత్మలో నిను నిల్పి నీలోనే లీనమై" అంటే

Where is the subject & object, and who is kartha, karma performer? All in one that is SELF - I am atma Brahma - All Upanishads converge into this, like all rivers losses their name, place of birth, travel and end up in one Ocean. జీవాత్మ పరమాత్మలో ఐక్యము అగుట. This happens when the pure mind of jeeva athma (a particle as per quantum physics terminology) gets resolved into Brahman or paramathma ( which is full of all particles which travelled in infinite time and infinite space) which is infinite, pure, no gunas/attributes - Sath, chith and Ananda. All the great saints reached the state and transact in this world to explain that Brahman.
आत्मन्येव आत्मना तुष्टह : - BhgavadGita 2nd chapter - 55 sloka - Description of merging of jeevathma with Paramathma by yoga sadhana - That person Brahman is also known as Sthitapragna. So Bhagavadgita explains how this tiny paricle merges with pure Consciousness or Brahma

I can't believe they got a nobel prize for this. We all know the Universe is real.
They proved that, with respect to experiments on quantum entangled particles, quantum mechanics was either right, or gave a better description of the results than relativity. Therefor the Einstein Podolsky Rosen Paradox was not a paradox at all, and the interaction between entangled particles is instantaneous.

The video is comprehensible for many and offers clear principles for going deeper for those experiencing what is indicated as the non-dualistic perspective within Vedantic teachings, Advaita Vedanta. As you know, Vedanta includes qualified non-dualistic and dualistic viewpoints, too. People have different approaches, and this suggests gaining some understanding as to the appearance of contradictions between the different schools of thought. This calls for an insight into Vedantic monism much more developed than emphasizing "the universe is not real." I think it is more helpful to emphasize the efficacy of practice and study of our "reality" such that the "actuality" that is fundamental to the illusion is clarified. Among us are some who have, through some action of this universe, been granted total clarity. The most established in "actuality" we have recognized as world teachers. Most of us have made some progress in emulating them if we are attracted to this nice video. But, the intricacies of Vedantic thought in its full scope do and must take into account that it is possible the worship of a "real" stone goddess has already proved perfectly suitable to completely clarify "actuality" for a few people. Quantum theory shows us the limits of our very effective scientific investigation in dispelling the physicalist ontological paradigm. Now, some physicists are exploring panpsychism in its various assertions of the ubiquitous nature of consciousness. Consciousness Studies have become a thing along with the idea there is a "hard problem of consciousness." As a student of Vedanta for over 50 years, I am excited to see the philosophical and cosmological systems extant for some 5,000 years coming into the modern scientific milieu. It has motivated me a lot to learn from these developments and find many congruencies and new insights. To be brief, I have found, for example, the Pauli-Jung Conjecture regarding quantum theory, its Priority Monism with the conjecture about basic psychophysically neutral reality with its derivative mental and physical aspects. Also, the specific panpsychism view of Cosmopsychism can be bridged from Panentheism, which in turn is exemplified by the qualified non-dualism aspect of the Vedanta.

Astonishingly incredible and you explained an excruciatingly complex topic in the most simplest way possible but it leaves with this question:
If the world is not real and is only a result of Super consciousness's consciousness or dream then that means even the consciousness within that dream(we human beings and other living entities) are also not real because our existence is also only subject to the existence of Brahm's dream. Like when we dream all the living entities in that dream has existence only till the lifespan of the dream and like other objects in the dream they are also not real and their existence is vanished as we woke up from the dream. Similarly how in this unreal world we are real when just like other objects in this world we are also a result of Super consciousness's dream or super consciousness's consciousness?
We are also not real as we are always changing if we identify with our bodies

This confusion is because the presentation jumps from "you" the observer to Brahma the Witness, as if both are the same. This is not the real teaching. The universal Entity that creates experiencing minds is not itself an experiencing mind.

Einstein laid the foundations of Quantum Mechanics. When he explained the photoelectric effect, for which he received the Nobel Prize, he proved that light comes in packets of energy which he called Quanta. The name “Quantum Mechanics” comes from here.
What bothered Einstein was the probabilistic nature of Quantum Mechanics, something he found difficult to reconcile with. But being a true scientist, he respected the mathematical calculations of his peers, accepted the evidence provided and awaited a different, more acceptable explanation.
The Nobel Prize in Physics for 2022 was awarded to the scientists Zellinger, Aspect and Clauser for their work in establishing that entangled particles violate Bell’s inequality, which in turn pioneers a lot of work in Quantum Information Science. It does not claim that all reality is an illusion or anything similar.
Quantum Mechanics is a rather difficult subject that requires a very high level of mathematical as well as experimental expertise and it is very easy to jump to wrong conclusions with inadequate knowledge.

The connection between vedanta & modern science really attracts me since long & here I got some satisfactory explanations. Namaste Mam! I bumped into your channel just recently and found it to be along the same path that myself has been treading all along to reach enlightenment. I really appreciate your contents.
Having said that, I must say that all of us seekers of the truth are continuously performing our dose of Karma yoga and Bhakti yoga every second of our life, yet the paths of Jnana yoga as practised by King Janaka and as described by the Lord himself is the hardest of them all!
Yet, I'm glad that some of us still try to inquire along this path, as I believe it complements the other two at our early stage of soul evolution, though the Lord does explain that all 3 paths are complete in themselves.

Now something on the physics aspect of your video which with great humility, I wanted to add.
When you are referring to the Quantum entanglement's TEMPORAL collapse of the wavefunction, the Delayed Choice Quantum Eraser Experiment has already been performed to explain this aspect of things, so that would reinforce the viewers belief there.
It proves that not only entangled particles "communicate" instantaneously over vast distances defying the notion of speed of light (SPATIAL collapse) but also through time i.e. a measurement performed NOW on the state of an entangled particle immediately affect the state of its entangled twin copy in the PAST.
I do not think the experiment is too complex for us layman to be able to understand its underlying principles. It will clear a lot of doubt about the "Reality" explained in the video and the one consciousness pervading the universe which is glaring in our face!

I am impressed by this presentation. It spurs me to go deeper into this subject.
I make three observations: 1. Prof D. Hoffman has been working for years on a theory of consciousness that results into quantum mechanics predictions. I don’t think he has succeeded yet ; 2. Quantum mechanics does allow practical predictions that are brought to use (lasers, quantum computing). Vedanta is not a theory in the same sense; 3. Whatever Vedanta is, it must obey the physical principle of conservation of energy. Quantum theory does obey it if the multiple worlds interpretation is accepted.

Does this imply that some other consciousness (person) is seeing me / dreaming me / bringing me into existence right now?
Also, does this mean that for all the trillions (?) of particles that make up ‘me’, each of them is entangled with another particle located at some other point and time in the universe, and if so, each of ‘my’ particles is ‘communicating’ (exchanging information) with each of those they are entangled with?
Quite enlightening explanation. I myself discovered a phenomenon that thought is real and permanent whereas an action associated with it is temporary. I also firmly believe that thought travels faster than the speed of light and can reach extreme corners of universe. It is the thought that triggers evolution. My wife and mother ask me why the life on this world is so tough. My explanation is that we are going through a long journey of evolution and it's a long way to perfection or some kind of moksha. This is just my way of explaining as understanding life is an amazingly difficult.

However the question arises that, during a dream one does not realise it, but only after waking up one knows it was a dream and he was the observer & creator of his dream.
Similarly, if this world is Maya and what we are going through is a big dream which actually exists only in one's consciousness, then how and when does one wake up to realise that it is all Maya around me.
2nd point, after one is out of his dream and wakes up, then he actually wakes up to a reality of the awakened state in which the realization of the dream happens.
Similarly when one realizes that this world is Maya, then what is the real world he wakes up to?
Excellent questions. I will try my best to answer it.
First we should understand that dream example is an analogy and it has its limitations.
Let us take your first question. Waking from the dream is not an option in this reality. The goal.of Advaitha is to make you understand you are in a dream while you are still in it. Let us say you are having a having a nightmare. You are miserable and afraid. If someone where to come to you and explain that this is only a dream and you have created this entire nightmare. This limited person who is afraid and miserable is not the real you. The real you is sleeping comfortably in a cozy bed. If you can internalize this, you will no longer be afraid of the things in your dream. This is liberation. There is a state called lucid dream when you aware that you are dreaming even while you are dreaming. In the context of the world we are in, waking up is like being in a lucid dream. You have not actually woken up. You are fully aware that this is a dream.
Your second question is from the point of view of brahman. When the universe exists it is like the consciousness has gone into a state of lucid dream. When he wakes up, the universe is gone and the only thing that exists is consciousness. This is depicted by sleeping Vishnu dreaming up the whole universe. This sleep is called yoga nidra which is similar to a lucid dream
The answer to both questions is Self-realization (no-mind or manonasha). Ramana Maharshi has described mano-nasha.🙏🏼 No-mind=no world because mind projects the world.
1st thing that was obvious to me is that one realizes these "points/questions" upon death, when consciousness joins cosmic consciousness awareness.
It is all confusing. If it is not real then there can not be any cause and effect. Karma and Karma fal don't occur.
How and when does one realise that it is all Maya around him? It may take several births, depending upon what has been ordained for the soul. But it has to be a personal experience. That personal, inner experience will aise from meditation. Just erase, unlearn everything you know and meditate to know the truth. The truth will express itself to you.
When you wake up from a dream, you wake up to the reality of the world and universe. When enlightment happens, you wake up to the reality of consciousness, which is the only reality.
Thanks madam for your explanation of consciousness and illusion in such a simple way that even those who are not interested also can easily accept. Spirituality can be understood in depth only when one experience 'spirits ' through sensory organs.

understand the theory originally was propogated a long time back by rishis.i am sure the scientists in the study would be aware of Advaita concept but chose not to acknowledge. The makers of matrix movie and inception also did not acknowledge the yoga vashistha from where they drew the main plot. Thanks for your wonderful explanation and contribution.
