Hello Suzanne, Yes I'm back, there are another two videos on here and I'm currently planning this week's episode. Thank you for returning. I hope you enjoy watching, Leanne xxx
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, I’m glad you popped by, I hope you enjoyed the show. Look forward to having you on board and being part of my Slimming World journey, you are very welcome here 🥰
Hi Leanne just catching up with ur channel. I lost my mum in 2006 & everything is a blur until 2008 I cannot remember much & do think it takes a couple of years to get back to "normality" whatever that is especially if the loss is not expected. I'm a Christian too & a sw rejoiner for 2nd time for the support & better results as taking forever on my own but I like my eating habits now. I started fasting since July & like to concentrate on my main meal. Its working for me as i was never a person who liked a big portions I dont like spending so much time preparing meals & washing up but have to cook as not a fan of processed foods. I use my time to batch cook & freeze more efficiently now. Some parts of the plan I'm not a fan off but as a weight loss & maintain plan it's a decent plan for healthy eating. I also agree its back to basics of the way I ate in childhood. Best of luck on ur journey.
Hello Dionne, Thank you for sharing, loosing a loved one is definitely a difficult and life changing experience, one you can never prepare for, even with faith it is so hard. No one really talks about it and especially if you have faith it is one that people expect you to get over it easier. The experience has brought me closer to the Father heart of God and has had a profound effect on me, deepening my compassion and love for humanity. I am not the same as I once was, death has changed my perception of life and I appreciate it more. I agree with you, it is not something you, “get over”, just like that; and actually it does take around two years to truly come to terms with the reality of “normality”. I’m glad you find shared experience through my journey as a Christian and also as someone on a journey to health. I get you with the washing up too 😉. Overall I agree with you about the plan, there are flaws in most things as with everything we are only human. I do believe structure, rhythm and routine are good disciplines for me, I think that comes for my love of my faith. It is great to meet another kindred spirit, I am so glad and blessed to have you subscribed to my channel. Have a lovely weekend, Leanne xxx
@@TheRivetts Hello Leanne just wanted to say this little chat was really nice I have found real comfort in your words & an explanation of how I have been feeling as I dont speak to my friends about how low I can feel as I like to be positive whenever I can. I am definitely more sensitive about things & I used to roll my eyes at my mum crying at the TV all the time. My mums friends showed true kindness to me but now they are passing away it's so hard to watch them suffer & lose the support they provided but this is part of life. It justs gets you down some days. I never thought as slimming world as organised & structured but that is maybe why I follow the plan to suit me & still remain interested in vloggers who live by the plan wholeheartedly. I have always been an organised person but the past few years I can get upset & anxious even if small things dont go to plan or I will cancel arrangements. I'm hoping it's just a phase I need to find my way through but I have to watch I don't become obsessive. I also agree that I have changed as a person due to bereavement I didn't think so but I have lost a bit of my party spirit. I never want to do anything social & have to be dragged out these days. Hoping this will subside if i lose some weight but it can be part of the change as I could also be menopausal. Thank you again for the lovely words they came at a good time because I find January so hard it's a cold dark grey long month. Really looking fwd to February as I prefer my fresh start to begin then. I get all the Christmas food goodies gone & get ready for lent plus the evenings get lighter & I can focus on what I need to get done. I really appreciate your time taken & have taken some points you mentioned on board its good to know others feel the same way. Are you a preacher of some form. My mum was a bereavement counsellor & got her lay preacher certificate which I treasure. Sorry for the long message but julesthelazycook & Trudie Beanie are also great accounts to follow if u don't already. Debbie Tracey & Budget slimmers have helped me so much the past few years by sharing their journeys. I plan to catch up on ur old vids as I see you also did ww. I've done both so I'm interested to see your views. Hope you have a lovely week ahead🙏🏽❤😀.
