As a man turning 40 in a few weeks, I've concluded that it's a woman's responsibility to chase and make an effort... Why?

Angle your body so that you're 60/70/80/90 degrees from her and tilt your head a little towards her but don't crane your neck all over, you want to give her " side-eye " ( the eye that is nearest to her is gonna be giving her the prolonged gaze back, your other eye is there for peripheral vison ) head down slightly, look at her with a cheeky little smile and hold that gaze until she looks back at you. She will look back at you. She will see your smile and realize that she's been caught eyeing you up. She will either give you a little smile and turn her head away, or she will look down. As soon as she catches you giving her a little smile, have a little chuckle to yourself - she'll see this. Then in a nice calm unhurried manner, stand up, walk over to her with your drink and say " Hi, I'm ...... ". The tone and volume which you speak is about 93% relevant. The other 7% is what you say. Make lots of eye contact and smile.
