The most "Ludwig-esque" Rogers kit I've ever heard. I know they were not too far as for shell construction back then but AFAIK Rogers bearing edges were cut a little bit sharper than Ludwig's and my ear's always been able to catch it.... not this time! Anyway, great sounding and looking kit there!!!!!
I wish I had as much fun at work as Steve does!
Love it! I have a 12, 16, 22 1968 celebrity in red onyx. It's my favorite to play. Paul's cymbal sound great also!
Beautiful kit!!!, Steve yer having way too much fun !!
wow such a nice setup all around. music to my ears...nice playing too by the way. ;-)
You play very nice. You allow the drums to sing their notes. Nice touch sir.
Mr Maxwell an absolute legend you are!! 🥁🥁🥁
I have always maintained that vintage Rogers Drums are the best sounding drums...ever.
Then why did Buddy Rich use Fibes snares with these..?
Very cool! I have a rogers set exactly like this, also in champagne, but 20,12,14. I'll show it to you sometime.
Killer kit,and your chops, clean, can't beat rogers,.
I'll take it! Gorgeous sounds!
Absolutely rad.
Great stuff. I continue to gig with my '60s era champagne sparkle Rogers kit to this day.
It’s that great Rogers sound
Awesomeness.
Nobody really talked about shells back then. It was hardware that sold drums. Rogers had the best. All brands sounded great back then.

Yeah it looks and sounds close to the beautiful 1960's Ludwig Silver Sparkle kit.
