    That red interior is amazing, it's definitely not very common. I wish I could have found one with the red.

      It really is! I love the color combination. I wanted red interior in my M3 as well, but settled for black (which I also love). I get compliments about the coral red all the time though haha

    Your car looks great, I have a 340i base and I’ve done exhaust mods,new wheels and tires, and some carbon but next I want to get the m sport package and a tune. The carbon on your car looks great 👍🏽

    I’ve moved from Audi A3 to an F31. Massive boot for kids stuff etc. Plus the 335d is very nice too. For a diesel it sound good due to the 6c 😀

    If you kick your foot center under the roundel, the trunk opens. Don't even need to unlock the doors. The thing I love most is that boost comes in early, and gives instant power. Even if coming off a corner, there's no lag. Also, 7-9 psi is conservative enough for power, reliability, and good gas mileage.

    • @accelerated_motion
      @accelerated_motion  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I definitely need more practice with the trunk! And I agree with you - theres little to no lag, which makes this car so responsive. I love it! Perfect daily.

    • @griffin_kith6214
      @griffin_kith6214 ปีที่แล้ว

      Up it to 15 and you’ll have a smile on your face everytime you step on it. Stock turbos max out at 25psi it’s still relatively conservative to run anything under 20 for the most part

  • @dedan2
    @dedan2 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    For the trunk, kick your foot forward instead of the sweeping motion from left to right. Try to do it in the middle of the bumper. Love my F36. Took a bit of getting used to

    New to the channel. Looking at the 335 makes me want to upgrade so much. Recently totaled my F30 328. Thinking about September before I move to Texas I should buy a M sport 335 but it’s so hard to find one on Carmax.

    Nice vid. You have to practice with the rear sensor, I can do it 100% of the time, now... my wife has the issue you do.
    Backseat room on the f31/f31 is the same as the e34 5 series believe it or not. Works fine with kids... I have a HS senior, middle schooler and 3 year old that all fit fine. Mine has the heated rear seats as well as heated steering wheel. Absolutely great car to own and DD.

    • @accelerated_motion
      @accelerated_motion  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I always forget that I have the trunk sensor haha I need to practice more for sure!
      Its crazy how much bigger cars have gotten over the years. I'm not that old but even when I was younger, I remember thinking how spacious cars were and now I think my perception of cars has changed. As cars get bigger and bigger over the years, it makes "normal" sized cars seem small. If that makes any sense haha

    Adam u knocked out of the park again. Classy, informative and always sharp on the info and details! Watching your videos I always earn something, the parking aid gives you the distance info front and back, never used it before but it’s a tremendous tool, thanks again and please keep bringing excellent content as usual, kudos to the accelerated motion channel 🏆👏

      Adam - Great Videos! Car looks amazing. Have a 2016 low mileage 340i bought new. Been very reliable with routine maintenance and oil changes every 5K miles. Agree the 437M wheels are best looking I’ve seen on the F30 bar far. Mineral Gray with black wheels looks sharp. No idea why you don’t have more viewers. New fan and subscriber. Keep up the excellent content. Stay Well!

    Hey, I've been watching a lot of your videos lately as I'm in the market for this exact same car. Just wondering, how is the reliability? How much should I expect to spend in maintenance every year and what parts should I be looking out for when going to buy the car. Great video though the car looks insane man!

    • @accelerated_motion
      @accelerated_motion  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! Go check out my One Year of Ownership video. I havent had issues at all, other than a blown chargepipe. Maintenance isnt anything more than a normal car, except oil changes cost a bit more. But I DIY majority of my maintenance (oil change video coming soon).

    since you had an infinity, which is more reliable? I am stuck between a q50 and a 335i

    • @accelerated_motion
      @accelerated_motion  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I was eyeing the Q50 as well. I think the 335 is a nicer car all around. But maintenance cost will be more. Mods will be more. Also depends what model years you’re looking at. The q50 with the older VQ is extremely reliable.

    I have a simple but important question that maybe you guys can help me with. I have driven/owned an e30 325is and an e90 sedan, but am considering a 2014 335xi M-Sport with a 6-Speed. So it's literally the best 3-Series F30 you can buy without going to the M3. My question is, does this car in "Sport Plus" mode feel as nimble and buttoned-down as the much loved e90 generation? This is really important to me as I am thinking of buying that car online without ever driving one. And I have heard a lot of complaints online and on TH-cam that BMW has lost it's way with the chassis dynamics. Thanks to all that respond! -Dave

    • @accelerated_motion
      @accelerated_motion  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I owned an e90 335 a few years ago as well. I would say that the F chassis is still nimble, but the steering takes some getting used to since it’s electronic. That was my biggest complaint initially, but I’ve gotten used to it. Additionally, I wasn’t a big fan of the stock MSport suspension on both my e90 and f30. So I went aftermarket on both.

    • @accelerated_motion

      Tune is your biggest bang for the buck. It also depends what tune you run and how much boost you're adding.
