I use Liinback's api instead of yt2009/NexTube for the videos list and I use NexTube for only video playback.
I run Liinback's api in port 443 and NexTube for video playback in port 80.
There's a official patcher program for Liinback, but I tested the channel, and the servers keep on going down and down, then I tried v2 of the channel, expect no video playback is supported and sometimes the server goes down as well, so that's why I host my own instead of begging for someone to make public instances, and you should too, unless you can't do it, I can understand your trouble.
