Awesome 3m boats. A 9.9 is underpowered though and the nose trimmed down. Trim nose up slightly and put a 15hp and you have a rocket ship that really can go offshore. Guys in Australia do it all the time. That's one nasty bar though. Well done !

That was an extremely calm day for that inlet.
That boat handles better than half a million dollar ones I've seen go through there.

@@AliexFolgueira Indian River inlet in Delaware is another rough one especially when its busy. I've been pretty nervous on larger boats let alone a smaller craft like that.

Get nasty sometimes
The cut was not running when you went through it - When the cut is running your little boat would in the middle of two 7 ft waves you would be looking up at as you come through the cut - plus right affer you clear the waves you hit a current that would stop your forward momentum until your little engine could push it through. I don't think the 9.9 would do it!
One thing for sure. That boat is safe on any lake.

even with bith waves, the way these people film this it makes it look like he boat is going under when it isnt, if you get close you will see yeah big wave but no problem, some do get stuffed sometimes

I have the older model Tuff Tender with a 20 Hp Suzuki ( same weight as max horsepower 15 ) This was nothing that this boat can do.
Alex I think I saw a center console made out of the same stuff or maybe something else but it was plastic & at a distance it looked just like a fiberglass boat lol but it was pricy.so as for Me being poor at that price I'm going have to try waiting a few years to hope there's a used one in good shape lol I can't wait to long because I'm already 56 years old my wife is 55 still fighting stage 4 cancer we're hoping & 🙏 praying to beat the cancer. Stay safe out there on them pirogue lol.

@@AliexFolgueira yes you know what is up, lower tide means more energy pushing upwards creating more swell, incoming tide is always best because when water is leaving the river it has to exit a small exit where as incoming tide it enters small then goes big but less water comes in at onc

It has to be said. You picked a wimpy day at Haulover. I have watched hours of boat being washed under and people ejected into the ocean at Haulover. The boat did well thats reality but the sea was your friend today.
Nasty secret of Haulover is that is is mostly like this! The other channels spend weeks filming just to get those boats that look like they are going under and never do! Like for real that content is as fake as hell it all depends on the angles too, watch this video closely you will see that from far away it looks like our boat is next to the big boat but in reality it is far away

@@AliexFolgueira Haven't taken it out yet colder here than there. The Marathon Guardian is a 4 sheilded bearing graphite reel. Its smooth as butter out of the box. Got a 4000 series gonna put some 20# braid on it, bout 200 yds. Looks good too.
@@AliexFolgueira Wife has had 3 surgeries in the last 2 months. We had a scare 3 days ago and she went in to repair a hernia that had already been repaired. Looks good now.

Dude that was okay. But that inlet is calm compared to most days I've seen it on video. I've seen 15/ 20 ft swells out there. 30to 40 footers getting swamped.

I hope they bolted that outboard on or it may spin off the transom and it doest look like its not trimmed up enough its plowing the bow.
it was properly set up
you dont trim a small outboard that transom in 36cm a short shaft engine fits perfect just the hull shape, no need to bolt it in as it is so light
@@adamgray7185 so light? A 9.9 can spin off a transom...has nothing to do with weight prop torque can spin them right off even when you THINK you have it clamped tight enough.

Everybody always flips out when they see the price and claim they could buy an aluminum boat for way cheaper! Yeah, take that cheap flat bottom over the haulover and see if you come out the other side!

A decent aluminum one with a hull would probably cost you more. Like $2500 plus the trailer.
@@joesmith4222 I still wouldn't cross haulover in a 12ft vhull! Those small vhulls are not made for these big waves, the tuffy on the other hand is wider, has a unique hull designed for offshore, plus the material is boyant itself, the tuffy will not sink!
@@dred5375 cause america makes shit boats if you grab a tinny (ally boat) from Australia you can cross big swell and waves ive got a little tinny 3.5miters with a 15hp and crossed my bar (a inlet) many times even in 4ft waves just requires skill and knowledge. go watch some australian bar crossing videos you will see the waves we cross. americans are just full show offs who dont know much

I had one for 4 years in Australia with a 15hp Yammie 2 stroke - just flies.
Safe, ultra stable, dry, unsinkable, huge fun. Very high demand used her in Australia.
Some people use these for offshore fishing... Now have a larger Smartwave 3500 with 25 hp. Also plastic fantastic.

From far it looks like the boat is sinking yet while you are on the boat it doesn’t look like that

How many miles can you go on a full tank
We haven’t tested that but it is very fuel efficient
We checked this boat out and was actually disappointed. Little to high in price, but also to many scratches and scuffs and these boats are poorly made and the molds look bad.

Make your own scupper holes if I was the owner of the blue tub.
It has a drain plug in the back you can pull when under power that will drain water out.

I have a 2002 455 left in water all it’s life with scorching summers besides having inground dirt the boats strength and integrity is still the same the day I bought it.
