Sir, Thanks a lot for your tutorials. They are short yet straight to the point and easy to follow. Please keep them coming.. I just wanted to show my appreciation for your efforts. I am learning a lot.
Hi. Thanks for such a simple but very powerful tutorial. I have one question, is it possible to use Falloff in this setup? So that I have the ability to control the time to trigger the effect and also a specific place on the object where the Peel Effect will start? Let me know if my question is understandable and if not, I will try to bring some example video or image. TIA
@@timjdesign Cool, thank you very much! Although, I'm not so expert in Houdini, so I have to scratch my head to understand how to do it. ))) But, let's see.
Hi! Thank you so much for this tutorial. I was wondering how would you go about applying texture material to the top layer? The UV seems to stay put, not moving with the flying pieces.
@@timjdesign Thank you so much for your reply! I actually managed to figure it out. I had a box projection plugged into my material. Took me a while before I noticed :D
You can control the speed of the peeling with break constraints or a stronger force. Also you can increase or decrease it with the timescale parameter in the Vellum Solver.
Very helpful ! Simple and easy to understand :D thankyou!

Thanks alot. that would be very motivating and kich of course! new videos will be coming soon! I relly like your comment!
Thank you for your tutorial. It is really helpful. I have a question. How do I break apart smaller pieces of that peeling meshes?

Hay! Sure! You can animate the break condition over time. For example with a mask from geometry.

Hay! What kind of method do you use for uvs?

well done!
I was checking your peel and it's really good, cool work.
just would be nice to slow down the start, but it's a question that I have : )
thanks.
I think a good way to slow down the star is to play with the wind value over time and the breaking value. Thanks Alfredo! :)
yes, looks better. I used timeshift and it worked for me too : )
thanks.
Thank You very much!
