Hey everyone! Thanks for tuning into this Top 10 video, I have really enjoyed making this little series and hearing your opinions on what weapons are best. Again, feel free to let me know what you think of today's Top 10 and what weapons you would include! I appreciate all the support and I hope you all have a great weekend :)
Great video, any changes I'd make be would be purely subjective ;) I'd have the backhand blades somewhhere in the top 5, probably in place of the falx. Bolt would probably move up a space... Sword of Night would probably move up to the 7 or 8 positon. Dancing Blade Of Ranah would probably be somewhere between 6-10 (just did a lovely NG+! run with them)... again all subjective from the feel I had doing runs with them.
Yeah, valid points, I personally don't like the backhand blades/prefer the others on this list but definitely does way more damage compared to sword of night for instance. They are definitely worth mentioning :)
You were right the first time. Powerstancing the Bandits Curved Sword is far superior to the Scavengers Curved Sword… 1. Nagakiba w/ Double Slash & BloodFlame Blade 100% does NOT outperform Rob. As cringe as RoB is, Corpse Piler outperforms. I’ve tested it and RoB was better and it wasn’t that close to my surprise. 2. How did you possibly leave Guardian Swordspear & Godskin Peeler off this list? They’re both incredible Dex weapons and clearly deserve to be on this list. Huge oversight…
I'm surprised to see the nagakiba rank so high. I like it for exploring where a fast weapon helps sort out dogs or ambushes, but I've never had much luck with it against the more dangerous field enemies like sacred bird warriors and horned warriors, whereas, as long as you get the first strike, the old bloodhound fang destroys these. Perhaps it's my skills.
Golden vow + flame grant me strength + keen piercing fang ash is my go to at the moment. It just shreds all bosses. The attacks do require proper timing.
Milady with wing stance is actually one of the highest DPS weapons in the game, bar none. Keen with bloodflame to hope for a bleed or lightning affinity. You also get pretty good stance damage out of the heavy version of wing stance, so you'll reliably get some crits, as well. I would also include cross naginata instead of zweihander. The unique spear moveset is great, and pairing it with piercing fang makes it just incredible. This or the nagakiba are my go-to base game dex weapons for early game.
Wing stance is definitely the better AoW compared to what I was using - I know I briefly mentioned it, but I didn't want to include status changes/affinity changes too much as again, it would just turn into a list of curveswords/same weapon 10x with a different affinity. In NG+7 I just prefer Zwei compared to things like naginata so that's why that's there too :)
@ it’s all good. I’ve not seen you make a whip build. One day when you’re bored (as if you have time to be) give it a “crack”. I’m sure you could make a much better build than me. 🌺❤️
Yeah that's what my build is about that I linked it to - I was keeping it just as it is for pure dex but when you have 2 of them and add bleed & cold... they're actually so broken!
Coz not everyone has played it/seen it and tbf, if something destroys base game, it destroys DLC - if you have max scadutree, just 2x the damage you see in the vid as that's basically the conversion with scadu ratings :)
@@tkcjazza at this point everyone and their mom saw the DLC 😂 And it's not true that if it destroys in base game it'll be equally good in the DLC, especially on higher NG, scadutree level or not, also nor everyone has maxed out scadutree, basically, base game does not equal DLC aaaand twice the damage as you say is put against higher defense/hp bosses so you really can't say it's that literal increase
@@para-noxis not really… there’s a LOT of people still waiting til Christmas break to either get it (as a present) or have time to even think about playing it because of work/life etc. it is true that if something blasts through base game (like falx/claws) they will blitz DLC too. And the damage is doubled when at max scadutree, because when you do that, you have 100% boost to AR (x2 damage)
I kinda have to respectfully disagree also. You can tear new holes in the demigods in the base game and still not deal as much damage in the DLC. That doesn’t mean that it’s not viable, because every weapon and build is viable, but you would need more effort to rip through the bosses with the exception of a handful of builds that can destroy DLC bosses. This is all especially true once you’ve reached NG+7, when the bosses are at their tankiest. I believe that’s the sole reason my most other content creators demonstrate their builds at NG+2 at MOST. Because once you go beyond that, the builds don’t seem to broken anymore and you get diminishing returns with dps.
I don't think it does bro - the damage I was doing was WITHOUT additional bleed/buffs like bloodflame blade so you can easily deal another 20 - 30% extra damage than what I was doing in the vid - I didn't use them because I was keeping a fair test for all weapons - Flamberge is VERY good, but to say it outperforms Nagakiba is something I wouldn't agree with :)
@tkcjazza Keen Nagakiba +25 has a 242 base damage with 45 inate bleed & A scaling in dex Keen Flamberge +25 has a 275 base damage, 55 inate bleed & an A scaling in dex with greatsword stance damage. It's a better weapon
@@ViolentMessiah666 yes but the nagakiba is also much faster and piercing fang that comes on it is ofc pierce damage so deals more damage naturally & with critical hits - have a look at the damage I am doing with the Naga in the vid - if you can do more damage per second with only 70dex and 20str with GV, Howl and rakshasa armour as buffs (and talismans like two-handed and millicent pros etc) then fair enough :)
yeah, there was some weapons I overlooked, tbh, I rarely used that weapon but I do know how good it is! It would probably be somewhere in the middle, possibly just below Bolt :)
@@murcaronisalad5322 deaths poker featured in my Int list as the ash is the main thing with that and scales best with Int - but swordspears are very nice :)
Yea I would say this is peak reddit IGN clickbait, there's no objective measurements, list seems to be catered to PvE exclusive yet misses a number of weapons and weapon categories that function well in PvE, list a number of weapons that simply infuse well as "Dex" weapons when that is not their most optimal infuse and list a number of quality weapons as being Dex focus weapons. Also Sword of Night is criticised for having magic damage but Claws of Night (which are being put at first place for some reason) also have magic damage and less of it too boot, which makes the usual "Muh flat defenses" argument moot Honestly with the different arguments he makes I'm surprised keen spiked caestus didn't make first place considering it is a weapon that infuses well, performs amazingly in PvE and just generally the best weapons in the game, and Is actually good in PvP unlike half of the picks here
@@dalf_souls2199 clearly haven't been keeping up with the series - for each stat we have done, I have included weapons that are dedicated for that stat NATURALLY - so weapons like death's poker won't feature as they have scalings in a different stat like INT When you're talking about quality weapons I assume you mean things like milady/venomous fang which actually have a better Dex scaling - I also did NOT infuse the weapons with any other status/affinity to make it fair. The whole "sword of night is criticised for magic damage but claws is first" thing is something I even mentioned in the video - I don't know why claws are so good, and sword of night is nowhere near because on paper, the sword of night should be much better - It will be something to do with motion values and damage multipliers behind the scenes. Feel free to tell us these weapons that I missed and then we can compare :)
Of course, but as for our lists, we’re looking at weapons in their natural state - if I was looking at it like this, strength/dex/arcane list would be exactly the same weapons pretty much as you could just change the affinity to fit the respective list - but yeah, pretty much any weapon that you can change to just pure strength is going to do better damage :)
Claws of Night are insane - If you get 2 venomous fangs and add bleed & frost (one on each) that is actually so broken - That build is in the description :)

Next series: top 10 of each damage type (with all 4 physical types too)
Yeah, was thinking of doing top 10 sorceries/incantations too
Lightning isnt possible lol

I've (expat) been waiting for this one from you. Thanks Jazza. It fits perfectly for my current run.
No worries my dude! Sorry to keep you waiting so long ;) - I hope you're doing well though!
Just use the nagakiba and move forward to start a new age, THE AGE OF JAZZA
Great vid, only thing I’d change is the Nagakiba at 1 but only because it was my first dex weapon and I love katanas
1. Rakshasa 2. Milady 3.falx 4. Backhand
Very nice! Rakshasa was a little too slow for me to put it higher but it’s definitely a good weapon :)
Good vid as always.
Hey, thank you so much, I really appreciate the comment
Big fan of the black knives. They melt enemies away. But they lack in range very badly.

Flamberge outperforms Nagakiba it every area: more dps, more bleed & greatsword stance damage with the same scaling. Super underrated weapon
