    Story - Kopal Agarwal
    / _kopal.agarwal_
    By 2018 I had started gaining so much weight that my relatives started mocking me, ‘Tum to kafi moti hogyi ho’ they’d say but I ignored them. But the worst was yet to come. The lockdown happened and out of stress eating, my weight shot up to 91 kgs.
    My cousins started cracked jokes by calling me ‘Chota hathi’ and ‘Dharti ka bhoj,’ I was a topper in studies, good at dancing, singing, and painting, but all everyone noticed was my weight. Such insensitive comments made me hate my body. Looking in the mirror gave me goosebumps. I wasn’t on social media, because I thought I didn't look good.It was the lowest time of my life, and I had to change it.
    It was my college's fifth year when I made fat loss my goal. My mom supported me through it. From taking proper nutrition to working out, I did everything- followed a proper calendar. I cut out all the junk and started being consistent with my workouts and diet.
    Soon I started enjoying my lifestyle changes and the gym became my second home- a safe space where I learnt how to love myself.
    Within the next 6 months, I lost about 25 kgs of weight, by just being consistent and disciplined- I wanted to prove everyone wrong and that was my motivation; that I can do it if I put my mind to it.
    There was a time, when guys would bro-zone me just for my looks, but now there are millions of them in my DMs.
    Girls, work on yourself, you have no idea what the world has to offer you, if you just start loving and believing in yourself.”

    We should not make fun of this but also if her cousins would've said her to workout for herself that would've been okay... Coz she is not suffering from any disease so why not stay fit!? Overweight is not smthg to make fun of but also not something to happily accept (unless you r gaining weight due to some disease, then you have nthg to do)

      I lost 10 kgs in less than 30 days. Similar thing happened with me. Used to be fit, but got fat. After hearing friends compare me with another fat friend, I got that burning desire inside. Started cycling 30-40 kms/day. I would usually stop once in between, and used to cough a lot at the start due to weariness. Only used to drink milk 2 times, ate only fruits, and a bowl of rice once a day. Got fit again in no more than 1 + ½ month.

      Agar aapko jaldi aur acche results lana hai to beta sirf exercise se kam nahi chalega. Aapko intermittent fasting karna hoga. Suruwat 12 ghante ke fast se shuru kar ke dhire dhire fasting window badhate jaana.16-8 fasting se aapka andaje 3 kg per month fat kam hoga. Diet me fiber protin jyada aur carbs kam lena. Fasting bada aasan hai bas roj ke khane ke waqt khana nahi khaye to body bhukh ke signal deta hai magar hame nahi khana 5-6 din ke bad bhukh ke signal aane band ho jayenge. Aap jeet jaonge . God bless you beta.

    I am girl who has been fat and chubby for almost half of my life till 15. On top of that covid made my life more drastic but that's when my mother started just motivating me in doing exercise for a healthy life. At first I often became angry and would shout at her however I listened to her. Slowly I began to notice my body being somewhat fit....day by day the negativity in me began deteriorating and my skin, body everything seemed to me that the impossible became possible....I began to love my workout hours....what motivated me even more was my parent even bought a cycling machine for my happiness also the satisfaction I felt after every day was wholesome... Thats how I went from 80kg to 56kg in 1and half year in such a small age...

    Well....i am an overweight girl with 94 kgs to my weight loss journey, I'm 91kgs right now. Tbh i never hated my body. Neither before nor today and neither any day in future. I loved my body when it was 94 and i love my body when it is 91 and I would continue to love it even when I would loose weight. I loved dressing up, clicking pictures and pampering myself. It's not that only weight loss brings glow to your face. It's the mind game. How you mentally take it. If you're okay with what you are, you would naturally glow. Fat or slim. You can always improvise. I just realised it that being overweight can cause trouble to my body and began my weight loss journey not just because someone told me these things. You should never hate your body just because you're fat. People used to call me all these things you have been through and it never bothered me because ' I was who i was, if i was fat, i was fat, no contemplations in it.' I would still smile the brightest , dress the best and be confident. Loosing weight i am doing rn and I'm doing it for myself, for the love i have for my body. Girl never go for looks , always go for self development. Never disregard yourself just because someone said something. Even if in future you gain weight, have no guilt. Always be in your spirit and start again because this is life.

    Why every transformation starts at gym? Not possible in home?

    • @AK.AK.12
      @AK.AK.12 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Probably not to that extent in that amount of time. There are a ton of equipment in the gym, and once you get yourself in that environment you’re mentally prepared to push yourself. If you can’t go to the gym, working out outdoors is the next best option.
