In Our Group this “tool” is affectionately called ”The Beast” . . . It has joyously brought a dear friend back to golf and fellowship with friends. There is definitely a place for it in this golfing world!!! I’ve sent him this link as his old model stays in a state of disrepair constantly . . . Hoping this one is more sturdy . . . Love your content Rick . . . all the way from the Carolinas!!!
That is awesome, I am all for getting more older and physically handicapped people out if this helps then its a major winner (excuse the pun) in my book!
Love the ending! LOL That club needs something like prongs or tees that anchor it to the ground - that'll ensure more energy is transferred to the ball. Every time you press the button it moves backwards. Needs to be anchored.
Rick I had a severe stroke 7 years ago aged 39 whilst playing off 5 and for the scratch team of my club, best round was a 3?under par gross 68, 1 shot off equalling the course record, I lost all movement in my left arm and hand and haven’t been on a course since! I gave my Nike Blades to my 15 year old nephew who has started playing, this club looks fun although my problem is my mobility and would not be able to walk the terrain of a course! Loved video though!!
Absolutely get out there and give it a try! I used to live outside of a military base in the U.S. and there was a golf course on post (the base). They always had these available for veterans/active service members who may have been injured or disabled in some way so they could still get out and enjoy. You'd be surprised what you can do even with limited mobility.
For those who are in the construction / tool industry, these are the exact same capsules which Hilti use to fire their nail guns. Going by what they sell (and in order of power), you have yellow, red and black cartridges.
Issue i see would be that the chamber and mecanism may not resist the higher pressure of stronger shells, and the thing could explode. It would need a thourough testing behind protective walls, and an inspection to see how it fares after many high power shots
8:50 I'd like to imagine that none of them care about the club, and this is just the backup on the hole after Rick's been there trying for a hole-in-one. Great video as always, Rick.
I'm not used to Rick swearing and although it was bleeped out, him saying "That's gone a fXing long way that" made me laugh so much. Thank you for another great video and a great chuckle too.
Great for people who want to play golf. With a physical problem or some sort. And enjoy the outdoors. Yes I would love to see how the more powerful cartridges work. Love your videos. I’ve been playing golf since I was 18 yrs old. Now I’m 57.
Hi Rick, after watching your first video I ummed & arghed for a good while whether to buy one being a Tetraplegic electric wheelchair user…I eventually bought the bullet no pun intended! I’ve been using it first at home into a net then at the driving range in Preston. I had to tweak it a little to adapt as I have no finger movement but absolutely loved it gave me such a buzz and upset a few people using Toptracer as I was playing every kind of shot with precision. Still took some practice from the wheelchair but it was incredible!! Sadly no course around me would let me on their courses! Gutted is an understatement!! None of the courses around Lancaster would let me on because of the wheelchair! I wasn’t expecting to be allowed on the greens, understandably so I knew that but none would let me on the fairways either so I’ve been confined to the range 😢 Love the club and would recommend to anyone who can’t swing anymore. #power2golf 11:16
@@cpowell1972 They're liars, sorry to hear about that. Not sure what you can do since I don't know what country you are in but it sounds like discrimination
I’m gutted that you can’t play. Just BS something about having a lawyer versed in discrimination suits for the disabled. they would probably crap their pants and let you play
I wonder if you'd get more distance if you put your foot behind the club, so that it doesn't push backwards upon impact? Worth another video to find out! 😉
Depends on the venting I would guess. That dial for a lower distance shot must mean not all of the expanding gas from the blank will go to the piston, but it has to go somewhere since it's the same load in each blank.
I’m a young guy and can swing fine but it is really reassuring to know something like this exists if either myself or someone I love is no longer able to swing a club. Can still get out on the course and have a great time. Just knowing that brings me a lot of joy. Thanks Rick for highlighting this!
Looks like a great deal of fun. We used to use the (black coloured) strongest cartridges in hilt guns to fire nails into concrete and steel. If I remember correctly, the yellow ones are the least powerful. Don't leave any unused cartridges lying around. they are very dangerous! The end was the only way to finish. Hilarious! 👏👏👏
Absolutely brilliant. I’m in my early 60s still trying to swing like a young man. When I’m too old will get its equivalent👍🏻. Best vlog you’ve done in ages!! Well done Ric
I have 2 of these clubs and love them. I am a 74 year old man that can no longer make a full swing due to lower back and SI joimt problems. I should note that the manufacture dose not recommend using the power club in sand traps. I first purchased the club 2 years ago. I use the club to get on or near the green, then just chip and putt like any other golfer. I carry only 3 clubs in my bag, the Power2Golf Club, a 7 iron to chip with and a 48 inch long putter so I don't need to bend down to putt. If you love golf but have a disability like me get yourself one and get out on the course and have fun again.
I have used this club in Iowa. It was with the National Blind Veteran Golf Tournament. We used it when it first came out. Howard Weedon Herrin Illinois 10:23
The ending was so good!!! Lol wasn't expecting that at all man. I love this club. Seems like so much fun for a couple days a year. Don't give this to someone drinking too much though. Lol You should challenge Andy, Pete or Fryer using only this club. 100%
It is fascinating so yes get the more powerful bullets. I'm glad you mentioned who this club is intended for. Those who love the game but physical limitations have hindered their ability to play. Great video!
I tore my scapholunate ligament a couple of years ago playing golf. I do not want to have the reconstructive surgery.... I would definitely use this club to get back out on the course and play again.
I bought one of these for my dad, the company makes you sign up for a subscription to get the "load charges" but they are just booster caliber yellow strip loads. red ones are more powerful, but have not tried those yet
The last time you tried this club I commented that this would be great for someone like me, who has an artificial leg . I have trouble with balance through my swing. Looks ideal.
I recently became disabled and was wondering how I'd be able to make a round of golf work. I've been watching you for years but forgot about the previous version of this. Definitely going to check this out.
Me and the guys bought this for a buddy who lost his arm in a train accident. Hes still good with putter. We are trying to find the most lightweight wedges. But he loves this thing. He's slowly practicing the long ball with one arm. But atleast this does the trick until he does feel comfortable enough with his one arm swing
Anything that allows people with an inability to swing a golf club for one reason or another and still participate in this great game is a big thumbs up from me
Had a rough night of golf tonight for me. Wasn't able to finish the round as it was too hazardous. Nearly stepped on a rattlesnake on the fairway on the first hole and the mosquitos were on us like a blanket as well.
Great video, Rick. Loved every minute of it. The last shot reminded me of the old Golfing Gorilla joke. He hit everything 600 yds. straight down the middle including 5 ft. putts.
It reminds me of those hammers that use blanks to hammer into concrete. The tool used at the end if the film Equalizer. Not knowing UK firearm laws, I would think this club would be similar to a starters pistol at a track meet, as they both use blanks.
Awesome! Definitely try the more powerful shots please. If the makers of this club would put a putter face on either side it would be the only club in my bag 😂
True story. This club was invented on a US TV show in the 90’s by comedian Tim Allen on Home Improvement, when Payne Stewart guest stared on the show in “salute to golf” episode.
Hi Rick, as you might know it’s based of a construction tool so those yellow “bullets” have the smallest gun powder content. Red is medium and black is strongest…. Also have even bigger sized ones after those 😂
Not sure if you can buy the fastener shells at the hardware store like we can in the US but yes they have different strengths and we shoot golf balls out of 22 rifle and pistols with a threaded can attachment. A rifle will go as far as your driver with the stronger ones, your club might not be rated for that. 🤷♀️
The ending was f*** HILARIOUS!!!!!
For a second I thought of course for the content end it with an Eagle. Clean easy ending for the views. But that was 😂😂😂 LOVED IT RICK!
Certainly caught me by surprise 😂💀
It was the “Whoops” for me 😂😂😂
He didn’t leave it short 🤷🏻♂️
I wanted to see him putt with it one time.
We need a 9 hole match between Rick and Finch using just this club
Need and want are different.
Rick could beat Scheffler with this thing 😂
Yes yes yes
We just need more finch
My money's on Finch lol

RIP your foot 😂
or even hold it further down so you have proper control of the club rather than the end of it

The strip going into the club reminds me of those shot rings for cap guns we used to play with as kids!! Same idea but a lot more powerful I guess!!
Definitely, but they are exactly what is used with a ram set fastening tool.
They are for nail guns to fasten studs to concrete. ( single or in strips).
They smelled stunning after use 😂

Brilliant and such a good idea for those who can no longer play! Well done Rick.
Great content, the coming up next and switching back and forth to the studio is genius.
I love when you get back to your roots and do videos like this. Yes please get the hotter rounds for this club.
Great to see you enjoying yourself on the course!

Of course Rick, we would want to see the more powerful bullets!! Keep up the great work, Rick we all love your videos.
Great vid Rick. Really entertaining. Thanks 🙏
What a great video. Club is fantastic for people with limited mobility. Just an awesome invention. Also, the end was hilarious. 😂
What a great time, thanks Rick!
My favourite video of yours to date, well done
We'd like lots more videos with this club! That was great Rick!
Such fun! Can’t wait to see the results with the more powerful “bullets”!

Yes to the more powerful bullets. Curious to see the max potential. Pretty cool that you can still shape shots to a degree with it.
This is awsome Rick! YES, please try to get the most powerful "bullets"!!!
