I will get some more to send in, hopefully some extras, but I will wait until I get a bunch together. I did just get 6 back from PSA that I need to do a reveal for.
Awesome set! I was never able to find hockey back then, so unfortunately, my collection really only goes back to 88. I bought a complete set of O-Pee-Chee many years ago.
It's great because of all the awesome veteran players that we grew up watching. OPC is the way to go if you want the complete set. Better Canadian team representations and many more cards. Harder to put together as well with fewer cards in the packs.
Maybe this will help with Gary Suter….years ago in the Canada Cup he injured Wayne Gretzky with a dirty hit and I remember a fan had a sign that said something like “hey Canada neuter Suter” (since they rhymed) haha
Denis Potvin = Den-ee, Gary Suter =Soo-ter, Michel Goulet = you were right! Rollie Melanson = Role-ee. In fact, his nickname was Rollie the Goalie; it rhymes!
The 2 Montreal Canadiens Rookie Cards of Stephane Richer and Claude Lemieux are also in this 1987 Topps set. They played on the New Jersey Devils together, as well.
@@montrealsports29 Really? I didn't even know that! What I do know is, Richer scored 50 goals twice during the late 80s and early 90s. He was my favourite Montreal Canadiens player.
Some really clean looking cards and some legends to boot. Love the Bourque sticker!
All Star Stickers have been fun, unexpected.
Solid packs. That Gretzky looked nice. Possible PSA 8-9 at first glance

@@Hockeytube19 looking forward to that!
@@jd66cards I keep thinking 9-10's right out of the pack...but they keep coming back 7-8's! 🤨
@@Hockeytube19 yea old cards are tough! Makes you appreciate the 9's and 10's even more
I loved the look of these cards .. and some nice solid hits
@@johnwilson4383 yes, I had to re-watch it again, I forgot!
1987-88 OPC set is 264 cards... my graded gretz going for $99 cad ... a lot of gradables in urs, that Stevie looked pretty centered 👍
198 Topps, 264 OPC. That’s why Topps had the double prints.

Haha! That helps, although the thought of being neutered made me cringe…ouch!

@@LastLetterisZed702 Actually, they are both only in the OPC set, not in the Topps set.

Soo-ter, finally! Thanks! It helps when you give me rhyming words.
