That was Eddie Johnstone, not Johnston. Eddie Johnston was a goalie for the Bruins and the Blues. Then he put an E at the end of his last name and became a forward for the Rangers and Red Wings. Or maybe they were actually 2 different people. That was Mee-shell Dion, not Michael. The T at the end of Perreault is silent, so it's Perr-oh. Did you know that Lafleur was retired for 3 years and had already been voted into the hall of fame when he decided to come back to play for the Rangers?

Warren Moon was still playing in the CFL for the Edmonton Eskimos (since renamed the Elks) in 1982. His 1st NFL season was 1984. He has a very rare 1981 CFL card, only 500 printed because there were only 500 sets made. Of course, I have 1 of those 500 cards (I bought the set the year it was produced). Pat McInally (Mak-in-al-ee) is the guy who came up with the idea for the Starting Lineup figurines. Lyle Alzado is Al-zay-doh, not Al-zah-doh.

If you’re up for a suggestion, maybe turn the camera around once you start to open the pack so the viewer sees the cards at the same time you do. If you check out other channels featuring packs being open, they all do it that way. Just an idea. Love 80s and early 90s hockey cards.

You were right on Maruk the 1st time (Ma-rook). Old people like me remember Lanny McDonald with the Leafs. They made a big mistake getting rid of him. Tanti is pronounced like the tan in suntan. You reopened the WHA pack with great pronunciation! Looks and sounds like it was a fun Moody Blues concert. How many original members are still in the band? Sounds like they were using some backing tracks for the orchestral parts, but I guess it's difficult to tour with an orchestra. Were you at the Canadiens big OT win in Columbus? That win will propel them into the playoffs! Okay, maybe not, considering that they're actually in 31st place 😭

I love these old card breaks from my childhood

I don't understand all of the negativity. I saw this same tour a few days earlier in Clarksburg, WV and it was a fantastic show. I loved every minute of it. John Lodge performed the Days of Future Passed album (including Tuesday Afternoon) in its entirety and it was terrific. Jon Davison sings the songs faithfully, using the same phrasing and emphasis that we all are used to hearing from Justin. Expecting him to sound exactly like Justin is unreasonable. Of course we would all love to see Justin Hayward and John Lodge performing together again, but I cannot turn back the clock and neither can anyone else. If you crave a Justin Hayward concert, he is touring. I have my ticket and will be enjoying his concert in less than a week from now. And I will miss hearing John's voice and bass lines and his stage presence at that concert. I will miss Ray's flute and voice and Graeme's absolutely deliriously happy presence on the drums, and I will definitely reflect with gratitude that I was able to see dozens of Moodies concerts in the past. I was too young to attend concerts when Mike was with them, but I am sure he is missed by all those who attended Moody Blues concerts pre-1973. I guess I would encourage everyone to be thankful that John and Justin are both still willing and able to endure the inconveniences of "the road" so that we don't have to travel very far to attend a performance. And we get to see a show in a small-ish venue where we have a chance at securing a front row seat! I am definitely counting my blessings and shall never blame the rainbows for the rain. edited typos
