sorry to tell, but warwick even has a voiceline specifically towards vi about how she learned her punching technique from him. its not a theory, they left breadcrumbs everywhere
Not just her. His voice line for Jinx is "you were there" and "let me forget." In season 1, when silco has vander on the catwalk and he says "I'll show you what you really are" it plays the sting from WW's theme (the sound that plays when his blood hunt is triggered). Finally, when he's shimmer hulked, the growls he makes while fighting are literally WW's effort sounds and growls. Its as confirmed as it can possibly get.
So it is a theory. A theory is the best explanation we have for something, without it being confirmed. Until Vander is officially announced to be Warwick, it'll remain a theory.
I heard they didn't drop his name until pretty late to keep the surprise, that's pretty cool and thoughtful, but the subtitles kept showing "VIKTOR" from the beginning 🤣
@@MrGuybrush nah, in all the promotional stuff he was pretty openly Viktor- we knew from the start we'd be looking at his backstory. That said, given the ASDU cdoming up, I sus[ect he'll be verrry different
There is one champion that I hope they introduce with season 2 called Renata Glasc. She is also a chem-baron like Silco but in the current lore, she is the most powerful and most influential chem-baron. Since Arcane happens in the past, hopefully we get to see her become as strong as she is currently.
Renata is Silco. After Arcane they wanted to bring Silco to League, but he didn't fit the existing ideas for the new champ enough - so they took Silco's background story (adjusted it a bit), continued the gameplay design as planned and called the mix of both Renata Glasc. hope you're not disappointed to hear this 🙂
yeah, i'm kinda sad because there's only 6 episodes left and i don't think we would have the time to see Renata, Oriana, Camille, Blitchcranc, Twitch, Zeri... there's a lot of champs from there. I Think Camile is the one who has more chances to apear since The Ferros Familie has had already a bit of screen time. Maybe Oriana but it's hard for me to see it happening
@@yuichirouka6722 I think it's a highly accurate theory since Singed said "I had a daughter once." to Silco. And he was looking at a photo of his daughter in the final ep. She had a bun just like Orianna.
The Two Masked Figures in the Adult Club 7:57 is a easter egg for a champ. The Kindred is a champion in League of Legends, They are the embodiment of death, A representation of death like the Grim Reaper. The two masked people at 7:57 are wearing the same masks. But its not the champ.
Correct -- I remember in a Necrit video there was some talk about how Kindred is known in every major culture of Runeterra, and is basically kind of folklore? Which would explain why these two individuals are wearing the masks representing Kindred.
Well if you're going to go that far... Teemo is in the little girl's book that the weird dude licked... Gragas was on the Shimmer on the ship..... and any number of NPC's in the background could have been LeBlanc :P
Riot announced that a champion that appears in Arcane will get a visual/lore update after the second season ends, and most people think it's Viktor. His in-game model and voice lines are very old, and while his lore was updated and he is rather consistent with how he is in Arcane, he sounds like a supervillain in his voice lines. There is also a WIP model for Arcane of Viktor looking... extremely not well, but they probably won't make him as robotic as he is in the game right now.
@@alphaxir1046 Me too, at first, but I believe they mentioned the lore being updated, as well. Singed looks terrible, but his lore is vague enough that he can stay the same. Viktor, at least for now, is going in a more magic-induced transmutation, as opposed to cybernetics. And that's without mentioning that people are guessing that the Hexcore is related to the Void, although I'm not sure I'm seeing it outside of the visuals.
Viktor's model is not that old compared to singed, and the lore problems you mentioned is also true for jayce, which probably wont get an asu. 99% sure singed will get the rework.
there was a theory that the little rat drank the purple poison (i dont remember which ep) then became a monster, that rat is Twitch which is also a champion
nah man twitch is also in arcane but like its probably that old friend of jinx and vi they meet while they are in the like bottom part of zaun cause of the hand movement and glasses, cause like if vander got turned into ww then that guy can surely also be caught by singed and get turned into twitch
@@sirtijedem The rat that drank the shimmer makes more sense. Mylo and Claggor were inside the burning building so I doubt Singed would've been able to take their bodies.
@@adoboflakes8473 not sure we are talking about the same guy but like the guy in the pits that they meet. His build is more less already there he is just not a rat-man yet
@@sirtijedem Oh you mean the guy Vander helped out? I just doubt that it'll be any person at all because Twitch was born rat which is why I think the rat that was given shimmer makes more sense.
Singed is one of the most influencial characters in League. Never cared for him much until Arcane, and then it finally hit me all at once of just how many events, nations and character's lives are directly or indirectly affected(and effected) by him, his inventions, technology, etc. He has become one of the most interesting characters for me, especially after the way he is portrayed, especially considering the dichotomy of how he is Arcane and what he becomes by the time we see him in League....like its so strangly exciting. I will spare you any spoilers, just wish to impart a portion of my enthusiasm onto you to leave some room for my boi, there is so much more than meets the eye with this one.
Whoops, meant to add concerning League, playing it that is, just go for it if that's what's in you to do, I've been playing since a few months after launch, I have had my ups and downs and times I've had to step away until I learned my lesson, sometimes that was months, but I came back and make changes to my behavior and my own poor selfish performance, at least take in to consideration the ebb and flow of the game, and put into practice things I saw from watching Pro-games, and I found myself to enjoy the game til today, I think they may have lost their way a bit recently, but they love to take feedback and is a company that seems a lot closer to and more involved with its players, and really do, for the most part, really do their best to keep it that way, but I'm sure it's gotta be hard for them some days dealing with the constant whining from those that have become trapped and addicted to this game that they now hate. So if games aren't sinful to you, and you don't get addicted to things, you'll have a grand Ole time figuring things out and dying a LOT lol. I suggest going in blind, playing a bunch of games until you think you have a basic understanding and have played or experienced a fair number of champs, go watch a few pro games , like the World's semifinals to finals last year. (I'm sure you could do a react, World's was quite the event last year, incredible games) There you will learn a heck of a lot, and it will be interesting to see how it changes how you play any games further. But anyways, as a wise man once said, "People's peoples." Enjoy!
I feel the same way about Singed. He always has a habit of popping up, like during the Noxian invasion of Ionia. There's also something I'm very interested to see in season 2 about him. There's a scene where he is looking at a locket, and you can vaguely catch the image of his daughter. I'm not sure if you are aware of the tidbit, but there is a major spoiler about that which I'll be writing about next. ********* For years before Arcane, there was always a theory that Singed was Orianna's father. The theory became more concrete when lore for mostly all of piltover and zaunite characters such as Janna got retconned. Orianna's backstory and colour story detail how she became infected with a disease and later went into a coma. Her father, an Alchemist, started to gradually replace her failing organs with mechanical parts to save her until it got to a point where everything but her heart has been replaced by machinery. It's pretty close to Singed's current creations, and it's believed the reason he's been creating mutations (Warwick) and augments (Viktor, Urgot) in people is due to his now obsessive desire to reverse his daughter's condition and mechanical organs. When the scene of him in Arcane looking at an old picture of his now canon daughter, the lore community became invested in season 2 in hopes we finally get a direct link between the two. It would change Singed's character quite a lot to have an in depth story explaining his descent into madness because of his obsession in saving his daughter and the possible time limit of her imminent death if he fails
I 1000% believe that vander is experimented on and turnned into Warwick, mostly cause the sound bit they used for Vander when he was going nuts and attacking the other shimmered out buff bad guy when he took the shimmer too, it sounds just like the sound bit from the game that warwick uses.
while yes, it's "just a theory" Warwick being Vander has such a massive amount of evidence and hints that it would be crazier to say he is not Vander. if you're interested in it, there are plenty of stuff to look into (his story and a lot of his VO tells what kind of person he was before he became a monster) BTW: they are not taking characters in a different direction, they have said many times in the past months that they are focusing on having a cohesive canon and won't be retconning stuff like they used to.
Part of me really wants Vander to just be put to rest and refuses to believe he will be a beast in season 2 🤣 He was my favorite character during the first 3 episodes and it broke my heart when he died. But oh well, excited to see what the future has to hold! I'm discovering so much cool stuff despite it being clear spoilers, I'm still excited to see it in the show!
@@MrGuybrush yea... i don't know why people can't see that it's a spoiler, i feel like it's on every youtube reaction or video. sorry if i spoiled you, i thought it was okay since he already had people telling him about the "theory".
@@Lunar_Leit Oh, you are fine, no worries. I watched the whole season 1 without a single spoiler and completely blind from LoL lore and now I'm willingly learning about the lore because I'm hyped for season 2!
We, league players watch the show not for surprises, we watch it to see how exactly happened what we know of gamelore. There is so much more to Jayce and Victor's story, Ekko's, Katelyn's.. Many more characters from Piltover and Zaun are waiting to go on screen. To be honest, they really did change the lore for the show a bit. But not that much
That's awesome. Must feel nice that your main character in the game suddenly shows up in the show! I'm glad I watched it blindly without knowing anything about the lore or characters. It made it very entertaining and surprising. Thank you for watching! 😊
The thing with Warwick being Vander. It's most likely true. When Jinx sees these "images" of everyone, when she sees Vander, you can see a wolf look-alike drawing appearing for a split second which also gives us confirmation about Vander being Warwick.
I play league and part of the fun of watching arcane was what they did with the character concepts and a blank slate. We all know jinx is crazy and gun obsessed. However seeing her in an other light than just the gun crazy lady was refreshing. Arcane did a really good job reimagining the character. To me its also interesting to k ow who they are in league and how much they will resemble their characters at the end of the show and how they got there.
There's also a speculation that Singed daughter could be Orianna, He mentions he too once had a daughter and he carries a locket. You see him looking at it in the same scene with Vander/Warwick.
if u want to see more the world do some lol cinematic reactions plz :PP ..i recomend for the start "warrior" "awaken" "the call" "still here". Those are the most popular and its good content, people will watch.
i belive there is a reason viktor doesnt have an arcane skin yet, sam goes for heimerdinger. their design in there ''champion mode'' havent been showed. like for viktor he have the claw, but he also need a scepter for his playstyle
5:05 for us, who played the game before the show, the surprise was the human form before warwick. Case we know WW from 10 years and he was only the green werewolf that sucks. And them, Arcane blow our minds.
That's so interesting to hear. We both watched the same show but with a totally different background! I had absolutely no clue about the lore or who anyone was. It was so cool to check out later on the champions! I bet there are many surprises for LoL players too!
If you haven't seen it already, I recommend watching "Kin of the Stained Blade." Awesome League cinematic and will have you wanting to dive into the lore even more..
If you want to see more about Warwick, check out the following two trailers: * Warwick: The Wrath of Zaun | Champion Teaser - League of Legends * Eye of the Beast | Warwick Champion Trailer - League of Legends: Wild Rift The first teaser was from when they did a major update/rework to Warwick in 2017, while the second trailer is from when he was added to Wild Rift in 2022 (Wild Rift is the mobile version of League of Legends). 5:12 they cant, the y made the lore, they cant just change it. As you say people who play league and read the lore we alredy know what will happen with season 2 but we want to see it happening. Like we did with season 1 we alredy knew Vi and Jinx will become enemies. And we also know what will happend to viktor. If they change that i think people will get even more mad.
That Mage from the show being Ryze is an interesting theory because we know for sure, that Ryze can teleport himself and others, which is what the mage did
There’s also a scene where Heimerdinger talks about how magic can go awry. It briefly shows a weird scene of magic and sand, and it’s highly implied he’s talking about what happened to Zilean, another champion in the game.
Actually 5:12 as a league of legends player i will tell you WE DON'T WANT changes and suprises.. we want things we see in game, i want my boy Warwick to be warwick like in game, or Viktor like viktor and other, we dont like changes
8:02 thats not a champion but an easter-egg, is Kinded which in the lore is the representation of the grim reaper, it has 2 entities, the lamb which represents a pacefull death (the white mask) and the wolf whch is a violent death which is the purple one, you can see more of this champ in their last cinematic called "Still here"
3:41 the theory holds some credit as he has special interactions in game with Jinx and Vi, considering they also added these new lines around the time they did the Arcane update to add lines to some champions in there to tease the show, it kinda could hold a flame there. His backstory also sorta lines up. An ex thug from Zaun who turned his life around, but his past caught up with him and he wound up an experiment in Singed's lab. So it is likely honestly. That said, his lore is old, real old, and they have said Arcane takes precedence so they could overwrite it entirely, but so far it lines up pretty well.
by lore, Viktor is constantly changing his damaged organs for hextech or quimtech machines to keep him alive. He also tries to save as many Zaunits as he can, remember the air is kinda poisonous down there. I also hope the writers of the show be gentle with him but he is already on the verge of death so yeah lest not have that much hope :c And also they didn't hesistate to destroy me in a spiritual level in every single arc of the show so yeah. My boy is gonna suffer
Riot confirmed that the League Viktor is the same Viktor as in Arcane. They even told us that he will get a redesign in the game based on his appearance in the show
Warwick is definitely vander i think there is a voice line in the game where he said he heard a girl crying when he was still human and that moment was when jinx crying out to vi to not leave her behind
the couple in the mask are the avatars of death (or atleast the mask depictions of them)the wolf which is a violent death and the sheep which is a peacful one. they are never seen and if they are it is not a good thing
Although he does not specificly feature in Arcane, there's another champion that's connected to the events and locations of the plot, and maybe even hinted: Twitch. Twitch is a monstrous evil humanoid rat from Zaun, whose main theme revolves around the use of poison. One of the few possibl explanations of how such little monster might have come to exist is by being a common gutter rat mutated by exposure to weird chemicals or experimented on. AND... we DO see Singed test the shimmer on a rat at the end of the very first chapter of the series, increasing its size, strength and aggressive instincts. Coincidence? I think... maybe.
their is more to warwick being vander wrwicks story mentions he only remembers a small girls crying and warwicks music tune plays when vanders on screen plus warwicks lore states he was a gang leader who tried escape his past and be a good person for his comunity but his past cought up to him aka silko catching up to him
the whole theory with ryze also stems from the fact that one of his abilities, his ultimate, allows his to teleport himself and allies to another par of the map much like the mage in arcane does. of course still not confirmed but still a good theory
Kindred, the Lamb and Wolf that you mention from the bar where Vi and Cait go to for catching up, the two person talking with the same mask as Kindred had, is not them, it's just that Kindred is the representation of Death or embodyment of Death itself. It just included in the animated series since Kindred Story is spread all through out Runeterra (World) you will end up being taken by Kindred if you die in Runeterra. In this show, Vi and Cait are on a suicide mission, so Kindred is there to teased that they could be taken by Kindred.
They use Warwick's song in the teaser as well as in the 3rd episode of Arcane. It's highly implied that Vander is Warwick. Also, Ryze is definitely the mage that saves Jayce.
Ye ye lets scream so loudly about things that aren't true. Ryze isn't that mage. In LoR we can see that even when he was young, which was like more than 1000 years ago he had a blue skin. In Arcane that mage have pink human skin color. May be they will retcon his lore and change it so it'll line up, but for now, there is no any confirmation or even slightest hints from riot about that, so screaming so confident and missleading people, who will blidnly trust you because they dont know lore is just wrong.
@@Aaniel_al.Meara. Ryze was not always blue! His skin turned blue due to the prolonged exposure to world runes, this is both confirmed in the Ruination novel and the Young Ryze skin. I doubt they would change anything about Ryze's lore at this point as he is very fundamental for the world. That being said I agree that it probably isnt Ryze. 1. The mage wasn't blue 2. I can't imagine Ryze ever giving away any kinda rune-like magic to a random kid. If it HAS to be someone from the games I guess Zilean would probably be the only semi-viable option? Obviously it aint him either tho
@@Aaniel_al.Meara. Who is screaming? Chill. There is no other mage like this in LoL lore, he uses rune magic and teleportation. it's clearly a ryze easter egg. idk why you would even argue against this.
There are also 2 references to Teemo in the show. First one is in the arcade, Jinx is playing a teemo game, and later you can see teemo in the children book silko's henchman is reading. He seems to be some sort of legend or fairy tale character in arcane.
It's more that Teemo is the unofficial mascot of all of League of Legends. Teemo has appeared on more marketing across the globe than any other champion, by far. Riot pushes different champions to the front depending on what plays well with audiences tastes in different regions of the world. Except Teemo. Teemo is universal. There's something universal about his champion design that makes him play everywhere, which just reinforces Riot making sure there's an easter egg for him everywhere.
"*Sinjd". In English, when an object is singed, it mean it is lightly burnt around the edges. If someone went to light a cigarette and their lighter flame is too high, the might singe their eyebrows.
If players didnt connect the dots in episode 1 that vander is warwick they sure did in episode 3 when vander let out his warwick growls and screams after he was injected with all the shimmer. He also took the warwick stances from the first ww trailer ^^
That Viktor you see in league is not made of steel like it suggests, he just has a helmet on. However he did operate on himself to removes his emotions because they were an obstacle on his research. That was the old lore though, it was different from arcane, it involved Jayce and Viktor being "rivals" on the Piltover Academy, and Jayce was an egotistical genius but couldn't work with anyone because no one tolerated his character. I invite you to read both Jayce's and Viktor's bios one after another, since at the end both bios tell the same story but from both views. On jayce's bio Viktor ends up as a villain, but on Viktor's bio we learn that he was trying to help zaunites from a chemical spill accident until Jayce arrived and when Viktor tried to explain what was he doing Jayce was already blasting the place down. Would be a good video for a "champion bio reaction", a lot of arcane fans continue league content by reacting to champions individually
So it's a more or less solid theory that Ryze was the Mage that saved Jayce and his mother in the Flashback, and also its theorized, that Singed might have been in the Piltovan Academy. Heimerdinger tells Jayce about an extraordinary inventer, that had to go for his crucial experiments, when the stand in front of a staue in the Academy in a scene.
I think it's the only real possibility we have on hand. But to me, it doesn't make sense since Ryze's entire story is about trying to keep this magic out of the hands of other people. Locking away the runes and preventing the very things that Heimerdinger witnessed and warns about. But at the same time, they're already revamping a lot of things for Arcane's story to become Canon, so I can 100% see them altering Ryze's motives and backstory, too.
Also last thing to note all characters in peague are cannon. They will only change slightly for the show nothing massive to where there not the same charactet. So any character you see in that roster is very very close to how they will be in the shows in the future. Season2 wraps up vi and jinx story and it will probably move to jayce and viktor becoming enemies in the next season. Idk where its going from there. Theres 5 other factions they can delve into that i feel they should go into like garen lux and sylas story line
if you don't mind a bit of "spoilers", Riot Games announced Mother Medarda (Ambessa i think she's called?) is going to be a champion too. They also announced a visual and gameplay update for "an arcane champion", which most believe is going to be either Viktor or Singed.
Honestly for lore nerds like myself who know the outcome, its more about the process to get there. I knew Viktor would start with good intentions. I knew Vi/Jinx had it tough on the streets. How they get to where they are now is just as important. Side note you probably should have viewed the abilities (although some may be spoilers a bit). Just because heimerdinger is a "mage" doesnt mean he is not a tinkerer. It just means he is very ability focused to do what he needs to. Marksman is what most ranged champions are referred to as. Its a common theme for piltover/zaun to derive alot of their abilities from technology.
the mage in jayce flashback might be tarric, location seems to be targon and tarric use gems as catalyst for his powers, also the typical good guys that helps people on the way up to targon, so would make sense to me.
just as an fyi there are a lot more champions that are speculated to be in arcane/mentioned in it but they play a very minor role if at all in s1 "twitch" has 1 of 2 current theories as to who it could be 1st theory ppl have is the rat that escaped in act 1 of the series from the lab that was drugged with shimmer. the 2nd theory is that the toxic air in Zaun mutates the one major shimmer addict (the one that sells out vi and cait) is later on experimented by signed and turned into Twitch through cross experimentations. another speculation is that the girl in the locket that singed has towards the ending of the series is meant to be "Oriana" her story would need to be updated a bit but that's about it finally there's a champion unrelated to Piltover or Zaun that was presumably mentioned by Ambessa during her flashback with Mel that champion the Noxian Warlord that overthrew his government is meant to be "Swain" but again these are only minor speculations that can't be elaborated as of yet. Also there are some items in the game that are based around Piltover and Zaun the main one that you'll probably recognise is "Turbo Chemtank" (though that item has been recently removed for balance reasons). Also the reason why the WW fantheory is pretty much confirmed has to do with a lot of different circumstances there's the way ppl nicknamed vander as well as no other characters even close in shape to the body hanging in singeds lab at the end. the image is also practically directly ripped off of league of legends universe page (a page for different stories of the champions) that story being titled "engeneering a nightmare" and it stars viktor and warwick. then there's the new voicelines that were added to warwick after arcane released
yeah, they can do small changes BUT altough Arcane started as an alternate universe for LoL, riot decided to made it cannon... and as cannon, they can't do big changes cause they are bounded ('cause arcane is the past off the LoL, that's why in the first video Jayce looked older, 'cause he IS older.. arcane is the past) and for the two girls with masks, they aren't champions per say, but their MASKS represents a champion (the Champion is Kindred, a Sheep and a Wolf, yes two entities in one champ, they use those maks and they are the representation of Death in the LoL universe)
As a league player I appreciate too much that they give us players enough pieces to put things together before the Arcane only watchers, so I don't consider it a straight spoiler and most of the Arcane writting is good enough for other surprises to take place. Like Jinx, we definitely knew where she was going but the journey was too damn good to miss. But that's only my point of view, of course others could see it as a breaking point spoiler.
The writters followed the league lore to a T and told the characters stories beautifully, i wouldn't want them to change the story just to make some vander fans happy. Thats what happens. Thats what they will most likely tell why start changing it now. Plus i dont mind knowing the story in advance, as long as the executions done well. Thats why a lot of people who read the books of movies still go see the movies adaptations.
The suspicion is that there will be an Arcane Viktor skin and something along the lines of Monstrosity Warwick resembling Vander. But they are indeed spoilers for the 2nd season. There is a high chance the mage in the series was Ryze as he is the only mage known to teleport people (his ultimate skill)
nobody mentioned that Orianna (Singed's daughter) is also a champ. She probably won't be in arcane but it is shown on Singed's locket he keeps watching all the time.
And what about Jhin guys ? I'm pretty sure he's the violonist at the opera scene. Even Ray Chen, the musician acting for the serie, is making few video about Jhin in his channel.
It’s not a theory, Warwick is Vander. I knew the moment he took shimmer in episode 3. His nickname in the show along with some certain voicelines in the game itself confirm it.
@@MrGuybrush Lol yeah, the lore in the game will be kept so none of that will surprise old players of the game. The events themselves have been mostly untold, it’s the details of how the characters got to where they are in the game that keeps us surprised.
Arcane is fully canon now, so they kind of have to make the characetrs end up like the champions we see, so they can't really make Warwick not be a werewolf anymore, and they can't really change what Viktor becomes.
The picture is kindred that you asked about the rat that sibged tested on is twitch camile is aparently in there somewhere because riot said so but i guess she was in the background somewhere uhhhh i cant think of anyone else
You don't lose anything by not playing the game, especially if you have no will to. But the lore gets more and more interesting, and maybe watching champions abilities should make you smile if you rewatch the show after. The theory about Ryze is here because of his party-teleport spell, for example. I didn't explore your channel, but some of the video they made around the game are stunning :) If I can give you only one to watch, I vote for "Awaken". You can pause it anywhere, it's a wallpaper generator XD
Orianna could also possibly be a Champion that could come in season 2. At the end of the last episode we see Singed looking at a necklace with a picture of a young girl in it. Probably his daughter, since he said he had a daughter. The girl in the picture looks almost the same as the Champion Orianna. Although her story is very different in the lore, Singed was not her father. In the lore her father was Corin Reveck.
In case you want to react to more champs kinda related to Arcane because they're from Zaun or Piltover (or they just reside in that places actually) , that doesn't mean all of them are gonna to appear in arcane 2: Zaun: Ziggs Janna Urgot Dr. Mundo Zeri Twitch Renata Zac Biltzcrank Piltover: Camille Orianna Ezreal Seraphine Corki And also just a curious fact, Silco was an exclusive champion from TFT , another game from Riot
It's funny that you say that because that was the first thing I thought when I saw Jinx on Arcane with that rocket launcher haha "That must be her ultimate"
So riot from the launch of arcane, has stated that everything released in arcane, the next season, and in game lore, is going to be Cannon. So sadly, writers won't go a different direction. Like with singed and Viktor, they are showing their origins, so expect that of Warwick aka Vander.
I would love seeing you react to the champion trailers for those champions, although from the Arcane champions only Ekko and Warwick have trailers. Also, Swain is someone really interesting to check out. The empire of Noxus already played a part in the show and got teased a lot, highly expecting Noxus to play a role in the future of arcane. Also, let's just say there were suspiciously many crows scattered throughout arcane ;)
Oh yeah, and when it comes to playing it, it is a highly competitive game that hardly has anything to do with the lore behind it apart from the fact that you play the champions. It has the reputation of having one of the most toxic gaming communities for a reason and for a new player it's incredibly overwhelming to learn. If you want to have fun playing it, plan on investing minimum 200 hours and be warned that it won't be much fun at the start. Unless you really want to get into that, I don't recommend :)
On the warwick front, as stated elsewhere, its not a theory, its basically confirmed. But that isn't a bad thing. For one, Riot has confirmed they're unifying all of the lore, so what happens in Arcane IS the cannon, with the rest of it. Two, its no different than season one. It allows for a different viewing experience. For people not familiar with the game, it is introing these characters and world to you. For league players/followers, its showing us HOW they got there. Going into season 1, we knew powder becomes Jinx, Vi gets the gloves, Jayce gets the hammer, etc. It didn't matter that we knew the destination, it was the journey that was important. Also worth noting, the 'game' characters are 'current day'. Arcane is in the past. So the difference in appearance is because most of the characters are still teenagers, where as the game characters are late 20's early 30's. On the skins front, you pretty much nailed it. Older champions (warwick, was a launch champ for example, as was caitlyn) got a lot of skins accumulated, where as others get them based on amount played. To explain the manatee/urf skin, once upon a time in the early days they were going to have a manatee character named urf, but it got canned (too silly). So their explanation for why it wasn't being launched anymore was because Warwick ate him. So they released the Manatee skin for april fools. The URF skin is because, while urf never saw the light of day as a champion, he's become a goofy kind of mascot for silly ideas. One game mode they launched on april fools was Ultra Rapid Fire (U.R.F.) where it was a standard game but the cool down on abilities were drastically reduced. It even got its own epic theme song, which still plays during some worlds. Ryze is technically unconfirmed but heavily hinted to be the mage. His ultimate in the game is a circle of teleport which operates identically to how he got jayce and his mother out of the freljord. Teemo was in Arcane season 1, technically. He appeared on many of the arcade machines. The two in the room were not champions. However, they were wearing Kindred's mask. This doesn't mean they ARE kindred though. Kindred is the aspect of death in Rune Terra. They're made up of two parts, wolf and lamb (they each wearing their mask). Wolf is the aspect that chases those that try to flee from death, where lamb is the sniper that gives a quick death to those that accept it. They were the central figure in the cinematic you already watched (the one with ashe).
Yeah that Riot mmo isent coming out anytime soon. They not to long ago announced that they were not happy with the direction it was going in so they announced that they would be going dark for a few years as they change some major core design systems for how the game is gonna work. Not every asset needs to be remade but with a statment like that its a safe bet that they are redesigning the entire core foundation of the game. So we are unlikly to hear any updates for that game within 3-4 years.
The arcane series is telling the story of the champions, we don't know about their past, but the champions are their future, understand? Everyone who knows the champion's lore knows what the character will become in the future, we just want to know what their past was like
I just noticed that in-game ability spotlight of Warwick shows him attacking Signed 0-0 That spotlight is really old, did they have this plan all along?
I believe we hear all the way back in episode 1 that Vander's nickname is "The Hound of the Underground"
There's also a moment on the bridge in the factory in episode 2-3 where you can kinda hear Warwick's theme music.
sorry to tell, but warwick even has a voiceline specifically towards vi about how she learned her punching technique from him.
its not a theory, they left breadcrumbs everywhere
a great scene of "show dont tell"
And when Vander killed the shimmered up street thug guy, it was Warwick's basic attack growls.
@@2centschange It could also be perfect misdirection 🤡.
you could imagine our surprise seeing Viktor as a human he has already been a machine the whole time we were reading lore and playing the game lol

After Arcane they wanted to bring Silco to League, but he didn't fit the existing ideas for the new champ enough - so they took Silco's background story (adjusted it a bit), continued the gameplay design as planned and called the mix of both Renata Glasc. hope you're not disappointed to hear this 🙂
@@Sabo_538 Well, it doesn't matter. Even though Renata is based off Silco, they are still separate characters in the lore.
@@frozenduck23 And arcane is part of the new cannon so, Renata will be a different character in the show if she appears
yeah, i'm kinda sad because there's only 6 episodes left and i don't think we would have the time to see Renata, Oriana, Camille, Blitchcranc, Twitch, Zeri... there's a lot of champs from there. I Think Camile is the one who has more chances to apear since The Ferros Familie has had already a bit of screen time. Maybe Oriana but it's hard for me to see it happening
Also, a champion called Blitzcrank (one of Viktor's invetions) is being foreshadowed in series of dialogues between Viktor and Jayce ("crank it").

There is also a WIP model for Arcane of Viktor looking... extremely not well, but they probably won't make him as robotic as he is in the game right now.
i assumed the visual update would be singed because he's super out of date
@@alphaxir1046 i mean he is one of starting champions league had and 1st designed
@@boranates1320 Watch it be Heimerdinger, but they gave him a Firelight costume and he only talks about how much he hates Hextech now.
there was a theory that the little rat drank the purple poison (i dont remember which ep) then became a monster, that rat is Twitch which is also a champion

nah man twitch is also in arcane but like its probably that old friend of jinx and vi they meet while they are in the like bottom part of zaun cause of the hand movement and glasses, cause like if vander got turned into ww then that guy can surely also be caught by singed and get turned into twitch

*********
For years before Arcane, there was always a theory that Singed was Orianna's father.
Singed and Heimer are related, they actually say it in Arcane, they worked togheter in the past, just like Viktor and Jayce
As a fan of LoL I WANT to see Singed turning Vander into Warwick. No, I NEED to see it. Even if it is no surprise.
I 1000% believe that vander is experimented on and turnned into Warwick, mostly cause the sound bit they used for Vander when he was going nuts and attacking the other shimmered out buff bad guy when he took the shimmer too, it sounds just like the sound bit from the game that warwick uses.
It is amazing delving down Warwick's details and his handful of voice lines (particularly his interactions with Vi) and going "oh, yep, that's Vander"
while yes, it's "just a theory" Warwick being Vander has such a massive amount of evidence and hints that it would be crazier to say he is not Vander.
if you're interested in it, there are plenty of stuff to look into (his story and a lot of his VO tells what kind of person he was before he became a monster)
BTW: they are not taking characters in a different direction, they have said many times in the past months that they are focusing on having a cohesive canon and won't be retconning stuff like they used to.

Thank you so much! That means a lot to me 😊
When warwick encouter Jinx in the game, he say "you were there, let me forget"

That Mage from the show being Ryze is an interesting theory because we know for sure, that Ryze can teleport himself and others, which is what the mage did
There’s also a scene where Heimerdinger talks about how magic can go awry. It briefly shows a weird scene of magic and sand, and it’s highly implied he’s talking about what happened to Zilean, another champion in the game.
No, Zilean get trfumatized by Icathia people summon Void, that was long before Rune War (that what Heim see)
Sorry but, we're 100% sure that Warwick is vander, not only for his histoy, also the interaction with other characters in the game can confirm that

Vander being Warwick sadly isn't a theory. It's confirmed
by lore, Viktor is constantly changing his damaged organs for hextech or quimtech machines to keep him alive. He also tries to save as many Zaunits as he can, remember the air is kinda poisonous down there. I also hope the writers of the show be gentle with him but he is already on the verge of death so yeah lest not have that much hope :c
And also they didn't hesistate to destroy me in a spiritual level in every single arc of the show so yeah.
That's not a bar, it's a brothel
Vander, yes, Ryze... ehhhh, doubt it.
@@Ghilannugs Where the hell did I said that he always was blue?
Btw Young Ryze skin is just a skin, it has nothing to do with canon lore at all.
Singed was one of the first champions, so some of the skins are really old, that's why hextech is green for example.
If players didnt connect the dots in episode 1 that vander is warwick they sure did in episode 3 when vander let out his warwick growls and screams after he was injected with all the shimmer. He also took the warwick stances from the first ww trailer ^^
Singed and Warwick in Arcane S2 🔥🔥
There was a 1 second easter egg for another champion, there is a picture of teemo in a book.
Medarda is included at the end of the video, yeah! I tried to include everyone that people mentioned in the comments this time 😊
@@MrGuybrush oh mb mb, seems like i missed a part ^^'
No worries! Thank you so much for watching 🤗
Its a common theme for piltover/zaun to derive alot of their abilities from technology.
the mage in jayce flashback might be tarric, location seems to be targon and tarric use gems as catalyst for his powers, also the typical good guys that helps people on the way up to targon, so would make sense to me.
just as an fyi there are a lot more champions that are speculated to be in arcane/mentioned in it but they play a very minor role if at all in s1
"twitch" has 1 of 2 current theories as to who it could be 1st theory ppl have is the rat that escaped in act 1 of the series from the lab that was drugged with shimmer. the 2nd theory is that the toxic air in Zaun mutates the one major shimmer addict (the one that sells out vi and cait) is later on experimented by signed and turned into Twitch through cross experimentations.
another speculation is that the girl in the locket that singed has towards the ending of the series is meant to be "Oriana" her story would need to be updated a bit but that's about it
finally there's a champion unrelated to Piltover or Zaun that was presumably mentioned by Ambessa during her flashback with Mel that champion the Noxian Warlord that overthrew his government is meant to be "Swain"
but again these are only minor speculations that can't be elaborated as of yet.
Dont know if you realized but the school skin from Caitlyn is shared with Vi
nobody mentioned that Orianna (Singed's daughter) is also a champ. She probably won't be in arcane but it is shown on Singed's locket he keeps watching all the time.
Interesting! I need to check her out 👀
7:57 That's the mask of Kindred. It is an Easter egg.
Orianna, Urgot, Blitzcrank, Camille, Teemo, and Ziggs could show up in the show as well.
Yeah I stopped the copium and now I understand that it's not a theory 😅 I guess I was hoping that I would be surprised in that aspect. Oh well!
He should watch the warwick teaser vid.
The picture is kindred that you asked about the rat that sibged tested on is twitch camile is aparently in there somewhere because riot said so but i guess she was in the background somewhere uhhhh i cant think of anyone else
There's a champion named Twitch, the rat that got injected with shimmer in the series they say.
I just shot a video where I talk about all the champions in Zaun, Twitch included! Should be up this week 😊
I recomend see the presentation of Ekko, hes cinematic called "Seccond".
The theory is that Singed IS Corin Reveck.
@@indigorune That would explain a lot and would be a cool spin on both their stories
Arcane is canon, already confirmed by riot, so Viktor someday is gonna be like that, but we don't know how he became like that yet.
In case you want to react to more champs kinda related to Arcane because they're from Zaun or Piltover (or they just reside in that places actually) , that doesn't mean all of them are gonna to appear in arcane 2:
Zaun:
Ziggs
Janna
Urgot
Dr. Mundo
Zeri
Twitch
Renata
Zac
Biltzcrank
Piltover:
Camille
Orianna
Ezreal
Seraphine
Corki
And also just a curious fact, Silco was an exclusive champion from TFT , another game from Riot
I definitely have a video like this in mind!! Thank you so much for the info. So excited to find out more about this world
Oriana by technicality, she was Singe's daughter
Arcane is already an alternate story, Jinx(Powder) and Vi cannonically dont know they are sisters, or at least 1 of them doesnt, i forgot
No, they 100% know. Vi's amnesia was reconned out of her bio years ago.
did you see their abilities in the game? the canon jinx shoot at the council is her ultimate in the game! I was so emocional while watching it :')
It's funny that you say that because that was the first thing I thought when I saw Jinx on Arcane with that rocket launcher haha "That must be her ultimate"
Please try watching the champions' trailers. WW's story on his rework video will be explained briefly.
So we are unlikly to hear any updates for that game within 3-4 years.
came for the reaction stayed for your voice ^^
Listen to Warwick's voicelines, he has one for Vi
The arcane series is telling the story of the champions, we don't know about their past, but the champions are their future, understand?
Everyone who knows the champion's lore knows what the character will become in the future, we just want to know what their past was like
Yeah I think zaun has been independent since the game started.
not entirely corretct but mostly
I just noticed that in-game ability spotlight of Warwick shows him attacking Signed 0-0
That spotlight is really old, did they have this plan all along?
he should watch the interactions of the charactens in the game
Wait.. Nobody mention oriana before? The singed daughter
Vicktor will eventually become what you see in the game, because the show is set in the past of what you see in the game.
regardless of if warwick is vander warwick is shown clearly in the teadswer for season 2 that came out like a few motnsh back
another theory: Benzo is Urgot
