about swain and many others. Yes, league's lore is deep and the important plot points are fairly settled, Riot has a "lore bible" that isn't public, mostly to allow changes if needed, but also, to let people speculate, and because they didn't have a proper way to show all the stories (league's gameplay doesn't allow for deep narrative, but the characters and world are well thought out), unlike now, that they will be making tv shows.
Heimerdinger, Ziggs, Jayce, Viktor, and even Vi don't have any interaction with Jinx in the game because they are older than her. All the voice lines of other champions of other universes are because their skin is legendary tier (they add new VO that suits the theme). So, they need to make a VO rework to give to the older champions interactions... Btw, they announced that a champion related to Arcane (maybe one of those who I mentioned) will have a full visual rework that includes new voice lines. Imo will be Singed
They kinna hint that they are sister in the begining with some voice line and the art too. If u look at the background Jinx have the same background as Vi, but Jinx's background is a destroyed city
You could also add the Trivia and Relations sections of the wiki page for the next champions, they have info that sometimes only appear in other champions stories.
8:13 Fiddlesticks is the Demon of Fear, he doesn't have a Human body, that's why it sounds so wired, also he remembers the last thing the victim said before being killed by him or something that would make his victim feel Fear, Demons feast on the emotion they are the Demon of. This is why he has this quote against Jinx: "... All your fault ...". If I remember correctly Ekko, being the most "recent" one of the Arcane characters (except for the Cait ASU) is the one that has the most interactions with the rest of the characters from Arcane, you can watch it from Skin Spotlights, they have Special Interactions for most of the characters in the game. Also his cinematic is FIRE and I mean F.I.R.E. ... and a little sad if you've reed his web comic first, when at the begining of the cinematic Ekko says: "More Years on their Lives" and the Voice actor delivery, Dude it hits me on the feels every time.
Jinx is really fun to play and she gets really strong in fights once her passive activates (it can stack) and you can just run and gun everyone down :D
Oh wow, I might need to check that out in the game, it does sound awesome. I used to play Heroes of the Storm but never tried League. Jinx definitely sounds fun.
@@MrGuybrush LoL is way more hardcore than Hots, and jinx belong to one of the hardest class in the game. So you better prepared yourself if you want to play her
@@bellidrael7457 it's about positioning. You need to constantly apply dps while finding the right position. Not as easy as a tank who would just run straight at your face and press all the button he had. You clearly never play a markman to have such idea
@@MrGuybrush Well, she is a standard hypercarry adc, which makes her very hard to play well. Its all about auto attacking and kiting (moving away from the enemy while auto attacking) and she is very squishy, so if you don't position well, you get oneshot. But she is extremely powerful in lategame due to her attack speed steroid from the minigun and increased AoE damage from the rockets. Also, ones she gets a kill or assist, she gains a lot of movement and attack speed and can basically run over the enemy team if played well
Arcane Jinx was definitely a reimagining of the character where they leaned hard into the mentally tormented kind of crazy. Original LoL Jinx was more of a loose cannon mixture of the Joker and Harley Quinn who's more focused on blowing shit up to piss off Vi and fend off boredom.
StarGuardian Jynx is A legendary skin and for it has different interactions that could be funny to react and in the case of Gameplay Jynx is a Mid Game carry.that could be problematic if Scales enought in Game, she is on the bot Lane and one of her worst matchup is against Caitlyn (Caitlyn is the most ranged Shooter in the game)
next time you do one of these videos, look at the skins on the league wiki/fandom page as well! when you hover the images it has a short description of each skin in that universe
For a long time, Riot`s narrative team tried to hide Jinx and Vi being sisters when it was so obvious to everyone they were! They`d do a bunch of misdirects but the fact Hermit tells Vi "You look like your sister, wait I`m not supposed to talk about that" in one of her skins that has blue hair. Vi and Jinx both being neon haired young women from Zaun although Vi later moved to Piltover and became an Enforcer and both being smart but not liking to plan things out and instead favoring violence .
jinx is fun to play! whether she is good always heavily depends on the current meta (the game changes things up several times a year, items or other game features are added, removed or changed, new champions are added and so the champions are nerfed or buffed depending on all those elements and different aspects of champions make them stronger or weaker depending on the overall game trend), but she has been played a lot in pro-play in recent year since her passiv is really strong and after one takedown she has the ability to just maw over the enemies and get anothee takedown, which reactivates her passive again. her problems on the other hand are that she is not really as mobile as other champions (which can be circumvented by certain support champions who help her in this regard) and ones she falls behind it is harder for her to catch up again. sorry for all the game talk, hope this answers the question xD
As a former Jinx main, she is very fun and I kid you not, she can carry the whole 5-man team with the right support and protecting. Her weakness? she has is not a tank so she is squishy af,
23:00 wanna see something cooler? Go to episode 9 to the finale, you'll see the same face on the explosion, when arcane released the face in the game was changed to match with arcane's one
as a league player I would say Jinx is a very solid champion in game, shes not hard to learn and easy for new players (she was my main back in 2015), yet she remains useful for skilled players too even being picked in pro play! Her passive is insanely broken, she also has CC and slows and if you have good aim, Jinx could definitely be your ticket to victory!
In regards to your comment about a lot of people not expecting Vi to become an enforcer it does feel weird but in the context of arcane it makes sense. The undercity she left when she was arrested in ep 3 is not the same one she came back to in ep 5. Under Vander, the Undercity, while still impoverished and downtrodden, was a lot better socially speaking. Vander and everyone looked out for each other, they were like family. But once Silco took over he introduced Shimmer, he didnt look out for anyone but Jinx and his most loyal followers. He brutalized anyone who dared defy him, something Vander never did. So what she sees when she finally goes back is not the home she remembers but instead this grotesque and monstrous city that ruins the lives of the people who are already struggling. Its why she knew she had to take out Silco and remove this poison from the Undercity in the hopes that the city can be heal and be as good as what she remembered. Even though she wants the Undercity to be independent, she wasnt willing to trade one set of bad leaders for another. So, despite the fact that she isnt thrilled about it (and we can see that in the trailer) she joins the enforcers as that ensures shes in a position to be able to do something about it. The advantage here is that by joining the enforcers shes no longer a single vigilante but instead has help via other enforcers who can assist her in realizing her dream of a better Undercity
Jinx and Vi weren't originally sisters. They, along with echo, were a part of a zaun street gang. Vi eventually left the gang after being arrested and then given the opportunity to keep doing what she loved (beating people up) but for the law, hence why all of Vi's moves and voice lines are references to that. When Vi left, Jinx because a little crazier, but was not heartbroken over it. When she started talking to her guns, that's when Ekko left, leaving Jinx by herself. She did the pranks for attention, and doesn't actively hate Vi or Caitlyn, instead seeing it as a game of tag, even has a side quest in game if she's on the opposite team of either of them, her buff called "catch me if you can." She loves funs and explosives, why she's normally seen being happy, unlike arcane's dour version. You can see it in Riots promo for wild rift where she gets the group together to fight, starting with Lux. LoL Jinx is my favorite character, has been since she came out, but she is not powder. I like Powder from Arcane, but there is no realistic way for her to become the Jinx in game that was created. Oh, also, Ziggs is desthly afraid of her.
Please don't install league :D it's better for your mental health not to! In my opinion, Jinx is a fun character to play, she is a hypercarry (someone that, if getting a lot of gold/kills early can easily run down the enemy team) and her passive stacks so you can RATATATA everyone down until it runs out or you get jumped by an assassin :D. In ye olde days League didn't really have lore and a lot of characters were based on MMO archetypes (E.G. Nasus who's based on Anubis, Singed was a Mad scientist, Ashe is based on a Drow archer, but frosty , Annie is based on those creepy kids in horror movies with special powers, Shaco is a murder clown, Etc etc). Then Riot decided to have a lore universe, and they kinda had to try and fit all these champs into the lore (Twice even i think, i only really started to play in 2021) like Fiddlesticks, who was based on a posessed scarecrow archetype, became the primal demon of fear. Riot fit the majority of the characters into the lore (except for a few, looking at you, shaco and cho) but it's been a while since jinx (and also vi) have been added so that's why jinx ingame still sounds deranged AF and VI still has lines like "Punch first, ask questions while punchin'..." since they really haven't been updated. 9:07 Kayn is actually partially posessed by his weapon, and that's why he has like "Rhaast" and "darkin form" in his lines. TLDR his weapon is sentient and trying to take over his body while he's fighting to have control over it, you can choose ingame if he gets posessed and transforms (then he's more of a bruiser type) or stays like himself (then he plays more like an assassin type), the picture where u see him on screen is a skin, and his base skin looks like an even edgier sasuke uchiha in my opinion. 23:35 as someone else here stated in the comments, usually you recognise the character by their silhouette, their weapons and theway they carry themselves. Jinx always has her minigun and her rocket launcher on her and actually is the only one to have one like that even tho there are more people with guns (Caitlyn with her scoped sniper, Jhin has a pistol etc etc) she also always has her pigtails even though they might not look like those (E.G. one of her pigtails in her cristmas skin is actually just a really long christmas hat). Vi for example will always have her big gauntlets and usually carries her hands like she's about to go in the boxing ring. The skins will always be made to fit the character's animations (unless it's one of the expensive skins that get their own animation). so even if you do'nt recognise the skin you will always know which champion it is in match cause of the animation
im an adc/marksman main and jinx is pretty fun! she is a strong character, relatively easy to play but has a high skill ceiling. if you like playing ranged dps then i'd recommend trying her out, i will also say that warwick is a pretty common starter character for league newbies if you want to play an arcane character lol
I might check it out. I installed it to check out the skills but seeing that I needed to go through a tutorial discouraged me a bit 😅 Everyone keeps saying that I shouldn't play, but that only makes me more curious haha
@@MrGuybrush give it a try if you're curious! league is very information heavy at the start but can be really fun if that kind of nerdiness in a game is appealing to you hahahah
Before the Arcane, it was never clear to everyone that Vi and Jinx are actually sisters, people just think of it as a Theory, but it end up true. Some interactions are from other skinlines, but it doesn't mean that it was an actual connection to the Cannon Lore of Runeterra, Odyssey Jinx, Star Guardian Jinx and other skinline have their Story, but it was never connected to the main Cannon Lore
2:39 keep in mind that, despite the fact that Riot a while back decided Arcane was canon... Arcane Jinx and League of Legends Jinx are two COMPLETELY different characters. Jinx in Arcane is a traumatized genius inventor. Jinx in League of Legends is Harley Quinn and comedic relief. The character of Jinx was effectively hijacked, turned into a trauma baby, and now old Jinx is dead because the new trauma Jinx is canon.
So you better prepared yourself if you want to play her
@@dieptrieu6564 'one of the hardest class in the game'
Yeah. Right click things is super, super hard.
Also, ones she gets a kill or assist, she gains a lot of movement and attack speed and can basically run over the enemy team if played well
so many interesting references - but i also did not expect a reference to Pink Floyd there. "Shine on you crazy diamond" 11:43
Arcane Jinx was definitely a reimagining of the character where they leaned hard into the mentally tormented kind of crazy. Original LoL Jinx was more of a loose cannon mixture of the Joker and Harley Quinn who's more focused on blowing shit up to piss off Vi and fend off boredom.
you should see: welcome aboard
StarGuardian Jynx is A legendary skin and for it has different interactions that could be funny to react and in the case of Gameplay Jynx is a Mid Game carry.that could be problematic if Scales enought in Game, she is on the bot Lane and one of her worst matchup is against Caitlyn (Caitlyn is the most ranged Shooter in the game)
next time you do one of these videos, look at the skins on the league wiki/fandom page as well! when you hover the images it has a short description of each skin in that universe
Oohhh that would be helpful! Thanks for the tip and for watching!!
Jinx main, she is awesome and fun to play. But very much a glass cannon. Heavy late game snowballing.
So I guess maybe we will get the reaction for star guardians and odyssey ?🤩
Oh wow I just checked in the Wiki and it does seem interesting 👀 I had no idea there were alternate realities in the lore.
as a league player I would say Jinx is a very solid champion in game, shes not hard to learn and easy for new players (she was my main back in 2015), yet she remains useful for skilled players too even being picked in pro play!
To quote Apocalypse World Zachariah from "Supernatural" "False!" th-cam.com/video/rwgAFIboSOA/w-d-xo.html
Fiddlestick is a demon, he doesn't have voices, all he doing is mimic other people's voices, those line is coming from the darkest memories of jinx
20:34 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Someone save this man
Please don't install league :D it's better for your mental health not to!
You could have also react to her Legends of runeterra voicelines
There is a theory that Vander is Warwick
Yeah I did check him out on this other video: th-cam.com/video/haehLN_ggB4/w-d-xo.html definitely interesting stuff for season 2 of Arcane 👀
im an adc/marksman main and jinx is pretty fun! she is a strong character, relatively easy to play but has a high skill ceiling. if you like playing ranged dps then i'd recommend trying her out, i will also say that warwick is a pretty common starter character for league newbies if you want to play an arcane character lol
@@MrGuybrush the community in game however.. can be interesting. dont say we didnt warn you🤣
Before the Arcane, it was never clear to everyone that Vi and Jinx are actually sisters, people just think of it as a Theory, but it end up true.
Some interactions are from other skinlines, but it doesn't mean that it was an actual connection to the Cannon Lore of Runeterra, Odyssey Jinx, Star Guardian Jinx and other skinline have their Story, but it was never connected to the main Cannon Lore
22:10 its her pistol
I mained her in 2013
2:39 keep in mind that, despite the fact that Riot a while back decided Arcane was canon...
Also what... what does her E, the flame chompers, have to do with monkeys lol.
I hear you recently downloaded the game, I've been playing the game for almost 8 years. If you want any pointers or be taught the game, I'd be happy to help
Bridging the rift part 2?
Yes! I'm recording it today and should be up tomorrow!
I think you should have watched all the cinematics first. And then exploring deeper in certain characters. You got some spoilers.
they build her different in arcane , the voice line not so canon with the show, if u notice she very happy also u don't recognize her trauma from the game or from the old clip "get jinx"
any plans on watching more necrit content about the mmo?
Definitely! I've been on a short vacation and these days I will be uploading more often about the MMO and other stuff. I've been trying to learn a bit more about the lore in general before diving into specifics. Slowly but surely haha Thank you for watching!
@@MrGuybrush take your time my man
Alot of these were alternate timeline/Old Lore stuff, its not really possible to rely on alot of this stuff :/
Stop it MrGuybrush you can't fix her... xD
🎉🎉🎉 now u downloaded the game, time to try 😊
or play the mobile version just for fun
You said English isn’t your first language,so did I.
(Just realized that I even didn’t try to understand what Ai said 😂 it’s so many English
Vander 😭
Never forget our Vander 😢😢😢
She goes "Jinx stands for jinx duh" because Vi (that noone knew has her sister before, just speculated) has the quote "Vi stands for Violence", or Vicious etc, that's her giving a hint of their relation
