she knows she is going to die from this, but is happy to have had such fun, to have met jinx, and considers it worth it
a character that dropped in out of nowhere (literally), had less than 50 scenes, and ZERO dialogue

the little laughs between the crying in some of them are so real, cause the scenes in between are so cute but then you're hit by what is actually happening
After watching Arcane... I feel hope for some good stories still coming out. The entire series writing was top notch, the storytelling, the shifting of colors/styles/graphics is unmatched in years. Knowing the ending of Arcane, the end comment plays over and over in everything that happens throughout the entire show. 100/10!
The writing was definitely better in season 1 but the show is definitely worth finishing. They just has a lot of ideas and clearly not enough time so the way things happened didn’t feel as smooth as season 1. Season 1 had perfect pacing
Same but hold on! Only reason this is so good is because Riot had 100% control. If Hollywood or whatever studios let people take more risks, then hell yeah!

I have a theory for that...
I've always liked origin stories more than anything, stuff like Spider-Man 1 over 2, Return to the 36 Chambers...
Seeing someone develop fully just feels more complete and satisfying than watching the continued adventures in stuff that's short-form like this.
When the characters don't have time to go through a lot of twists and turns, it often feels this way.
Seeing all the characters go from a high to a low or vice-versa is quite a ride, and it didn't feel like that happened enough for so. What I mean by this I'll reference Angel.
If you watch through all the seasons of that show, you see allegiances flip all over the place, to the point where you even feel sympathetic towards the bad guys at the end, but with a big enough cast to make the intertwining relationships feel like living things in a real way.
Though I loved this, it felt like the characters didn't really change overall. I liked Jinx's story most of all, but I feel like maybe the property just didn't have enough in it with so much wrapped up.
I could be wrong though... never wanted to play League. Guess I might dive down a wiki hole.
I don't usually cry when a character dies in a show but damn it ishas death made me cry i wasn't expecting it at all

Gotta give it to Arcane. They had the balls to kill off a child character to forward the story. Lots of series play it safe.
Tbf, it’s an archetype and trope for children. They’re usually used as a literal plot device to drive the narrative emotionally since they’re innocent most times
Also for practical reasons, it’s very hard (especially live action) to have a child actor go through that. More or less have a child actor that can act convincingly
Some shows and series do have lots of children dying. Game of Thrones burns a child alive.
From what I’ve seen; it’s usually war settings that display children characters in death. Beasts of No Nation is a big example of that
Isha's sacrifice was to protect the person she saw as her mother and she wanted Jinx to become a hero.
Isha's name means "one who protects" 😢😢😭
