There's such a relaxed feel in that factory. I still think the 916 is the most beautiful sporsbike ever, with the MV F4. I'm surprised Foggy hasn't got one of his winning bikes in his house!
Probably the greatest moment in motorcycle racing ... Mike Hailwood comeback at the IOM TT ... won the Formula 1 race on a Ducati at his first attempt back ... Mike the bike Hailwood, The greatest ever
Met Charley at goodwood festival of speed many years ago ,was happy to chat and reminded him of him being in “the emerald forest” when he was a kid , genuinely nice down to earth guy 👍👍👍
That was so cool, I'm lucky to live on the isle of man born n raised and we just had TT week and southern 100 is very soon, it's an amazing time of year people from all corners of the globe come in droves to see this yearly race and I love seeing all the bikes meeting all the people. Your all welcome n hopefully c u 2025.
This encapsulates what is so terrific about being part of the bike world. I was lucky enough to own a V4S before I got sick and had major surgery. Having to let that go put a real dent in my biking heart. I’ll be back on one again one day….
Hi Charlie from Greece. I am following you from the long way round.i missed my xr 600 also .happy to show my mountains in the north of Greece. Maybe u make a tour someday.all the best and stay healthy
Great video and whilst you have the obvious stars in the foreground, Simon Jackson sales manager at Ducati Stoke is a top bloke hovering in the background. Always at hand to ensure customer satisfaction 👍
There’s some race series and dates that stick out as really awesome. Never to be repeated. Transatlantic Trophy in the 70’s. Sheene , Roberts and the rest. WSB in the 90s. Foggy, Edwards, Bayliss, Corsa etc. GP500 with Doohan, Swarz, Freddie Spencer, sheene, KR, Gardener and Dr 46 himself. Bloody hell there was some mad racing.
Makes me feel old remembering all those classic seasons and rivalries that weren't watered down and all P.C.! What got me in to racing in the first place!
I visited last year, git to tick one thing off the bucket list :) ... brought back some great memories. The fountain in the background at the end if you take a photo at a special angle it makes him look like he has a big donger LOL
Hard to believe his first championship was 30 years ago, seems like lit was just yesterday I was following him in all the motorcycle magazines and wishing that I could afford a Ducati 916.
Glorious looking bikes….practical, everyday and useable? Would love one! But watching the corporate speak and arrogance I’m totally put off. My assessment would be that like BMW they are trying to squeeze the last out of the ageing performance/adventure segment. Where’s the entry offerings. I remember my posters from the 1970’s and brand loyalty was key as you would work through from an SS50 to a CB750! As every brand tried to offer. Good to see Triumph responding
Really need to ensure everyone has a mic and that the levels are dialed in properly. Constantly turning down the music portions and certain interviews were difficult to hear the party being interviewed.
Dear multinicked troll posting always the same pathetic garbaging msg in all videos about Ducati factory : if you really owned a masterpiecing SF V2, then you should know it's impossible what you wrote, for being mechanics from Imola Modena & neighbourin places the best in the world..! 😁🤫
I thought Fogarty was an arrogant git due to his pieces to camera. I got involved in a conversation with the Fogarty's and others at an SBK at Phillip Island, no cameras, no press and it changed my opinion. You couldn't have met a nicer couple. Then he fell off ......
The last thing I would ever buy is a Bentley/Ducati motorcycle. I am sorry, but that thing is fugly as hell. Massimo Tamburini must be turning in his grave.
Next time you read a 'review' of a Ducati or any other modern motorcycle brand cast your mind back to the journalists whooping and clapping over their free buffet and ask yourself how impartial that review actually will be.
most folks in the western world think these are among the worst bikes ever made.. overpriced in a big way, same old same old, ugly doesn't quite fit, bootleg ugly .. sorry man, bit of truth amongst the leg humpers and pozers
....said the envious poor failure who can't afford any of the best made & most beautiful bikes in history ! 😂🤣 Sorry, no offence, but your embarrassing naive comment looks even more pathetic than any harley can or any japanese flat grom ...! 😁😂 And this last seems much more truth than yours...
Did the good folks at Ducati cringe every time Boorman said “DuCATti”? Did they move on to Germany and say “Porsh” over and over at the Porsche factory?
Superb. Very enjoyable to see #1 👀 and Ducati factory -
Makes you want to go there! Fantastic

you haven't seen his house then? He has one in his passage as soon as you open the front door

Ducati have made some of the most gorgeous bikes on the planet, bikes that have transcended into art. But the Bentley Ducati isn't one of them.
What the hell were they thinking?
@@HaggisPower yeah as a work of art it's a Picasso!
Hi Charley, my brother Peter is the guy you're working with currently I'm absolutely gob smacked 😊 I'm so so proud of him.
Regards H

Il cuore ducati. Not just spaghetti, espresso, amore and show, but fundamental racing precision.
Hi Charlie from Greece. I am following you from the long way round.i missed my xr 600 also .happy to show my mountains in the north of Greece. Maybe u make a tour someday.all the best and stay healthy
Excellent video. All time favourite WSBK rider. King Carl.
Makes you feel proud to be British. With the help of the Italians 😂🇮🇹🇬🇧
He also won at the TT as well. Not everyone’s cup a tea but was instrumental in securing the 916’s legendary status. A fantastic racer…
I visted the factory and museum on a few weeks ago. Amazing experience.
Great video a really good watch and lovely motorbikes.
Great video Charley, really great to see the factory and congrats to Carl as well. Hope you put out a lot more of these.
I love that Foggy still looks like at any given moment, he could be less than ten seconds away from being in deep mischevious trouble.
Great video and whilst you have the obvious stars in the foreground, Simon Jackson sales manager at Ducati Stoke is a top bloke hovering in the background.
Always at hand to ensure customer satisfaction 👍
As the owner of an XDiavel S and a 24 Streetfighter V4S, I wish I could have gotten more of the Paingale assembly line.
There’s some race series and dates that stick out as really awesome. Never to be repeated.
Transatlantic Trophy in the 70’s. Sheene , Roberts and the rest.

Let's not forget the human grass strimmer that was Pierre Francesco Chili.

Wow can't wait for the Ducati x Skoda.
Very impressive, and great video
Hard to believe his first championship was 30 years ago, seems like lit was just yesterday I was following him in all the motorcycle magazines and wishing that I could afford a Ducati 916.
Awesome episode this,
Foggy is to blame for my love of Ducati
What's not to love in this video 🙂 I even like the utterly unaffordable Bentley Diavel.
Congrats Carl.
Great to see Carl's face after all this time.
Who would have won a 3 race shootout, Doohan v Foggarty.
Mate that was an exciting time for bike racing.
I met glen irwin and carl they are nicest bunch of riders I've come across
Fogarty the legend. Carl Fogarty una leggenda che insieme a Ducati hanno fatto grandi cose. Bellissimi ricordi. ❤❤❤❤ ps. Bellissimo Video.
Times like this I wish I never heard Borat talk …. “ it’s a very nice 👍 “
I stumbled upon the museum/factory when I was driving to Maranello in my Porsche from UK. Didn't do the factory tour but enjoyed the museum.
“It’s a bit creaky”, is my morning routine getting up. Fun video, just enough of everything. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
Been to the factory. Gigi dall'igna walk right past me.
Grande FOGARTY! 💫🇮🇹

not many bike racing fans know Foggy nowaday. Carl Foggarty is one of the WSB legend in history.
Foggy was the reason I bought my 916 💪🏼😂🤣
Charlie & his Charisma Bypass mate Foggy
Foggy turns his back on the guy introducing the tour.
Hey Charlie!
I thought that the Bentley Ducati just looked like an orange Diavel... I was completely underwhelmed.
Boorman and Foggy are a good match.
Agree. Charley and Russ were a great team as well in all of Charley's adventures. I still watch By Any Means 1 & 2 every now and then.

King Carl & Queen Micaela
Press vankers!!! 🤩
Say hello to Carl from the Clarets.
9.46 this guy asking the questions needs to be schooled before hand
😍😍😍
Fog legend…!!!
Someone there forgot to tighten 2 small fixings screws on my SF V2. All good, I did it for them😁

Hey Charley what happened to that B.M.W. shit you rode sometime ago all down to money no doubt ??
That Bentley duke looks fucking awful.
