    I am so grateful that you guys figured out a unique system to measure glasses fitting. Have wasted money on sunglasses that doesn't fit well. Thank you!

    This is a great idea, but unfortunately it's difficult for people who don't have reading glasses or any kind of regular pairs.. All i have is a pair of sunglasses that fit decent.

    I wish oakley eyeglasses had width measurements. I need something slightly larger than the metalink 55. I like the mnp family but I don't want to end up with the same undersized look

    How do I know which swf would fit my face profile except by trying glasses and see which would fit?

    This video has been out for over a year. I emailed Customer Service about being a difficult fit and they suggested watching this video to point me in the right direction. Still, every pair I looked at does not have a Frame Width listed on the product page. How is this helpful???

    Will you be adding the SFW measurement to the frame descriptions on the website?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Jon! Yes, we are working to add that measurement to our website.Thanks for tuning in!

  • @ussassu

    I hate how almost no stores include the most important measurement which is frame width, and should be the inside measurement. All other measurements you can see visually and are much less important than frame width. Just ridiculous.

    How do you measure your face for frames when you DON'T currently have any glasses? I'm having a really hard time trying to measure on my own. Can you please make a new video in response to my question? Thanks!

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is a very good question! We are having a tough time coming up with a reliable and consistent method of measuring this. We are still working on how to make that translate. Stay tuned for when it comes out!

    This guy has commented on his alleged large head/face but here we see him in 139mm frames that fit pretty great. Achieving an also good fit look with 145mm in the aviators video.
    It feels like measurements have no effect on looks, or am i missing something?

    Hi rob
    How do we figure a frame sfw?
    Do we just add up both the lens size and the dbl?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's is a measurement that may not be done identically for every frame. I can say, for certain, that it is more than just doubling the eyesize and adding the dbl. Doing that is a decent starting point, but there can be other design details that affect the SFW measurement. Rob goes into that a bit to try to explain how that works, but it's definitely one of those things that blends extensive optical experience and science with art/understanding frame design and functionality. We're racking our brains to figure out how to come up with a foolproof way to explain it for all to duplicate!
      Thanks for watching!

    Have a question I measure my eyeglasses they were 130mm I found some same as that. But I also found 132 would they work if I went with thise

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  ปีที่แล้ว

      Most likely! A 2mm difference in SFW would likely fit without much issue. You can also take advantage of our Test Run program that let's you try the frame on before purchasing Rx lenses. 👉www.sportrx.com/test-run

    How does this work with asian fit glasses for us with large heads and high cheeks?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is a great question! It will help with the large/wide head element, for sure. As for the cheeks bit, that is a bit tougher to discern by the frame alone. The bridge fit plays a large roll in that as well, so there may not be a perfect way to figure that out aside from physically trying them on. We'll wrack out brains, though! Stay tuned!
