WOW, thanks so much ihaney. This is easily the biggest and most generous donation I've ever gotten and I am at a bit of a loss for what to say or how to properly say thank you. Also, those food prices are definitely getting crazy these days! I've said it before, but it is this level of support for the Complete Guide series that has motivated me to make one for some of the older souls games (when I have the time). I am currently planning to make one for Dark Souls 3, been playing and taking notes for the last couple of weeks. I hope to get it out before the release of Wukong in August. I also hope it will allow people that have never played Dark Souls 3 to share in the experience of that darker, though equally incredible experience! Thanks again ihaney, you are a generous and kind soul, and I wish you all the best!

While you don't need to, saving the final boss fight of the base game campaign until after beating the DLC is incredibly satisfying from a story perspective. Because by that point, especially if you've defeated all shard/great rune bearers, you have eliminated all opposition to your ascent to Elden Lord and dismantled Marika's legacy nearly completely.

If it hasn't been mentioned yet, the 7th Forager book is still obtainable after approaching the castle and breaking the seal/charm. In my game I had already entered the Shadow Keep and had cleared it all the way up to the site of grace just before the Messmer boss fight. At this point I left, collected a handful of the Forager books I did not yet have, and then returned to Moore. He presented me with the "move on" and "be sad" options. I told him to be sad. He completed that dialog and then continued with "by the way..." and he gave me the 7th book. After that I reloaded a few times and he was gone, moved to his final position with the cold Forager. Thank you for your excellent work on these guides.
Yes it seems you can still get the 7th cookbook after breaking the great rune. However, you must get the 4th book before speaking to him / telling him to be sad (or I think even move on). It’s just that if you talked to him so that he’s already disappeared and you haven’t gotten the 7th book then you are locked out. Better off not risking it and just do it before breaking the rune. But it’s nice to see at last chance mechanic for those that already broke the rune.
Yeah that torch brings me back. 😂I missed a ton of stuff on my first playthrough and really wanted that Age of the Stars ending so I also watched that guide. 👍
Oh my god thank you thank you thank you. I have bad OCD and need to complete all NPC quests in order to feel satisfied with the game. I've been waiting for this guide and per usual you did not dissapoint. You are my favorite TH-camr ever.
I always love how these guides casually tell you to just kill the enemy, an enemy that proceeds to absolutely destroy you for a couple of hours while you chip 1/150,000 of it's health off with each hit.

Kind of disappointing that the DLC has no interaction with the main game content past the initial travel and vice versa. Imagine if wearing Miquella's circlet enraged Malenia, or if you could talk to Melina about Messmer. It's like its lore is a fanfiction to the base game.
So i just finished your guide for the base game with a fresh character. It took me 42 hours. Now with that character i will be following your DLC Guide. Thank you so much!
Hell yeah, first one's already out. Awesome! I'm working my way through the base game and was kinda hoping there would atleast be one guide for the DLC to get me started once I get there

On the way back to where you fought Moonrithyll, you should find a new Glintblade Sorcery (as well as the Wolf Crest Shield if you missed that, too).
I just started playing Elden Ring, and your guides are the best on TH-cam. Thank you for being so clear and in depth, it has helped me tremendously to understand the game/mechanics!.❤😊

53:11 all the way on the other side is a Poison Putrid Tree. Once defeated (relatively easy), it drops the Immunizing Horn Charm +2 which vastly raises immunity against poison and scarlet rot.
Thanks for putting in the hard work for these informative videos. These are super helpful, and I like how you have the respect not to spoil while guiding. Again, Thank you!
You can use Margit’s shackle for hanging pots, to break spirit spring rocks, and for hidden walls. The range is insane on this thing so if you see pots missing, springs already broken, or walls already gone, it could have been from an earlier use very far away. My first playthrough I spent forever trying to find a hanging pot only to realize I broke it miles away lol.
I follow the 9 part base game guide on pretty much every playthrough, about to hop into the DLC guide for the first time on my 2nd DLC run, I cant wait !!

Thank you, I played through the first game blind and now I’m following your guide with a new character. I’m currently at Part 5 of the main game. Thanks for the good work.
you'll always be my favorite part of playing elden ring, walking through the side quests with you is very fun and satisfying. btw ds1,2,3 has some really poor guieds, I mean thanks to people who made them but they're old now, so if you're looking for ideas for your channel, you'll easily become the guied number 1.
I decided to complete the DLC without looking at any guide and when I finally finished it with my first char, I realized how many items I had lost in that run. Now I will start the DLC with another character and I will be following your guide step by step to ensure success. Your video seems to have a huge quality and to have been created with enormous dedication. A great job without a doubt. Thanks for this, I think it has helped many players along the way. Even so, I would like to express that the design of Fromsoftware's quests are beginning to exceed the limits of extreme nonsense. As someone who has played their games for over 10 years, since the beginning of Demon Souls on PS3, their cryptic quests were never good, but in linear worlds they had a certain charm. In an open world like Elden Ring, it has become evident how disastrous a system is in which you cannot succeed unless you are glued to a video tutorial on TH-cam. Because that is what they have created, a video game in which you can only aspire to 100% completion if you use TH-cam as if it were a tool of the game itself. I believe that at this point the developers are not creating quests for the player to enjoy. They are creating quests to play with our psychology and see how much bs we are able to tolerate while they have a shield against any criticism. I want games with Skyrim, Horizon, Dragon Age style quests. The Fromsoftware system stopped being fun a long time ago.

@@daydreamer8364 I think so. It should be okay though, seems to be optional dialogue.
I'm having the same issue
@@Six11Slender should be fine. It is an optional dialogue.
So i just finished your guide for the base game with a fresh character. It took me 42 hours. Now with that character i will be following your DLC Guide. Thank you so much!
BEST Elden Ring TH-camr! Your guides are phenomenal ♡
Hell yeah, first one's already out. Awesome! I'm working my way through the base game and was kinda hoping there would atleast be one guide for the DLC to get me started once I get there
Dude as an older gamer you’re my favorite guide channel by far. Thank you for making such precise and informative videos.
43:25 That mariner teleports one time once you approach it, then summons a lesser royal revenant. If you can't memorize a healing spell to make quick work of the latter, obtain a Finger Maiden Therolina Puppet, and have Roderika tune her to +9 or +10. Then summon Therolina for the battle.
I probably cant even imagine how much effort this took I’ve been around since your old fortnite videos and love that u keep making good content keep up the great work my man ur helping a lot
1:01:07 If you're a mage build like me, once you traverse the gate turn east and drop off the wall. Advance until you find a ladder leading to the rooftops. On the way back to where you fought Moonrithyll, you should find a new Glintblade Sorcery (as well as the Wolf Crest Shield if you missed that, too).
Holy moly, 1 hour and 12 minutes. Thank you. I hope you can pump these out fast!
I just started playing Elden Ring, and your guides are the best on TH-cam. Thank you for being so clear and in depth, it has helped me tremendously to understand the game/mechanics!.❤😊
Man you're the goat for doing these videos. Your original series accompanied me through my 150h Elden Ring playthrough 2 years ago and now I can go crazy with the DLC thanks to you
53:11 all the way on the other side is a Poison Putrid Tree.
I’lll never forget when I followed your original Elden guides and how helpful they were back in the day Shatter, thank you so much for making these 🙏
Followed your guide for the base game, of course you are the only one I would trust to guide me through the DLC. Love how detailed your guides are, thank you so much!
The legend returns!!!
ty shatter, you are the number1 Elden guide maker on youtube 100%
Followed everything step by step but I cant see the Dragon Priestess NPC... Please help 42:09
EDIT: was there during night time, I switch to day and she appeared
I finally beat the base game with the help of your previous videos. I learned a lot. Great job! I'll be playing Shadow of the Erdtree soon.
Yur the best for guides with all the details that others miss out on telling or showing!
I was literally waiting until your guide videos to start on the dlc. Can't wait to jump into it now!
Thank you, I played through the first game blind and now I’m following your guide with a new character. I’m currently at Part 5 of the main game. Thanks for the good work.
Really appreciated the walk-through for the original. Found it clear, concise & thorough…glad you did one for the DLC too.
you'll always be my favorite part of playing elden ring, walking through the side quests with you is very fun and satisfying.
btw ds1,2,3 has some really poor guieds, I mean thanks to people who made them but they're old now, so if you're looking for ideas for your channel, you'll easily become the guied number 1.
The Fromsoftware system stopped being fun a long time ago.
bro im very impress to your video, all of it, i know im just a random dude in the internet, but i wanna say, you have a great talent, your video is so helpfull, chilling, enjoyable, help me ease my mind everyday, even tho i didnt try erdtree yet i can still enjoy the while video of it, i hope have a well healthy and happy life as you bring happines to me
My guy, I'm so glad I found your channel your doing great work here!!
the legend is back
Amazing video as always ! Quick note : the ghostflame dragon is quite easy to kill, and he drops a Somber ancient dragons smithing stone, at 29:30 !
Thank you. I can't imagine how hard it is to find out and document everything. I've watched all of you videos and I am grateful.
I remember subbing from the quest lines you covered so well in the base Elden Ring game. So happy to see the growth and guides across many games and marshmallow is doing well.
I wish I waited until playing the dlc to get these extra npc interactions and quests. I’m sure that I can still do most of the quests but I think one or two are considered failed. At least this guide was able to help me get all the other collectibles.
27:53 the pest was upside down and half in the ground for me for some reason idk if it’s a glitch or if someone buried him but I was still able to talk to him and get the cookbook
it is a visual bug (no pun intended)
Man your guides have been so hopeful! This is my first From Software game and your videos helped me through the base game. level 150 and starting the dlc right now
I just finished your original guide series on my newgame+ character. Now im off to the dlc so that i can use your guide to complete all of the quests i missed the first time around. Thank you shatter for another timeless guide sereies!
Thanks for making this video. I followed your series on npc questline in the base game and remembered your name from those. Needless to say, when I saw you made a video for SOTE I clicked immediately!
The goat is back, watched another similar video to fill the void but it just doesn't cut it like you looking forward to part 2
Thank you so much for these guides they have made my playthroughs to get 100% so much easier and it makes me want to play the game more and more thanks to you and people like you I continue to be inspired to game and enjoy myself in my passion since childhood again thank you!
These are the vids I’ve been waiting for you do the best side quest vids so you don’t miss a thing I almost did them all from watching previous videos off other TH-camrs but messed up Moore’s quest so can’t get all the cookbooks till another play through
Wow this is the best guides i ever saw anywhere. Thanks man. God bless you
Finally! I've been waiting for this walkthrough to start playing the DLC
thank you
you really make this game triple fun with this type of full quest-lines guide video
was waiting for this
It's so soothing watching your videos. It's been 2 years and the quality just got better. Maybe also consider doing a walkthrough?
Waiting till day 1 for this video, the vibe of yours videos, your voice and the way you explain make your guides not only useful but also entertaining.
Your videos are always great and appreciated thanks
The *ONLY* walkthrough etc I will ever watch anymore. Top tier 🔥
