I got married after 3 months. I prayed and I had peace in my heart that is the right person. This is the 5th year since we got married and our second baby is 6 months. Grace to Lord.
My husband and I went out for 6 weeks before getting married. We’ve been married 47 years now We prayed and knew we were meant to get married so we eloped My daughter dated her husband 4 months and have been together 24 years now It’s about hearing what God says and not well meaning friends and family! He wants the best for us!
My parents were not saved when they got married. They were quite the opposite. They lived in Vegas, worked at casinos, dealing blackjack and craps. My dad went up to my mom’s table, hit on her they went out that night and got eloped 3 wks later in ‘79. Later in ‘88 ny dad got saved and my mom in ‘92. Had they not got saved, they would’ve been divorced. All praise & glory to our God. Married for 42 yrs until my dad passed
I so respect a man who doesn’t push for intimacy, especially kissing so early. A man of God will hold off on that to make sure he’s not dishonouring you or himself
My wife and I got engaged after 1 week, married a month after that. That will be 27 years ago on August 23. Been one hell of a ride!!!! But we’re still going strong!!!

Me and my wife eloped and made some family members Pretty angry about that, but but 30 years later, we're still going strong🙂 Sadly, all of our friends that got married around the same time With big, fancy weddings, none Survived this test of time. And Honey, to this day 30 years and four kids later The fire still burns hot...😁 so God knows what he's doing. Waiting is for suckers, LOL
Amen! Finally someone who understands! Above all my husband and I prayed for each other. The holy spirit literally told me I’d marry him on the first day and I couldn’t believe it. But God knows who’s best for you! It seems these days it’s harder to find someone who understands this topic. We also asked and talked about evvvveryyything for the same reasons! We didn’t want to date to see where things would go but rather date to marry and have that goal of a lifetime together. My husband and I were engaged by 3 months and by 6 we were married. Now going on 6 years everyday we grow closer to God TOGETHER. It’s a beautiful thing to grow your nest from the ground up and with nothing but all the love and with the grace of God. I remember being stood up and just walking home crying and asking God why? Why was it so hard to find a good man? Why was I being treated that way? Was there something wrong with me? Etc. I’ll never forget I fell to me knees when I got home and cried my heart out as I prayed. I felt in my spirit what was wrong. God told me I needed to fall in love with Him first before any man. And so that’s when things changed for me completely. I started to seek the Lord more and pray like crazy. I genuinely started to work on my relationship with God before anything else and whole heartedly trusting God that He would find the right man for me at the right time. That same year I met my husband at the the job I had at the time. We met in the break room and started to chat a bit. When I met him I remember thinking, “there’s something different about him.” As we said goodbye and parted ways I heard in my spirit, “you will marry that man.” 😳 I was like God I just met him this is crazy. Well little did I know I actually would lol. We ended up communicating on social media and well after several dates and so much talking we decided we both wanted something serious and above all put God first. I now know that at that time my husband was also praying for the right woman. You could say it’s a testimony. I don’t believe any one is perfect but I do believe God had the right person for you and we should pray on it. All marriages have struggles but when you’re equally yoked things are much easier. Like it was mentioned in the video when something is coming from the Lord, things just easily fit. Like how they’re families liked each other, for example. Started dating a Christian man, within one week today we have been on three dates, I have told him I am celibate before marriage and he said 'you're gonna have to do better than that to scare me off' he's a keeper 😊 feels right, so happy. Common now celibate after being railed by multiple people is not actually celibate. You are just deceiving him and having sex with your ex behind his back.

Other young couples these days tend to prolong the important stuff (like opening up about their past and sharing testimonies) cause they are culturally persuaded to be in a long engagement, but they are also rushing straight into physical intimacy. Thank you for sharing together. It brought to mind so much of the time my wife and I had at getting to know each other back in 1978. We married in December 1980 and the Lord called her Home at the end of this last December. Part of my healing has been hearing other couples' stories and another part has been to give the younger couples at church an embrace and a blessing. So even though I can't reach out to embrace the two of you, I can still say may the Lord bless you two with a long meaningful life together. And Jackie, your messages are always an encouragement to me.

Only go to cheap hotels at the very beginning. We never bought land and built a house until AFTER we were married! Don't spend ANY big money until AFTER marriage. And ONLY get married in the Philippines! And EVER allow her to become a U.S. Citizen!

Wow....I've seen this before and it just came up again on YT...the reason why I say this is I to met someone on Instagram and she's turning out to be quite special. She is a God-fearing woman of faith and just an amazing woman.
I talked everyday with a guy for 2 and half- 3 months. We had same opinions on everything : God, life, love, etc. I really believed he was the one because we were aligned. We shared intimate stories and deep thougts. We created emotions and love despite the distance. We litteraly never saw each other because he lives abroad and he couldnt come now to see me because of schedule but he promised to come in a year. But I recently I was desperate because I am ready to get married and he wants to wait 7 years or more to get married in order to achieve a career, wich doesnt really made sens to me. So we dont talk anymore because of that. I cannot understand why wedding and career cannot exist in the same time in his mind and I am older than him, I simply cannot wait 7-8 or more years for him, it would kill me inside and compromise my fertility. I got married 5 months after meeting my husband. That was 7 years ago. I did not want to live together and have sex while being unmarried. I do have to say the biggest cons is not to know the other person as well because you haven’t met them 100%. It took a couple of years to adjust 😂, I don’t know if other couples that have married have felt the same way but this was my experience.

HalleluYah! The Lord brought me here for a reason I am not confident in yet. My Apostle and Prophetess just got married almost a year and a half ago. She just wrote a book on "Waiting in Purpose" for singles, of course. A few women have approached, but nothing sticks. I keep seeing 222 (the lord speaks to me with numbers, this is not angel numbers), but I'm not sure if it's of increase within marriage or outside of that but, I love the testimony y'all and God bless you all.

Other young couples these days tend to prolong the important stuff (like opening up about their past and sharing testimonies) cause they are culturally persuaded to be in a long engagement, but they are also rushing straight into physical intimacy. Thank you for sharing together. It brought to mind so much of the time my wife and I had at getting to know each other back in 1978. We married in December 1980 and the Lord called her Home at the end of this last December. Part of my healing has been hearing other couples' stories and another part has been to give the younger couples at church an embrace and a blessing. So even though I can't reach out to embrace the two of you, I can still say may the Lord bless you two with a long meaningful life together. And Jackie, your messages are always an encouragement to me.

Only go to cheap hotels at the very beginning. We never bought land and built a house until AFTER we were married! Don't spend ANY big money until AFTER marriage. And ONLY get married in the Philippines! And EVER allow her to become a U.S. Citizen!

I talked everyday with a guy for 2 and half- 3 months. We had same opinions on everything : God, life, love, etc. I really believed he was the one because we were aligned. We shared intimate stories and deep thougts. We created emotions and love despite the distance. We litteraly never saw each other because he lives abroad and he couldnt come now to see me because of schedule but he promised to come in a year. But I recently I was desperate because I am ready to get married and he wants to wait 7 years or more to get married in order to achieve a career, wich doesnt really made sens to me. So we dont talk anymore because of that. I cannot understand why wedding and career cannot exist in the same time in his mind and I am older than him, I simply cannot wait 7-8 or more years for him, it would kill me inside and compromise my fertility. I got married 5 months after meeting my husband. That was 7 years ago. I did not want to live together and have sex while being unmarried. I do have to say the biggest cons is not to know the other person as well because you haven’t met them 100%. It took a couple of years to adjust 😂, I don’t know if other couples that have married have felt the same way but this was my experience.

HalleluYah! The Lord brought me here for a reason I am not confident in yet. My Apostle and Prophetess just got married almost a year and a half ago. She just wrote a book on "Waiting in Purpose" for singles, of course. A few women have approached, but nothing sticks. I keep seeing 222 (the lord speaks to me with numbers, this is not angel numbers), but I'm not sure if it's of increase within marriage or outside of that but, I love the testimony y'all and God bless you all.

She never told me that she was autistic and couldn’t understand her own feelings at all so she didn’t want to waste anymore of my time since she didn’t think she’d ever be able to make a decision. Just as well, as my brother died a few weeks afterwards and I’ve shut myself off from everyone ever since. I guess everything really does happen for a reason…
